Carcass' $150 Low Budget Grow 2019

Hi carcass and co! Congrats on your endurance auto, it was very considerate of her to wait for my return before pistils showed up. ;) She may just end up being quite a beast for ya! Hopefully she doesn’t outgrow your box! :yummy:

Thanks for the kind words, Sy!

I'm now paying more attention to everyone's autos after getting caught out in my ignorance about their growth patterns.
I'm still learning too- this one is growing a bit different than all the other autos I've grown- usually (it seems to me) in the first 9 or 10 days, nothing much happens, then they get their grow on- this one went like 3 weeks before it decided to do a little growing...
Looking great!

I love the colour!
Thanks, BL! ...Good ol' Mega Crop green!
Glad she's started taking off for you. Looks nice and healthy.
I'm glad too- it's amazing what these plants can do in just a week, once they decide to start growing...
Me thinks you are gonna have a mini explosion soon too!
Thanks, Boo!...Hard to tell for sure, but she does seem to be heading in that direction... :)
Hope you and the family are doing well.
Thanks, VG ! We're doing alright!
Congrats on your NOTM landslide!
I hope you and yours are stating safe and healthy!
Nice lil auto btw.
She's finally up from the last 3 weeks "tiny" status...;)
Congrats on your endurance auto, it was very considerate of her to wait for my return before pistils showed up.
Hi, HH- great to see you!
Whatever her reason, I'm good with it! She may not know you're back yet, still no pistils! (Shhhhhhh!)

Well, it's Tuesday...must be time for a little (late) update ...

The SuperSilverHaze auto has done pretty well this week- she actually grew a bit in the last 5 days or so...

Here's what she looked like a week ago, @ 23 days old:
1606851141993.jpeg

And today, @ 30 days old:
Funny- she started out dead center in the pot, now she's like an inch and a half off...tying the branches down makes the main stalk "lean over"at apx. a 45 degree angle...
1606851189383.jpeg

She's not very tall yet....
1606851286678.jpeg

Downright "stubby", as a matter of fact, but at least she's growing some...
1606851357032.jpeg

And, she's close, but not quite flowering yet...this is a good thing- I consider anything beyond day 21 to be bonus time...
1606851661992.jpeg

One odd little thing- when I topped her, I evidently cut a little bit too high (a fim), so the little nub that was left from node 4 ended up growing a whole new branch, so now there's 7 mains instead of just 6...
1606858999603.jpeg

I think she'll be fully flowering within the next few days, but at least she held off long enough to let her catch up a little....hopefully she's got some decent stretch in her.
She was fed/watered a week ago, so she's just about ready for another dose of her favorite beverage-
I'm not going to bump up her MC yet, because she seems pretty happy with 4g/gal MegaCrop+4ml silica blast.

And that's about it for today...
She should be real a monster by next week...
.....or at least a little bigger than she is today....

Thanks for looking, I appreciate the support from all of you:love:
Have a great week, and please, stay safe out there:peace:
Such a beautiful and healthy shade of green.

Healthy flora makes my heart sing with happiness :)

Such a beautiful and healthy shade of green.
Thanks for the kind words, Trala !
That was about all she had going for her till about a week ago...
That's when she decided to "shit or get off the pot"...:)

Time for a little Tuesday update...
I hope everyone's day is going great!

The SuperSilver Haze auto has been doing pretty well- not getting much taller yet, but considerably wider than a week ago...She's also getting nice n branchy, which means plenty of budsites...
She's 37 days old today, growing in 3 gallons of ProMix HP.

She's 6.5" tall now, up from apx 4" a week ago..
1607458581962.jpeg

A little different angle:
She's still on 4g/gal of MegaCrop+ 4ml/gal Silica Blast, and loving it- she's pretty healthy so far...
1607458671763.jpeg

Just thought I'd throw in a pic of my hi-tech air circulation system.... ;) ..(2 x 120mm Infinity S3's)
There's also 3 more of those fans in there- 1 intake + 2 exhausts, but they don't show in the pic...
They're 3 speed usb fans- I vary the speeds to control the temperature in the box...
1607458830860.jpeg

Her training is pretty much done, but the tie downs will stay on till after the stretch...which hasn't happened yet, because she's not flowering yet...(!) Probably any day now, but not yet!

Close up of my special "infinitely adjustable" anchors for holding her outer branches down...
Yeah, they're just suction cups- but they stay "stuck" remarkably well...
1607459856704.jpeg

That's about all there is for today- This plant is definitely heading in the right direction after a rather slow start (at least it seemed slow to me...)
I like the fact that she's a late bloomer- The extra veg time will do her nothing but good...
This one's going to be around awhile- she also has a long flowering time, of up to 90 days....

Thanks for looking, I appreciate the support!
Please, stay safe out there- 2020 is almost over, but, unfortunately, covid19 isn't....:peace:

That's going to be massive when it eventually goes into flower! You did well to keep in in veg so long ;).

I'll be using a computer fan in the isolation box if I get a Candida to reverse, but I'm paper-clip-jumping a computer power supply to make it work.
Close up of my special "infinitely adjustable" anchors for holding her outer branches down...

Good luck getting those to stick to your fabric pots! Great idea for plastic though. :thumb:
I like the fact that she's a late bloomer-
Yeah you do :cheesygrinsmiley:

Watch her sky rocket upwards once she pops those first pistils.
I think she's starting a little early- she's grown half an inch since I took those pics this morning...
You did well to keep it in veg so long

That's what paper clips are for!
Those fans are nice for the price hey. Not sure what they cost for you but here they're £10.99.
I paid $11.00 each, which is pretty cheap, considering they'll last practically forever (67,000 hours)
I bought 6, so I have a spare- I use that one on low speed to move a little air when I'm drying a crop...
The $2.00 dollar store fans I used to use only lasted apx 6 months (5000 hours),and I got tired of replacing them, what seemed like all the time...
Just lovely carcass. You sure she’s an auto??
Thanks,HH!
Yeah, according to @13goody13 she is..
She's actually close to popping pistils- the little nubs are there, just no pistils showing yet...
And there's always 12/12, if she needs a nudge in the right direction...

She came on an autos only order (came with auto freebies as well) so I’m 99% sure... but there’s always that chance.

My theory- I think it’s the seed gods giving you all that time they took from the other dead seedlings this year and adding it onto the veg time of this one.
Shit in no time you’ll be looking at new boxes cause that thing is going to be so tall

Grommets for the win!
Or binder clips...;)
Super healthy shade of green!
Thanks, Oldhippie! Nice of you to stop by!
That color is easy when they're young- the hard part is keeping her (close to) that color till the end- that just never seems to happen ...
Shit in no time you’ll be looking at new boxes cause that thing is going to be so tall
Nah, I'll just have to sharpen up my supercropping skills! (if it comes to that) :)
Actually, it's been quite awhile since one has tried to get "too tall" on me...

Hi Carcass! :ciao: Have I mentioned that I love Tuesdays? That’s because you normally post an awesome update on Tuesday.
They're 3 speed usb fans- I vary the speeds to control the temperature in the box...
Was gonna ask if those were dolla store buys but, well, see below...
Yeah, they're just suction cups- but they stay "stuck" remarkably well...
What a great idea! I have a grommet puncher thingy so I’ll use that on those fabric pots!
I like the fact that she's a late bloomer- The extra veg time will do her nothing but good...
Oh yeahhhhh! :slide: She’s gonna take that box UP!
The $2.00 dollar store fans I used to use only lasted apx 6 months (5000 hours),and I got tired of replacing them, what seemed like all the the time
Got them on Zon?
Shit in no time you’ll be looking at new boxes cause that thing is going to be so tall
I think you should ask for a new wardrobe box for Xmas. :high-five:

Seriously, she is gorgeous. What a beautiful perfectly green plant! :welldone:
