Carcass' $150 Low Budget Grow 2019

Another week, another Monday!
Time for an Update on my pair of Wookiees autos...actually, one is a definite auto, and the indoor one may or may not be an auto, she needed a kick in the ass to get her started flowering... šŸŒ her lights are still at 14 on10 off- it's working pretty well, so I just left it that way...

Wookiee#1 is 82 days old, she's been in her SIP for 54 days, and she's been flowering for apx. 25 days..She's getting a few yellow leaves down low, but I don't think it's a problem- the ones yellowing and falling off are the older leaves, and they don't get much light down there...

w1-1.jpg

The canopy varies from 19" to 21", and there's quite a few short branches that were doing too well to remove, so I'll have to deal with some larf at harvest time...
w1-2.jpg

She'll have some fairly long buds by harvest time...she looks kind of scrawny right now though..
w1-3.jpg

One of her buds- she started getting some frost last week..
w1-4.jpg

Another one..
w1-8.jpg

And now the 72 day old Wookiee#2-, also in her SIP for 54 days- that's a 24 inch piece of tape measure on the fence behind her- so she's about 26" wide x 8.5" tall- and remarkably pest-free so far.šŸŖ³
w2-9.jpg

A different angle- quite a few chunky buds on this one...a few of her leaves are also starting to yellow, which may indicate that the Grow Dots are weakening a bit, since this one gets plenty of light everywhere..
w2-6.jpg

The buds aren't very long, but they're pretty fat, and very dense..
w2-1.jpg

She's been flowering for apx. 42 days, so she may only have a couple of weeks to go...she's already got quite a bit of amber trichomes, but only on the sugar leaves...ā±ļø
w2-4.jpg

Both of these plants each drink a gallon per day- if the yellowing continues, I may need to up the dosage
of the @Plagron "Green Sensation"(0-8-9) on both of them-although, they're at 4ml/gallon now, which is the max dose according to Plagron...šŸ¤”
w2-7.jpg

And there ya go!
Thanks for looking,
I appreciate your support...

And I hope everyone's gardens are doing fine, despite the heat..šŸ„µ
Or, if you're in Australia, then I hope they're doing well despite the cold..šŸ„¶

Both plants look stellar Carcass but that last pic is too awesome! :Rasta:

Looking awesome! Glad the caterpillars šŸ› are leaving you alone too.
My indoor Wookiees is only growing 3ā€™s and singles now, yours is an interesting pheno growing all those 5s

Beautiful carcass.
Thank You, Keith!
Looking awesome! Glad the caterpillars šŸ› are leaving you alone too.
Thanks, Son- schlepping her in to the garage every night keeps her away from the moths, - no moths, no eggs, no caterpillars....Although, all the usual pests are leaving her alone-great pest resistance, built right in...šŸ‘

Yeah, looking at them, you wouldn't think that they're sisters.. šŸ˜

I'm loving your plants! They are both looking stellar and the buds on the outdoor plant are bulking up and frosting up nicely! :welldone:

Thanks, Shed!
So nice to see the measuring flag buried in amongst the flowers!
That's actually an extended hook on that one branch that just had to get too tall- First branch I've supercropped in 2 or 3 years...I'll have the flag back in there next time...ā›³
W1-SC.jpg

the outside one is so flat I thought that you'd laid a stick across the top
All those semi-horizontal buds make that possible...kind of looks like someone sat on it...šŸ˜
Lot's of potential there Carcass!
Thanks, Stone! Wookiees is a family favorite, so the more the merrier!
They are both looking stellar
Thank You, Beez!..they're like cute little midgets compared to yours..šŸ¤..šŸŒ

Where's Boo? That's ridiculous!

Where's Boo? That's ridiculous!
It is ridiculous! who would ever sit on their plant?.......oh, wait... šŸ¤”
OK, I'm done, GDB- I'll stop mentioning that now....šŸŒ

My Wookiee#2 started to get rained on today, so she's spending a sunless day in the garage....
she's got a little powdery mildew thing going on, so I'd rather she didn't get wet...
I'll mix up some citric acid spray and spray just the affected leaves (5 or 6 of 'em)- I'll keep it off the flowers..I remember @InTheShed saying it'll turn the pistils brown, and we don't want that...
W#2- rainy day.jpg

And, the indoor Wookiee#1 is starting to show a little purple on some leaves..
W#1- touch o purple....jpg

That's all for today,
Thank You for looking!

Funny this came up today. I was just researching if it's safe to spray buds with citric acid. I didn't find anything that specifically said yes, but, I found products that have citric acid as an ingredient and they claim it can be used throughout flower... even on harvest day. no rinse required.

So, looks like I'm going to have brown pistils cause I sprayed this morning before I released the lady bugs :lot-o-toke:

I doubt anyone will say "Hey, I'm not smokin' that, it's got brown pistils"! šŸ˜

Yeah definitely not the same as spraying neem or something on the pistils. Itā€™s really just low pH water, people see the word acid and think Alien šŸ‘½
