ChemDawg D BX 3

I've got these last 8 plants in the breeding project in a smaller unit with the same 125 watt red spectrum CFL.

I have both the male and female picked, but I may have jumped the gun on the male; I may have picked it before I was sure it was male. I am about 80% sure. I have 3 more unknowns (2 I think will be female) and 3 more females, so what I'll be looking at is a 4-5 plant smoke grow of the mother rejects under a 400 watt HPS, and both the parents bred out under this 125 watt CFL. The cycles will be 10.5/13.5 for the CFL, and 10/14 for the HPS (in an attempt to induce Sativa genetics in both the seeds and the smoke).

I culled this male today:

The clone in veg is getting bigger, and the one in flower is looking good too. I'll get pics up later.

Ahh, wish it was.....
All my decisions have been made, but from what I'm seeing I doubt it will be final. Like I said previously, I wound up with the least effed up male. My final #s are 1 hermie (so far), 5 females, and 6 males. I also picked the least effed up female, as the one I was boasting on grew a nadsack on me. :(
And there's no guarantee I won't be pulling the Mom and replacing her. Or this grow going completely off, meaning I have to start over. I was wondering if the choice of more Sativa looking seeds wasn't really a choice of weaker stock even as I was picking those seeds.
But both parents are under the 125 watt red spectrum CFL running @ 10.5/13.5, and the other 4 females (or hermies) are under a 400 watt HPS running @ 11/13 (I decided to go with this timing schedule for now). 2 of the females I'm flowering out for smoke are in the same mix I used to put my last clones in (3/4 mix of 2 different flowering super soils and 1/4 of Promix HP), and 2 are in the latest version of SSM (2 gallon pots).
Post pics soon.

Happy Freeweed day and a Chronic Weekend to you also :thumb:

Got even cooler ones coming, CHH. Ones that are going to knock off about 1-1/2 to 2 years off this project. Instead of breeding out Rez's CDD v1.1, I'm going to use this:

Chem D x C4D - The classic elite clone Chem D crossed with a selected male from rez's C4D that smelt strongly of Chem D. C4D was the Chem 4 cut crossed with rez's Chem D ibl male - so this should come out like a Chem D back-cross with Chem 4 as the outcross! The test grows are showing healthy, very high yielding plants that reek of Chem and diesel and which look to go around 10-11 weeks. None of the Chem D clone's leaf streak trait has appeared in the 3 Females from the test grow.

I think I'll get closer to an even match when I start breeding the final 2 strains together and hopefully I'll have a better chance of nailing down a Chem D match.

damn i have gotten so far off on my program with so many distractions i have not made a cross or even grown out any of my project seeds in ages, been doing all this light testing, but once im done with this upcoming test im getting back on the breeding truck damn it! lol its gonna take a hella offer to dissuade me! kinda like the current deal you gotta check out these lights im testing, total control and remote controlled with light schedules that mimic seasons 3 channels to control the spectrum each hour is programmable even a "clone" light schedule details in my sig,
im liking the look the look of your current girls looking like the room full of chem d i saw years ago now if you'll just email me some aroma i can see if its the same smell lol :thumb:
