Cause She's A Brix House - Noob's OG Kush & Carnival In DBHBB

Wow! Walked right into a good one here.

Hey Canna! Since I'm smoking weed from my guy, it's smoking... Ok. Can't wait to taste the labors of my garden. I'm thinking it will taste better ;)

DBHBB produce doesn't even make me cough...no matter how big the puff! It's truly the smoothest weed I've ever smoked ! Compared to Hydro grown weed , there really is no comparison!:thumb::circle-of-love:

Mornin' Noob. Just out strolling and your door was open. :hugs::hugs::hugs:

Catch you later. :ciao:

Duggan, these plants look so freakin healthy. It's amazing how quickly they have taken to this soil. I just topped all 4 of them hardcore and they bounced back so quickly. They are already back to exploding right now. I think I will be spraying them with Brix tonight. Don't you think they are ready Duggs? Then, my plan is to supercrop them later in the week because they will be in here for at least another 3 to 4 weeks when I harvest my two Cindys. Then I will throw the OG Kush in the flower tent. They finish quickly like the Cindys. Then I can have a little bit of a rotation going so I won't be harvesting a bunch of plants at once.

I took some pictures last night.

*GASP!* They're beautiful Noob. I can feel Duggan smiling like a butcher's dog. :laughtwo:

Sue, I'm glad I have him helping me. Growing cannabis has always been grown a certain way in my mind. I always think of them like they need to be fed. Duggan is trying to get that mentality out of my brain. I've finally been able to compare it with something in my outside garden. I have a raised bed of tomatoes that are being fed by a compost bin in the corner. There are worms and kitchen waste and old soil and plants in that bin that has been breaking down since February. All I have to do is water the tomatoes and add some occasional worm castings or guano. The compost bin takes care of the rest. The rest of my beds have to be top dressed and given tea. I hope I'm making the right connection here. Someone chime in if I'm not. :)

Good morning Sue :hugs:

Cheers everyone

Noob,...brotha....they are exploding! Very nice color and posture. They appear to be larger than i pictured...:wood:
Yes, they are ready bud, when they dry out, give them a Drench of GE , and Tea but according to instructions....no more. You can start alternating sprays as long as you are SCing and or topping. After that drop the stress and only spray with Brix, full strength , at one week to ten day intervals. How long till flip Noob....they will quickly overpower that space....your gonna have a blast ! Fantastic job so far with your first DBHBB grow! Cheers eh!:thumb::high-five:

[Thanks guys. It's the soil. I'm just following directions the best I can. I'm going to try to just let these plants do their thing this grow. I'm just going to top and supercrop. I hope I can get some harvest under my belt like you guys so I can start smoking my own stuff.

Cheers

Every single HB Kit grower on this site has said those exact words when running our initial grows with the kit. :laughtwo: It's so true though. You come into it with some expectation and the plants just blow your mind with how vigoriously they take to the medium and how effortless it can be to grow them.

Duggan, I wasn't aware that there was a point when you switched to only Brix. At what point do you typically do this? I was under the impression that it was supposed to be alternated to the end.

Thanks Duggan! I picked them up and they are almost ready. I will give them some H2O tomorrow morning and I will spray destress after they take a nap. Then I will Brix spray them tomorrow. I am thinking I will have room in the tent in 20-25 days from today. Then I will move the two OG Kush girls in flower shortly after. Then, when the NL finishes, I will move the Carnivals in to the flower tent.

So far, it feels like I am just watching them. It's that simple. Crazy.

Sue, the way he described it to me was that I only need the destress when the are stressed out. I'm stressing them by torturing the crap out of them from topping and SCing. I plan to stop training them in flower so I shouldn't need the destress because the soil, drenching, and Brix spray will take care of it. Is that right Duggan?

I'll have to look through my notes, but I definately recall Graytail explaining to me the reasoning behind continuing to alternate them. When I find it I'll PM you with it.

Yeah, the thing is, DeStress is formulated to work with Roots and Transplant. The DeStress foliar signals the plant to produce root exudates, and those feed bacteria that use the micro-minerals in Roots and the nutrients in Transplant.

It certainly isn't necessary if the plants look great, but it remains part of the nutrient routine - don't think in terms of stopping it, just maybe don't bother with it if they look great. :cheesygrinsmiley:

In 2nd and 3rd run soil with lots of recycled humus, the soil can get hot enough that DeStress is pushing it too hard, though.

I've always kept spraying DeStress all though bloom, every 7-10 days.

:Namaste:

Thank you Graytail. I figured that'd catch your eye. :battingeyelashes:
