Carcass' $150 Low Budget Grow 2019

Happy 420, everyone!
You definitely need to get high, Carcass and on the good drug not the kind your son tried.
Thanks, HashGirl- I definitely did get high, and the good drug is the only one I (safely) use anymore.
I seem to get addicted to everything else...believe me, I've done the research....
Sending you and Mrs C so many loves, your eyes will pop!
Thank you for that, HH!
so my goal was to stick to the 5-3-4 but use Terpinator for folks who are interested in boosting the K higher in flower.
That was also my first plan, but I'm re-thinking it since I got the 8-0-0 BPN Calmag yesterday...
I'm thinking of going with the GF Bloom, with about a gram of the Calmag added to the water for the Kalashnikov.
The IG got water only this morning, with half a gram of BPN Calmag added...we'll know in 4 or 5 days if that was a mistake or not...

Also sorry for being silly and telling you to take a gummy....
Nothing to be sorry about at all, Boo! ...However, I didn't eat a gummy... but I did smoke a goodly portion of Super Silver Haze...:lot-o-toke:

Since it looks like your immediate need is for more N, I think that is probably a good idea. Hopefully the CalMag will do that for you.

Hopefully the CalMag will do that for you.
I hope so too, BigD...The Kalashnikov needs water tomorrow, so I'm going to hit it with a full dose (2g)
to see if it'll green up a little before its next dose of GF Bloom nutes. TBH, I don't think anything is going to help it much, but I'll try it anyway- nothing to lose at this point...
I hope your son makes a speedy recovery.
Thanks, DAB- He's doing alright now, it actually took him 3 full days to recover...TBH, I'm glad it took awhile- it gave him some time to think about it, and hopefully decide to stay away from that crap for good...

On Monday, I mentioned that I'd removed the restraints from the Iced Grapefruit....turns out, that was not the thing to do- at least not yet...and probably never....
Soooo...yesterday, I was cleaning up in the garage a little, came across an old piece of pegboard, which
got me to thinking....should I just throw it away, or can I somehow use it in "the box"?(I do that a lot :) )
I came up with something that just might finally address the problem of tying the plant down past the edge of the pot:
Halo 1.jpg

All them holes come in pretty handy...It's a tight fit on the pot, so it's not going to slide around or fall off...
and it's not really in the way of anything- I would of made it about an inch bigger, but the pegboard scrap wasn't quite big enough for that....I think It'll work fine the way it is...I used 1/4" pegboard, but the 1/8" stuff would work just as well.
Halo 2.jpg

Probably something I'll use from now on, since my training method isn't likely to change much as long as I grow in that box!

That's all I've got today, Thanks for looking!
And have a great rest of the week!

Thanks, Shed!
Not sure it'd work very well with fabric pots, but I don't use them (yet)...so for now, it's just what the doctor ordered....

i totally dig the windshield pot cover tech.
Thanks for stopping by!
You went waaayyy back in the journal for that one, but steal away!
Be warned though-the soil gnats breed like...soil gnats... with those covering the soil,
so they aren't real good for indoors- outdoors they help to keep the soil cool and cut down on evaporation,
so they're good for that, at least!

I love how creative you are with your garden fixes, Carcass.

Thinking outside the box!
If I ever start another journal, that's what I'll call it!
I love how creative you are with your garden fixes, Carcass.
Thanks, HashGirl- Mrs.C. doesn't share your feelings- I don't know how many times I've heard "Put that back in the trash and get the hell away from it"! :)

put the bag in the plastic pots and then you have a tie down! Ta-da!
Damn- you keep that up, and I'm gonna have to put you on the payroll!
Great Idea, Boo!

Carcass, so sorry to hear about your uncle and your son. Glad your son is recovering now. This has not been an easy time for you!

Your plants look spectacular as always. Pity about the yellowing on the Kalashnikov, but I'm sure it will still be a banger!

Love the continued innovation with the pegboard. I've just implemented your bamboo skewer + wire design and I love it.
