Chef De Green Does It All: Reveg, Clones, Autos & Photos

Yeah @beez0404 , I think if I would’ve done 20/4 or 24/0 she probably would’ve kicked back into veg a little quicker.. but 18/6 worked just fine. That star pupil was the first plant I ever tried to reveg.
Last harvest she yielded about 45g. I wouldn’t be surprised if she yields more than double this flower run cause I only let her grow out to like 7-8 nodes the first time I flipped her. Now she’s got 9-10 big tops. I’m expecting closer to 100-120g

Don't count your chickens before they hatch. Yesterday my Peyote Wi-Fi had 12 branches. Eight up to or near the canopy and four about 6-8" below the canopy. She now has 8 branches total and I am expecting as much if not more weight then if I had left those other four branches on the plant. The plant can now devote 100% of it's energy into those 8 branches and not feeding smaller, larfy buds that I really don't want to trim anyway. I believe the quality goes up the less brances/buds a plant is trying to feed

I just mean, I didn’t even let her get fully matured before I flipped her. She was just a dinky little 3-4 week old girl before she went into flower. She could’ve done with more veg time. This time she’s had all the veg time in the world, so I’m expecting closer to my typical 1 plant yield of 4oz

Get her into a 5-7 gallon pot and see what you can pull.

You know I think I might Go for a 5 Gal fabric pot as her final. She’s in the 3 gallon now and she’s starting to drain all her moisture in 3-4 days. So she’s got a couple weeks before she’d need to go up. I just need to control her height though, she can’t grow upwards anymore. She needs to grow outwards or be flipped.

You could up-pot her and flip her the same day.

update December 30, 2019

Okay well, it’s been quite some time since I did an update, just over a week I think. Lots of stuff is going on.

firstly, my QPaxTDa had some issues that I’m pretty sure were my fault. I don’t typically need to ph my veg nutrients because they just naturally fall between 6.2-6.4. Well, I fed her flowering nutes and didn’t ph. I’m pretty sure I locked out the Ca.... I fed her again a couple of days later making sure to ph to exactly 6.3. I think the lock out has run its course and we’re back to normal.

Next is the SP. I took her out of her bag and gave her 3 extra inches of fresh soil. She’s really looking good now.

now the CnC. The three clones I kept are doing great. I super cropped the two big ones and now they’re looking really nice and branchy. I’m probably going to go up to 3 gal fabrics for them. The small girl I’m gonna just leave in the 1 gal when I flower her. I plan to take a cutting of one of the big girls just to keep the strain around.

now the NL. she’s a freaking beast. She’s starting to dry out in 48-60 hours, so she’s probably only got one more wet cycle before I up pot her to 5 gallons. Directly following this photo I adjusted all of her ties and super cropped the top in the very center.

Now my DDa girl. She’s stretched a lot over the last week. She’s also starting to make bud sights, all of which are turning purple. She seems to be unhappy about something though.. My initial reaction was N abundance, so I gave her plain tap water, ph’d to 6.3 and aerate for 3 hours. She looks a little better today. Either way she’s still growing so I’ll be happy to give her a smoke.

last thing,
I set myself up a little vegging box so that I can flip my tent and still have a space for my small girls like my clones and my Sour Bubba. I’m probably gonna have to get creative with the training though, to get the girls to the size I want them before they go into the flower tent. It’s okay though, it’s really gonna be nice to have the space. I think they’ll be able grow in there in 3 gallon pots, like the QPaxTDa on the left.. I’ll just have to LST to keep them low.

That’s a wrap folks. I’m thinking we’re less than a week away from flip. It’ll be dependent upon the NL. Next time she dries out I’ll up her to a 5 gallon pot and set the lights to 12/12.

Thanks for checking in
:meatballs:

Absolutely. And the four cuttings I’ve taken from her are just as vigorous. They rooted in less than a week and doubled in size the following 10 days. I only kept 1 for myself, but my buddy who has them is stoked.

I like your homemade vegging area. It will do the job and that's all you need from it. I'm really liking how the Star Pupil is shaping up. Re-vegging I've never done or had considered doing until just recently. I harvested a "step-child" plant and hand plucked all the buds off one branch leaving the leaves in place. I'm trying to see if I can get that to re-veg.

Looking like you're going to at least get a nice sample off the QPA X TDA. Enough to be able to tell if it's one you want to run again. Your DDA is just being fussy I'm thinking and will hopefully snap out of that little funk.

That Sensi Northern Lights just keeps looking nicer and nicer. And you've not even seen the good sized rock hard nuggets she'll give you.

Good Job! :goodjob:

You know Beez I’m tired of calling her QPaxTDa.. you should name that cross! She smells of something rotten and orange peel.

Yeah the NL is now putting out staggered nodes... just telling me she ready.

the picture of the veg area wasn’t that great. I took another one to show the passive intake and the pc fan i wired to be an exhaust. I’m debating whether or not to line it with Mylar..which I’ve already got. Also theres the sour bubba. my cat tried to eat her... thus the damage.. but she’s coming along great, I’d say she officially in veg. I gave her 700ppm yesterday.

I'll be watching that Sour Bubba. Looking forward to you reversing one of her clones for some S1 seeds.

yeah I think she’ll be my first reversal project.. assuming of course that I love her flowers as much as I think I will.

also, I decided to just go ahead and put the two cookies n chem girls in 3 gallon fabrics and the Northern Lights into a 5 gallon fabric. I’ll give them a wet/dry cycle in their new pots then flip them to 12/12.

Have a great New Year,Chef!

Your veg box looks strangely familiar.... :) I like that light mounting idea-keeps the heat out of the box, too!

I did it that way because of you and... another journal I saw with Lights outside the box.. I think @Amadeus Forzin has his little boxes with the lights on the outside. It’s a great configuration!

happy new year carcass! I hope you and your loved ones have an excellent 2020!

So uh, I’ve decided I’m too nervous about height to let the NL go another dry cycle, so I’ll be flipping the tent tonight. She’s gonna be by far my biggest plant ever.. she’s in her 5 gallon pot, watered in and tied down.
