Chef De Green Does It All: Reveg, Clones, Autos & Photos

That’s exactly where I got all my info. He’s the master. Water extraction and heat pressing, can’t get better quality anywhere. Especially if you run fresh frozen material.

Whats up otter!

yeah absolutely. When you use bubblebags, you separate the trichome heads from everything else right? After that you want to use heat and pressure to knead the hash, pressing the trichome heads together, pooling the oils. I use a wine bottle filled with boiling water, but you can use an iron or whatever else heats up and can be used to apply pressure.

Well once you’ve got everything nicely dried, you dump your pile of kief on to parchment paper or thick plastic. Fold the parchment over, and press it with the hot wine bottle. It’ll start to stick together more and become soft and pliable (and sticky). Once it’s flat, open the paper up and fold it back on itself 2x so it’s a little ball again. Keep doing that for like 20 minutes... your goal is to no longer see grainy-ness. It should looks smooth and shiny. Properly pressing the kief will allow oils to actually break down the trichome membranes and other contaminants that may be present. It will improve in quality over time as well, like wine.
Thanks. Was wondering if there are other ways. I have Frenchy Cannoli's vids I've been studying and a few days ago my BIL gave me some from his trim. I did use the boiling water in a bottle technique first time and it worked . Here's the little leftover.

Got another flower update here.

It’s It Punch is very very close. I took these pictures yesterday, so today is day 59. I’m expecting 63-68 days out of this girl, so a week or so til chop. She’s got an amber popping up here and there, but she’s mostly cloudy with a hint of clear.

the Star Pupil is super chunky already. Today is day 45. She’s got just under 3 weeks left. I’ve been feeding her very light. 3g/gal MC + 20ml/gal of Terpinator... and that’s every other watering. So very very light.

Last but not least Sour Bubba. She’s day 35 today. Really stacking up buds quickly. It’s hard to tell how frosty she is cause all of the pictures are with flash, but she’s frosting up something fierce as well.

That’s it for today. My plan has become to turn the lights to 18/6 in the flower tent when the SP and IIP are done. I’ll put the Terple and LA Cheese in there to veg until the Sour Bubba finishes. At which point I will put up a 4x4 tent and my nextlight mega to flower the Terple and LA Cheese. Then we’ll be ready to figure out which new beans will be getting popped.

Thanks Penny. I’m honestly not sure what it will be. I’ve got another round of clones rooted (1 IIP, 2 Terple, 1CnC) but i might just hold onto the Terple and IIP to keep the genetics and pop something new. Oh yeah, which reminds me. I’ve got an IHG Black Cherry Punch plant that’s about 10” tall. So that will be part of the next round.

You don't have to narrow it down. You have to get a regular reversal program in place where you're building a seed inventory of keeper strains.

That’s true, I do need to do that. I’ll use that CnC clone I’ve got rooted as my next reversal then. Once everything is out of the closet it’s go time

Well folks, todays the day

harvest day for the It’s It Punch. I’m about to start taking her branches off. I’ll wet trim em and put them in paper bags. 30g per bag. She should be quite easy to trim.

She is a gorgeous plant!

Thanks Beez. Not too shabby at all for a first attempt... but I’m sure I could’ve done a lot better. My hope with my sour bubba is that it comes out even better.
