Whats up otter!
yeah absolutely. When you use bubblebags, you separate the trichome heads from everything else right? After that you want to use heat and pressure to knead the hash, pressing the trichome heads together, pooling the oils. I use a wine bottle filled with boiling water, but you can use an iron or whatever else heats up and can be used to apply pressure.
Well once you’ve got everything nicely dried, you dump your pile of kief on to parchment paper or thick plastic. Fold the parchment over, and press it with the hot wine bottle. It’ll start to stick together more and become soft and pliable (and sticky). Once it’s flat, open the paper up and fold it back on itself 2x so it’s a little ball again. Keep doing that for like 20 minutes... your goal is to no longer see grainy-ness. It should looks smooth and shiny. Properly pressing the kief will allow oils to actually break down the trichome membranes and other contaminants that may be present. It will improve in quality over time as well, like wine.
