Cause She's A Brix House - Noob's OG Kush & Carnival In DBHBB

Hey Noob and friends, hope everyone had (is having) a great weekend. Noob your girls look like they should, very nice full deep greens with lighter shades coming in ...nice, good leaf posture and shine. I'de say the brix is very respectable on these, prolly mid to high teens.
How far from dirt is canopy top and is it pretty even bud. When you flip em it's advantageous to have all the tops within a couple inches if ya can, it makes the best use of space with our smaller grows. remember to follow directions with the sprays....every week to ten days for both of them....so two sprays a week , one of each is plenty. Anyhow Noob, your enviro is the envy of many....it's almost perfect. Good job my friend and ....brotha!:high-five:

Thanks Duggan. Means a lot. I have been waiting a couple of days in between sprays. I hope that's ok. I can't see why it would hurt it. If I need to change it up, please let me know.

I would say my girls are around 2ft tall right now. Yeesh! But there are a butt load of tops all over the tops of these plants right now. I'm controlling the capopy the best I can in this space. I'm hoping to fill my 4x4 tent with a sea of green by either scroging all 4 plants or by tying down the branches to widen them out when they get in flower. I'm open to suggestions.

Cheers Duggs hope you have a great weekend

Mornin Noob,....ya with the sprays, remember bud don't over doo them OK. Every week to ten days is lots and ya ,waiting a few days between them is good. don't worry about filling your space....you will, no probs. As soon as they start to "cluster " you will soon see that your space will be "tight". Have a great day Noob and friends!:circle-of-love:

I'm keeping track of the sprays on my whiteboard. I need to SC again but I'm waiting another few days after I water and then I will SC and spray Destress. These 7 gallon pots are holding the water a lot better than I thought with them being cloth. My next drink should be just a 1/4 trans water, correct? They should be in the closet for another 16-20 days. Then I'm moving the OGK in while the Cindys dry. The Carnival will stay in the closet until the NL finishes. Hope you have a relaxing week off Duggs!

Cheers

Ok Duggan. I'm thinking I will only be watering two more times before going into flower. I'm worried I didn't train the plants well enough to hold the buds. what do you do to make sure your branches are strong enough? The reason I'm asking is because I'm having to hold my girls in flower up because the weight is too much for the branches. Thanks for your help Duggan.

Cheers

Good afternoon Noob. It's always nice to see Duggan so engaged with this grow. Warms my heart to watch members bond over growing superior cannabis.

:Love: :hugs::hugs::hugs: :Love:

I'll let you get the kinks worked out this run before I fire up the high brix in our room. Learning stuff everyday.

:reading420magazine:

I don't blame you Nis. If I were you, I would get doc bud or Duggan or one of the guys that's killing it in this soil to help walk you through the process. I'm trying my best to give you guys all the info I can on my experience. I'm still a noob though, so I still make mistakes. (My first water was with tap water). If I didn't have Duggan, I would have kept using it and wondering why something was wrong with my plants. Thanks Duggs!

Thanks for supporting me Nis!!

Cheers

Good afternoon Sue! :hugs: I just got in from putting up a fence around my outside garden because my dogs like laying under my tomato plants when it hits 95. It's a balmy 78 degrees right now so it was a perfect time to put in some work.

Yeah, Duggs is the shit Sue! He rocks

Cheers sweetie

Morning Noob, wow, sleeping in is nice eh....:tokin:.
I've been so busy with my two boys here this week, holy crap ! My mag time has suffered and i'm way behind in answering posts and stuff.
Ok bud, you are doing awesome Noob, don't worry too much about supporting the branches. Here's what to do to get ready for it OK. first off, they will only get THAT heavy during the last two / three weeks of blooming OK.What you can do to make life way easy later on is to get some stakes (you know those green plastic one's you can buy), about 4 feet long,...and fasten them all the way around your pot , use about 5-8 stakes OK. I know you have soft pots , so you'll have to fasten them all around the bottom some how , then take a few of them and put them across, at the top to brace them together, know how i mean bud. it's a bit of a hassle to prep your pots this way but lemmy tell ya...when it comes time, you will be smiling if and when they need support . Please take this time now and think of a way like this or just do it this way before you have to hit the "panic" button. If you don't like the "stake ' method for some reason , then you will have to have lots of things "up top" to tie pipe cleaners to or strings ...got it . It looks like the only concern right now is how to manage the crazy growth eh....yeepa , yeepa! keep SCing any leaders that wanna run away OK, this will really help in keeping the canopy even....this is very important Noob as it will make it so much easier managing things later on.this Scing can be done right into the "stretch" as well OK. Don't let ANY leaders get away from the pack . lets get and keep it nice and even , when ya look across the canopy. This is a skill Noob....get good at it!!! As well as things are going now,....next grow you will have a good handle on things and won't seem so stressful. It really is the easiest and most reliable growing method out there....bar none ! cheers pal!

Morning Duggan. Glad you are making memories with your boys. That's more important than anything we could ever buy them.

I have some bamboo stakes that I'm using for one of my girls in the flower tent. I put the stakes in the soil but my pots are plastic in the flower tent. So, I don't know if it will work the same way. I would think it would though. We shall see. I love the idea of the trellis. I will use it on my girl in flower.
I've been kicking around the idea of using tomato cages to keep the plants trained. I've seen another grower using them and he grows huge ass buds. Knowing me, I will probably just try it on one plant just to see.

Here's to the rest of your week Duggs!

Cheers

Ya Noob, tomato cages will work for ya...you might need the big ones though and that way they will work right to the end with your big girls. you can always cut them down if ya have to. Your tuned in really good to your plants , so this grow will continue to go well! cheers Noob!

Tomato cages work great! :thumb:
