Chef De Green Does It All: Reveg, Clones, Autos & Photos

If you get the bigger paper bags, you can wet trim your plants and put 60g wet in each bag. You can stack up those bags in the fridge and all the buds will be dry enough to jar in 2 weeks.. also each bag will yield around a half oz, so you can kind of estimate your yield.
Chef, I am not an expert at anything cannabis growing related. Suggesting bigger bags to put more in I suspect could increase chances of mold during the drying process. Regular size lunch bags with 28 grams in them and lay the bags on their side flat to increase the surface area exposure to air. Doing this four bags will give you about an ounce of dried buds. Again, this is just my opinion and what has worked best for me for about 18 months of low and slow bud drying.

I did the same thing, but I don’t think larger bags and more buds would cause any problems. The resulting air to bud ratio is the same. I just suggested that to PC cause he’s got 89sqft of canopy space

Here’s a nugget of the cookies n chem I just harvested. after 2 weeks of fridge time in paper bags, it’s exactly 62% rH in jar.
Yummy.... That Bud is so covered in frost even after a cure. :high-five: Now for your smoke report on the cookies and chem

Here’s a fun update.

I ran the bubble bags, froze and grated the results.. then i filled a bottle with boiling water and pressed it into hash. Heres my first attempt. It’s only a couple grams but it’s definitely full melt.

Apart from that, the star pupil is day 42 and she’s looking insane. Fattest SP nugs I’ve produced already, and she’s got another 21 days. I’ve been giving her fresh water twice between feeds, she’s not very nutrient hungry at all.

Whats up otter!

yeah absolutely. When you use bubblebags, you separate the trichome heads from everything else right? After that you want to use heat and pressure to knead the hash, pressing the trichome heads together, pooling the oils. I use a wine bottle filled with boiling water, but you can use an iron or whatever else heats up and can be used to apply pressure.

Well once you’ve got everything nicely dried, you dump your pile of kief on to parchment paper or thick plastic. Fold the parchment over, and press it with the hot wine bottle. It’ll start to stick together more and become soft and pliable (and sticky). Once it’s flat, open the paper up and fold it back on itself 2x so it’s a little ball again. Keep doing that for like 20 minutes... your goal is to no longer see grainy-ness. It should looks smooth and shiny. Properly pressing the kief will allow oils to actually break down the trichome membranes and other contaminants that may be present. It will improve in quality over time as well, like wine.
