Carnival: A Community Grow Experience

Happy Easter to you all, suggest you take an extra few pinches of Carnival.
I still have to get around to planting my remaining seed I will take more care this time, I am so keen to try this super happy plant.

I have been spending too much time fussing with Freak White Widow sitting outside in white shade cloth tunnel enjoying our Autumn sunshine, nearly ready just waiting for 30/70 trichroms cool nights are slowing it down I think.

Will attempt to post todays picture of it, reason I call it freak is due to it starting out as a 3cm clone. 420 Magazine 420 Magazine Sorry for triple post but did try to post 3 different pics, can anyone help

Harvest @ 9,5 weeks.
That girls was bigger than expected. :)

She looks delightful Rad. Hehe, you're gonna be so pleased with this plant. I'm looking forward to hearing what the wife thinks of it.

Good grief Darkgrow!!! Any guess on expected final weight? Every one of us admiring these shots are wishing in the back of our heads that we'd taken the pictures. Do you enjoy this strain yourself or grow for others?

Some more of my Carnival. I'm making some bho tomorrow with my last Carnival harvest. Very exciting

Cheers
RoorRip

How did the BHO extraction go? This is one strain I'd love to try as a concentrate.

Yes sir. I will veg them another 3 weeks at the very least.

We are soooo looking forward to you slipping another Carnival into flower. :slide:

I have pictures of my own. She's now at Day 46 and just had her first Energy drench. She's just what I'd hoped for when I planted the seed. Her recent topping left 12 potential tops, perfect for my tent size. The flowering tent opens up this week and she gets to veg another month before I flip her.

RedDragon, this means ours will be going through flowering simultaneously. :woohoo:

All tucked away again. :cheesygrinsmiley:

This one spits at me when I water her. I don't know what's making her unhappy.

IMG_586812.JPG

Can anyone offer insight as to why her leaves look like this? They started looking like this before I moved her to the closet. It improved slightly, but now it's happening again. I'm open to any suggestion. She's sending out conflicting messages. She feels happy, but her leaves tell another story.

She's due to get a 7 gallon pot tomorrow. This may solve the dilemma, if one exists. It sure will feel nice to have a decade of growing behind me. All the reading doesn't compare to experience.

Hmmmm...... That's what Cajun keeps telling me about the med threads. Apples and oranges. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Can anyone help her out?

I am going to through out a newbie comment. Please take no offense, if it's foolish... It looks like either overwatering symptoms - which could be poorly drained soil - or perhaps nitrogen toxicity. I believe the curling has to down with respiration being affected. Same soil? Same watering schedule? Same pots? Temp and humidity the same? Root damage could the culprit.

Is this using Doc Bud's Kit? If so , one could post it on his Q & A forum - see what they have to say.

I'll do that tomorrow Rad. I'm kind of their bastard child, so I never think to go there until things are desperate. It didn't help me with my last problem, but that shouldn't stop me from asking again. Thanks for the reminder. :hugs:

Here are a couple pics of my latest clone. She is almost 8 weeks veg. She will move to flower on Sunday. :circle-of-love::peace:

:woohoo: Another Carnival in flower. Dave, do you process any of yours into CCO, or do you, like me, depend mostly on infused oils? I'm curious as to the pull from a Carnival. I haven't yet harvested enough to play with a run.

Mostly infused oils right now. One or two more harvests (another month or so) and I am hoping to have enough to "play with". I just need to make sure I have enough meds for the people I help. :circle-of-love::peace:

Just harvested my first carnival. Thanks so much sweet sue!! Awesome strain east to grow I see why everyone falls in love with it. Will be keeping on in my garden!!

:woohoo: Another Carnival hanging! :yahoo: Oh Jgrowlove, wait until you do that first smoke of fresh-dried. Then you'll really understand. :laughtwo: I'm so glad Graytail grew his and inspired me to do my first one. I don't think I'll ever be able to take her out of the rotation. Do yourself a favor and dry some in the refrigerator. Here's a link to my post about it. I learned this from DrZiggy and tried it out for the first time with my last Carnival harvest. I wish I'd done the entire harvest like this.

DrZiggy's Low and Slow drying technique Highly recommended!

Thanks for the link on slow drying. What's the best way to save your sugar leaves and fan leaves to use later on. Fridge them freeze them or dry them like the buds?

I hadn't considered doing leaves as well, but I'd think that'd work, though it may be a space challenge. Something to consider. I freeze mine for future use in oils or for juicing. I may try some leaves next time I trim a plant.

Sugar leaves don't get removed from my plants. I grow for me and I don't need bag appeal with my buds. Every part of the plant has trichomes, most only one cell high. The plants an oil factory. :laughtwo: You ever look at how many trichomes are on the underside of the sugar leaves? That's reputed to be some of the most potent oils.

Good morning Sue and all. I just moved my second carnival into flower. They are 2 weeks apart. I do trim the sugar leaves (not for bag appeal) but because it is my understanding that smoking them makes the bud harsher. That being said, it all goes into my coconut or grapeseed oil infusions. I also chop up the stems from recently chopped plants and add that to the mix too. IT all makes very potent infused oils. :circle-of-love::peace:
