Thanks PC! She’s certainly a real looker. I think part of the reason she’s so colorful is cause I failed to top dress as often as I should have, which is a negative. Either way, definitely very pretty.
Yep! My first organic harvest. I’ve sample very few organic buds in my life, but they definitely all have smoothness and flavor in common. It should be some excellent smoke in a few weeks!

Well folks, the wet trimming is done. I got 8 bags of 30g, so I should be looking at about 2oz. Maybe a little more cause the buds are very tight.

Now that the IIP is gone, I moved the star pupil out and got everything squared up again.
I’m not sure if you guys are seeing the fatness on these SP buds, but this shit is bananas. Today is day 1 of week 8, she’s got 14-16 days left. If I chopped her down today, she’d be my most successful run. I’ve been doing some funky things with this girl. The most I’ve ever given her is 3.8g/gal of MC. Initially I started with 3g/gal and 20ml/gal of Terpinator. This last feed, she got 5ml/gal of protekt (for the increased silica), 10 ml/gal of Terpinator (lowered because the protekt is mostly potash as well), and 4g/gal of MC. just so we’re all clear, I’ve got V2 of MC.
You might ask why I’m going this bizarre route. I’ve tried to run the star pupil on just 5-6g Mc/gal and she hates the ratio of N. So my approach this time has been to keep the N fert low, and go with a bloom booster (potash). I probably should’ve done silica the whole way through flower to be honest. It only dawned on me the other day when I was listening to a video on YouTube that my medium is pretty void of Si.
Anyhow, check ‘er out. I’m quite proud

thanks MrS. proper nutrition and proper training are powerful things. That plant literally had one node on each branch when she got flipped. I didn’t have to remove anything after that.

Thanks DAB! My previous star pupils would sometimes give a hint of berry or grape, Im hoping this one has louder fruit notes

The buds in the fridge are still looking quite moist. The tester I quick dried put me on my ass. I can’t wait to see how it comes out after a few months in jar

Well everyone, it’s been a while since I updated my journal. I chopped the Star Pupil on day 59, which was about 5 days ago. The buds nwere huge and very easy to trim. I wanted to get a taste of a bit earlier harvest on the SP. that’s why I went for end of week 8.
I’ve also got an update on the sour Bubba. She’s Building buds nicely as she comes to the start of week 8. She’s got about 4 more weeks to go. Sorry for the pink
Her foliage has turned very purple. I think the lights probably driving her too hard for what she can pull from the soil. Either way she smells great and her buds are fairly dense, she’ll be some great smoke I’m sure.
