Carcass' $150 Low Budget Grow 2019

You’ll have them looking like that in no time, Tra!

These look great, kind of strange pheno inside. I wouldn’t even believe it was the same stuff if it wasn’t for all the 3s on her. Boo has that survivor one with giant fan leaves, really cool to watch as well.

I’m watching your harvest dates cause I’m about a week behind you.
Looking forward to tasting that one day!
I know this has been said over and over but fuck it’s good to have you back!

Oiii should I name you as my PNW Seed Fairy? Or do you wanna stay a fairy?

Looking stellar Carcass!

You got a good run out of your West Coast Dots! :Rasta:

I appreciate that!
And as for the other stuff, we will talk more about that here when I’m doing it legitimately. For now I appreciate everyone’s tests of the early prototypes.

Thanks, GDB- yeah, and they're crapping out right on time..I'm ready for it, though. (I think I am, anyhow..)

Hey, I'll be your guinea pig anytime!
Wowza! I'm sure those skinny buds will be getting their Popeye on soon, but don't forget to turn the light back up. :thumb:
They're getting a little more girthy every day!....of course I forgot to turn the light back up..but only for an hour or so...last time it was down for about 4 hours.. 🤪
Outside Wookies is just killer!
My "nothin' but buds" prediction seems to be coming true!

Happy Monday, folks- How about a little Update on my 2 Wookiees autos?

Wookiee#1 is 96 days old, in her SIP for 68 days, and she's been flowering for apx. 32 days now.
As expected, the Grow Dots ran out of steam a week or so ago, but the @Plagron Green Sensation(4ml) and Purpinator(10ml.) are keeping both plants fairly happy- this one's a bit paler than I'd like, but she's not yellow (yet) so, I'll take it..some of the lower leaves are yellow, but I think that's probably normal- not much light gets down there...

W1-1.jpg

Both plants are drinking a bit more than half a gallon a day, down from a gallon in veg...(?)

W1-2.jpg

She's filling in slowly...
still mostly 19" tall...

W1-4.jpg

One of her skinny buds...
W1-5.jpg

And, the 86 day old outdoor Wookiee#2..a little different pheno than her sister in the box..
She's also been in her SIP for 68 days (and loving it!) ...Flowering for apx 45 days.
W2-1.jpg

She never did do any stretching, so she's still 8" tall...the Grow Dots running out of gas don't seem to have affected her at all, she's got maybe 1 or 2 yellow leaves..They both drink from the same jug, so she's getting the supplements too, whether she needs 'em or not..:cheesygrinsmiley:
W2-1b.jpg

Those buds aren't real long, but they're pretty fat...and there's a bunch of 'em 🙂
W2-1a.jpg

A closer look- she's about a week from being done, just waiting on some amber in the right places...
W2-9.jpg

The high humidity yesterday got her pm (powdery mildew) active again, so she'll get sprayed this evening with a .5% citric acid solution- I'd do it right now, but it's too damn hot out there..🤬
W2-8.jpg

And that's about all for this update....
Thank You for looking, I appreciate the support..❤️
and have a great week..:peace:

Two lookers Carcass! The SIPs have served you well.

What's the NPK of the Green Sensation?

Two lookers Carcass! The SIPs have served you well.
Thank You, GDB! So far they are gettin' it done pretty well... the ease of watering is a big plus, too..

The Green Sensation is 0-8-9...it's pricey stuff, so if you're thinking of buying some, I want to mention that
Purpinator (0-2-4) seems to do a better job- takes 3 times as much of it, but it seems to do more for the plant. Even at 3x, it's still cheaper than the GS...👍

You got two beauties there!
Thanks, T!
And they're about as different as sisters can be...The pretty one indoors, and the
odd looking one outdoors 😁

The next gen F3 Wookiees should be a bit more consistent- you seem to attract the strange ones ! Good to see a few extremes though, I’ve never had one that short, mine range from average to maxing out my tent vertically. Sometimes they do a really long continuous stretch, I was thinking it might be the superthrive but the one I’m currently growing got the superthrive and had a normal short stretch (seems the WC leaning plants just stretch faster) and yours must have a big dose of the ruderalis gene. I’m here in CA at the moment and I can tell with your humidity why that PM crept back in. Glad she’s almost done. Love those fatty buds!

I’ve never had one that short,
I think it's mostly my fault- I was training her while she was stretching, and when she got where I wanted her, the stretch was done. Although- I think she's going set a personal record for yield from an 8" plant :cheesygrinsmiley:

Love those fatty buds!
I was going for morbidly obese....🤪

Nice plants man :thumb:
What are the silver cards on a 45 degree angle taped to tent wall under plants?
Nice chunky buds :drool::passitleft:

Another satisfied SIPper, suhweet! You left the hooks on that girl during 'stretch' didn't you? Easy to do with an Auto. I've loved using Carhooks m8, just love them. Thank you so much for pushing them out there. In the rectangular tote frame SIPs I have so much real estate for plunging in more Carhooks all the time. One of the best parts of my day, for reals! However, I once forgot to 'release the hounds' and pull the hooks during stretch - with similar results to yourself, but mine was a photoperiod so it really was an embarrassing grower mistake! OK, truthfully, it takes a lot more to ruffle these feathers. My plants and my ego haven't even met, let alone become co-dependents! Of course, in the veggie garden SIPs I have to use tomato cages and bamboo, but for my pref. setup (I grow to 8 nodules, top it, remove the bottom two nodules, then orchestrate the remaining 8 branches with Carhooks) for canna , I'm not sure I could pull it off with anything but Carhooks. Basically a double-quad setup, that I owe to Carhooks!

And it's so cool the way those lower leaves in the box match the orange tape on the walls. You always have such colorful grows. :)
Thanks, Shed!- Last week- purple, this week- orange...next week? I hope not, but probably yellow..(ish).

Oh yeah, and plenty of time for old skinny-buds to plump up for the slaughter!
Yeah, she'll get there eventually- her buds just look sooo skinny to me after looking at W2's tennis ball sized nugs...👀

Welcome to my Journal, Absorber!
Those are just my feeble attempt at getting a little light down to the bottom leaves- didn't help, though- most of them died and fell off last week..:)

What's the NPK of that Mountain Dew!?!?
Thanks, VG! -
How much Nitrogen is there in way too much sugar?🙂
I use AriZona tea.
Well, it figures you'd need the tall cans...

Thanks, RD!
Glad you like them! They really do make the training easier, so more do-able...:thanks:
You left the hooks on that girl during 'stretch' didn't you?
I sure did! - but by the time she reached the edge of the pot, the stretch was over..
you win some, you lose some with autos...although, this one seems to be making the best of her "short" situation...👍
