Wow, 30+ days vegging is awesome! My Zkittles kept looking like she was gonna flower and then finally did - at 41 days. Then she exploded! Me thinks you are gonna have a mini explosion soon too! YAY for autos that dawdle to blooming. She should be real a monster by next week...
.....or at least a little bigger than she is today....
I'm still learning too- this one is growing a bit different than all the other autos I've grown- usually (it seems to me) in the first 9 or 10 days, nothing much happens, then they get their grow on- this one went like 3 weeks before it decided to do a little growing...I'm now paying more attention to everyone's autos after getting caught out in my ignorance about their growth patterns.
Thanks, BL! ...Good ol' Mega Crop green!Looking great!
I love the colour!
I'm glad too- it's amazing what these plants can do in just a week, once they decide to start growing...Glad she's started taking off for you. Looks nice and healthy.
Thanks, Boo!...Hard to tell for sure, but she does seem to be heading in that direction...Me thinks you are gonna have a mini explosion soon too!
Thanks, VG ! We're doing alright!Hope you and the family are doing well.
She's finally up from the last 3 weeks "tiny" status...Nice lil auto btw.
Hi, HH- great to see you!Congrats on your endurance auto, it was very considerate of her to wait for my return before pistils showed up.
Such a beautiful and healthy shade of green.Well, it's Tuesday...must be time for a little (late) update ...
The SuperSilverHaze auto has done pretty well this week- she actually grew a bit in the last 5 days or so...
Here's what she looked like a week ago, @ 23 days old:
And today, @ 30 days old:
Funny- she started out dead center in the pot, now she's like an inch and a half off...tying the branches down makes the main stalk "lean over"at apx. a 45 degree angle...
She's not very tall yet....
Downright "stubby", as a matter of fact, but at least she's growing some...
And, she's close, but not quite flowering yet...this is a good thing- I consider anything beyond day 21 to be bonus time...
One odd little thing- when I topped her, I evidently cut a little bit too high (a fim), so the little nub that was left from node 4 ended up growing a whole new branch, so now there's 7 mains instead of just 6...
I think she'll be fully flowering within the next few days, but at least she held off long enough to let her catch up a little....hopefully she's got some decent stretch in her.
She was fed/watered a week ago, so she's just about ready for another dose of her favorite beverage-
I'm not going to bump up her MC yet, because she seems pretty happy with 4g/gal MegaCrop+4ml silica blast.
And that's about it for today...
She should be real a monster by next week...
.....or at least a little bigger than she is today....
Thanks for looking, I appreciate the support from all of you
Have a great week, and please, stay safe out there
Thanks for the kind words, Trala !Such a beautiful and healthy shade of green.
Good luck getting those to stick to your fabric pots! Great idea for plastic though.Close up of my special "infinitely adjustable" anchors for holding her outer branches down...
Yeah, they're just suction cups- but they stay "stuck" remarkably well...
Yeah you doI like the fact that she's a late bloomer-
I think she's starting a little early- she's grown half an inch since I took those pics this morning...Watch her sky rocket upwards once she pops those first pistils.
You did well to keep it in veg so long
That's what paper clips are for!Good luck getting those to stick to your fabric pots!
I paid $11.00 each, which is pretty cheap, considering they'll last practically forever (67,000 hours)Those fans are nice for the price hey. Not sure what they cost for you but here they're £10.99.
Thanks,HH!Just lovely carcass. You sure she’s an auto??
Grommets for the win! That's what paper clips are for!
Super healthy shade of green!Time for a little Tuesday update...
I hope everyone's day is going great!
The SuperSilver Haze auto has been doing pretty well- not getting much taller yet, but considerably wider than a week ago...She's also getting nice n branchy, which means plenty of budsites...
She's 37 days old today, growing in 3 gallons of ProMix HP.
The usual Saugaview®:
She's 6.5" tall now, up from apx 4" a week ago..
A little different angle:
She's still on 4g/gal of MegaCrop+ 4ml/gal Silica Blast, and loving it- she's pretty healthy so far...
Just thought I'd throw in a pic of my hi-tech air circulation system.... ..(2 x 120mm Infinity S3's)
There's also 3 more of those fans in there- 1 intake + 2 exhausts, but they don't show in the pic...
They're 3 speed usb fans- I vary the speeds to control the temperature in the box...
Her training is pretty much done, but the tie downs will stay on till after the stretch...which hasn't happened yet, because she's not flowering yet...(!) Probably any day now, but not yet!
Close up of my special "infinitely adjustable" anchors for holding her outer branches down...
Yeah, they're just suction cups- but they stay "stuck" remarkably well...
That's about all there is for today- This plant is definitely heading in the right direction after a rather slow start (at least it seemed slow to me...)
I like the fact that she's a late bloomer- The extra veg time will do her nothing but good...
This one's going to be around awhile- she also has a long flowering time, of up to 90 days....
Thanks for looking, I appreciate the support!
Please, stay safe out there- 2020 is almost over, but, unfortunately, covid19 isn't....
She came on an autos only order (came with auto freebies as well) so I’m 99% sure... but there’s always that chance.I think she's starting a little early- she's grown half an inch since I took those pics this morning...
That's what paper clips are for!
I paid $11.00 each, which is pretty cheap, considering they'll last practically forever (67,000 hours)
I bought 6, so I have a spare- I use that one on low speed to move a little air when I'm drying a crop...
The $2.00 dollar store fans I used to use only lasted apx 6 months (5000 hours),and I got tired of replacing them, what seemed like all the time...
Thanks,HH!
Yeah, according to @13goody13 she is..
She's actually close to popping pistils- the little nubs are there, just no pistils showing yet...
And there's always 12/12, if she needs a nudge in the right direction...
Or binder clips...Grommets for the win!
Thanks, Oldhippie! Nice of you to stop by!Super healthy shade of green!
Nah, I'll just have to sharpen up my supercropping skills! (if it comes to that)Shit in no time you’ll be looking at new boxes cause that thing is going to be so tall
Was gonna ask if those were dolla store buys but, well, see below...They're 3 speed usb fans- I vary the speeds to control the temperature in the box...
What a great idea! I have a grommet puncher thingy so I’ll use that on those fabric pots!Yeah, they're just suction cups- but they stay "stuck" remarkably well...
Oh yeahhhhh! She’s gonna take that box UP!I like the fact that she's a late bloomer- The extra veg time will do her nothing but good...
Got them on Zon?The $2.00 dollar store fans I used to use only lasted apx 6 months (5000 hours),and I got tired of replacing them, what seemed like all the the time
I think you should ask for a new wardrobe box for Xmas.Shit in no time you’ll be looking at new boxes cause that thing is going to be so tall
@MrSauga We have another customer! What a great idea! I have a grommet puncher thingy so I’ll use that on those fabric pots!
