Thanks, Azi- I've thought about keeping them in the fridge- but, so far, the sock drawer does a pretty good job
That particular seed popped a tail out in less than 10 hours...coincidence?

Last night, I noticed the second set of leaves were getting real close to the walls, so it's about time to
let her outa there...
Free at last!- she's been busy for the last 6 days...
It runs real humid in there, but she doesn't care..
The leaves will straighten out in a few hours- they were against the walls this morning, so they're still bent a little..
Figured I should introduce Oinky to her new SIPmate....(he squealed his approval)
In case you're wondering what those 2 plastic tabs are for- those hold the outer cup just far enough from the inner cup to allow air to get to it, and allows watering without removing the lamp - I just trickle the water down between the cups with that nasal spray bottle...
and fill the rez to apx 1/4" below the inner cup. I only had to fill it once, on Saturday...
all those roots sayshe's we're pretty happy about the whole situation... 
So, now it's time to get off my butt and get the 4 gallon SIP ready...
Gonna have to spoil the party for these guys...
And there ya go!

Between the tabs and the light and the coaster and the nasal watering system you have really thought of everything! Growth looks great and Oinky looks ready to cheer on another.

Thank You, Shed..I hope she keeps it up for awhile...ya just never know with autos..
I usually chuck it in the green waste, but this time, I think I'm going to have to re-use a bit of it- those big bales of ProMix last a long time, but they don't last forever...I should of checked my "stock"a few weeks ago...
That's what I've heard.
Not sure if any of those bugs have a larvae stage in the dirt so you might want to figure a way to sterilize it before you reuse it since it's not LOS anyway.

Damn- I never thought of that!
I've got a lot of the soil that I used in the outdoor SIP, but that stuff is crap....doesn't wick worth a damn....I wouldn't even use that stuff for kitty litter..
I just checked, looks like about 3 gal. of ProMix...so I guess the fourth gallon is going to be Miracle Gro potting soil...it's the organic stuff, so no (or very little) extra nutes..

I agree with Shed. You got everything covered with that gadget. Hell, you even wrote "water" on the nasal spray bottle!

Thanks, Stone- she's plant #5 to get started in there, so I guess I have to keep using that using that ugly thing..
The other one has nicotine(bug) spray in it- didn't want to mix them up
Fortunately, there was a smidge more ProMix HP than I thought...going to order another bale today- that one lasted 2.5 years...
That's not a bad idea, though.

Yesterday was transplant day for the 10 day old Queen G auto...
She'll be growing in these- @Grand Daddy Black told me about these about a year ago, so I'm
finally going to give them a try..
First, I needed to get the 4 gallon SIP ready- nice roots on the ABBxW carcass- the dark roots were in the water- they're dark from the Myco I use, which turns the water brown.
They're not supposed to grow into the water, but it evidently doesn't hurt anything..the 3 liter rez held less than a pint by harvest time...
that was easy...
Now, I put her ProMix HP, 4 Tbsp. Grow Dots, and half a gallon of water in this old cement mixer, and roll it around for awhile...mixes the soil and nutes up real nice..this also starts the Grow Dot clock...
I thought I didn't have enough ProMix for this grow, but I ended up having exactly 4 gallons of it ...
So now she's here..this was yesterday afternoon..
And today- looks like she took the transplant pretty well...hard to tell from the pic, but she's just under 2 inches tall
One last thing- when I was sticking the ABWa carcass in the green waste, I noticed she's been outside long enough to make her start to reveg...which is only odd because she's an auto..
I cut out that little section of branch and stuck it in the SIP with the Queen G auto...because you never know...
And that's the happenings here..
