Carcass' $150 Low Budget Grow 2019

Thanks so much, VG- luckily, when she stopped growing "up", she kept growing "out"! :cheesygrinsmiley:

Thank You, Trala! She really does have the "sparkle factor"💎

I don't usually save the trimmins, but everything I trimmed off is trichome encrusted...so I'll be de-kiefing" that trim in a week or so...:Rasta:

I reckon you should try and get a pic with a block coloured background, like a dark sheet in something. That’s a photo of the month contender.

Thanks,T! - that's mighty nice of you to say...I'll have to wait till October to enter though, because June PhotM.... :)

Congrats on your Wookiee harvest Carcass! Those buds look stunning. Makin my bean droppin hand twitch a lil!

exhausting it through a charcoal filter will eliminate about 98% of the smell
You answered before I could even ask :Namaste:
I just got one of those for our house, for the fire smoke. It’s been a pretty helpful addition this year.

Well alrighty then...Monday is here, and so is my Update on Wookiees auto #1!-
She's 103 days old, been in her SIP for 75 days, and flowering for 39 days(apx.)

As you can see, I haven't gotten a handle on the yellowing yet, although she is actually a little greener than she appears in the pics....not very much greener, but a little bit...🤏:)

The SaugaView®:
W1-1.jpg

She's 19" tall and 19" from the light, which is set to 217watts = 53k lux @ the canopy.
W1-2.jpg

I added a gram of MC to her feed yesterday to try and slow down the yellowing- nothing else is working, so I figured a little MC couldn't hurt...
If that doesn't work (and I'm pretty sure it won't) I'm going to make up a GrowDot "extract" to add to the rez...(*pic at end of update)

She's putting on a little weight- the yellowing leaves aren't affecting her bud development yet..
W1-4.jpg

I spilled runoff water in the box, so I had to pull her out to clean it up..good time for a silhouette shot...
W1-5.jpg

A few of her buds-

2 more...😜

And, a peek at Wookiee #2, in the drying box since Saturday afternoon, probably 4 or 5 days to go...
W2-10.jpg

*Here's what I mean by Grow Dot extract:
The Dots don't dissolve in water, but they do release nutes through their "skin" when they get wet, so I'll use that water to add to her feed. (1 Tbsp/gallon)
I'm thinking I can probably get 2 or 3 applications out of each half teaspoon of Dots, but at this point, I'm just guessing...
W2-2.jpg

This will be the last thing I do to try and stop her yellowing...it's actually getting a bit late in the game to try and correct anything..although, fixing the leaves so they don't all fall off would still be nice...

She's in a 3 gallon SIP, and there's a 1 gallon air chamber in there, so she's actually growing in just 2 gallons of soil...maybe she's root bound? that would explain why she's not responding to "treatment"🤔

And there it is!
Thank You for looking,
I appreciate your support..

I hope everyone has a great week!

Just 85 days from sprout to harvest- you could probably sneak one in anytime...😁
unless you get the "other" pheno..which takes considerably longer...(103 days old w/at least 3 weeks to go..)
I just got one of those for our house, for the fire smoke.
Mine is a leftover from my days in HVAC- it's amazing how much stink they can soak up...

I’m having some similar finishing issues with my Sohum. It’s so close to working all the way to the finish line. Rrr! Your Wookiee is still looking quite beautiful and should finish building those beautiful buds nicely.

That's pretty slick trying a Grow Dot extract! Hope it works for you. :)

Sorry about your issues, HH- It's frustrating- I knew the Dots would be out of gas by day 70 or so, and the last plant (ATF) responded well to the additive (Purpinator)
Not so with this one- nothing seems to matter...although, there are worse things that could happen other than some yellow leaves...
...like me ruining her by trying to fix her, for instance... 🤪

Thanks, GDB!
I'm guessing at how much to use, hopefully it's not too "hot" for her...🔥

Alright Carcass… you’ve convinced me
Ha! That was way too easy!
But you won't be sorry :)

Looks great from the belt-line up! Aren't you using a different PK booster this time
Thank You, Shed! Yeah, the important stuff is still (mostly) green (ish) :cheesygrinsmiley:

I am using different stuff- @Plagron "Green Sensation" 0-8-9 @ 4ml/gal....I just had to try it.....according to Plagron, it's the best thing since sliced bread....
Back to Purpinator from now on...

Although, Wookiee#2 did fine with the Plagron stuff...:hmmmm:

Do you think W#1 could be root bound in the 2 gallons of soil she's in?
Can they even get root bound in a SIP?
I guess I'll find out at the rootopsy....

Alright Carcass… you’ve convinced me 💗

Woohoo! I’ll be home in 2 weeks and get one started right behind ya. Can’t wait to see them go.

It's the new green.!.. in the ol' grow box... 😁
POTM contender coming right up with those colors. That timeline and yellowing is new to me as well, never had one go over 90 (my current one is getting closer)

Are you feeding this one to hit the same K number as you did with the Purp?
Maybe?...I feed 4ml/gal with the Plagron, 15ml/gal with the Purpinator...is that even close?

Oops! missed this one...
That timeline and yellowing is new to me as well, never had one go over 90
She's going to go 125 days+...way different than her sister..@ apx. 86 days...
I'm really curious how the smokes gonna be..:lot-o-toke:

Booya! :high-five: Will you make a journal?
Probably time to make a new one based around all my kids and future kids. Maybe I could hunt down a #sponsor that could get me motivated with some more modern products, I’m pretty Stone Age and simplicity is my favorite grow aid 😂 That’s the long way of saying I’m lazy. Wookiees was kind of created around that idea. Simple feeding, simple trimming, fairly methodical growing until Dad finds the wonder bean 🫘 in his

4ml/gallon of Plagron Green Sensations is 0-37-79.

15ml/gallon of Purpinator is 0-35-132.
Wow, that's a lot of K in the Purpinator!
It worked great on the last plant,though- so I maybe it's not too much?
If I match it with the Plagron, then it's too much phosphorous....
Next plant, maybe I'll try 10ml/gal of Purpinator..when the dots run out of gas...
IKR?! I’ve been wanting to start one since you started yours. It is time.
The time is definitely right! I hope she grows great for you!
That’s the long way of saying I’m lazy.
I just say it the short way anymore:rofl:
