Carcass' $150 Low Budget Grow 2019

Looking good carcass! Despite mostly grey sunlight. Indoor is looking fab too - what size is your indoor DIY cab?

Guess what my nightmare is gonna be about tonight.
I shouldn't have wikipedia'd vagina dentata - yipes!... now I'm gonna have nightmares too...
glad to be of service to your cultural education
no water tankers flying today- that generally means all is good within 100 miles of us...
yes... gauging the situation by aircraft movement is what it comes down to sometimes!
down for two naps today... without feeding her... it’s a small victory to some, but it’s a huge victory to me!
:bravo: not a small feat at all, without feeds!
Holy crap. Our smoke is all the way up there. I guess the entire west coast is covered then. Crazy.
High HayStack - During our recent apocalyptic summer here in Australia, the smoke from the fires made it snow brown snow on the New Zealand Alps - and there was amazing images of the smoke plume(s) ’travelling’ around the globe. There was pollution on the other side of the planet from it - a testament to the scale of what is happneing
sunny on Tuesday- not sure how that was possible after looking at the smoke map...
favourable winds... may they continue!

 :passitleft:

Thanks Amy!! It was a great feeling... all she ever wanted to do when she was in my arms is scream and cry for mom. It’s slowly coming around. Before I could only hold her facing out, now she’s getting better and allowing me to hold her while she faces me for longer periods.

this second baby of ours has been such a different experience then our first. Our first was formula fed and for the first 9 months I was the only one that could get her to go down for a nap. During the nights she was most comfortable being in my arms over moms... it made waking up for work very difficult Lol

Our first is by far a lil daddy’s girl!!:cheesygrinsmiley:

Those outdoor plants look amazing!
Thanks for the kind words, Hutch!
Indoor is looking fab too - what size is your indoor DIY cab?
Thanks, Amy! That indoor one is going to push the height limit in the box, in fact, I hope she's about done stretching-she's in a 24"x24"x44"space (Home Depot wardrobe box)and she's about 13" from the light already...4 more inches, and she's "too effing close"....
Before I could only hold her facing out,
Our little Nova also insists on facing out when I carry her- keeps the spit up off my neck and shoulder, so it's not a bad thing...:)

I've been pretty busy for the last week with family stuff- @13goody13 ,and his three brothers, sister, and the grandkids were all together in the same spot (my house) for the first time in a year or so- It was pretty cool!
They all get along great, so it made for a real enjoyable time

So, now that I'm back, it's time for a little update!

We'll start (as usual) with the indoor girl- she's a Wedding cheesecake auto, 48 days old, flowering for 18 days, growing like a weed....(glad I didn't try and grow 2 in there)
The SaugaView®:

She's only about 16 inches tall, but the limit is around 20", so hopefully she'll only stretch for 4 or 5 more days: (@13goody13 says she's a light feeder so she's still on 4.5g/gal. of MegaCrop...and loving it...)
1600804857551.jpeg

So on to the outside ladies- First up is the Dr.S.cbd- 99 days old now, flowering for 49 days.- I've been battling Powdery Mildew on this one for a month (and I'm getting tired of it) so she'll get the chop tomorrow...she's actually already got more amber than I wanted, but I've been too busy to harvest her any sooner.(she's gonna be a real chore to trim)
All 4 of the outdoor girls needed water badly today, so it's a real stink-fest out there:oops:

Here's one of her buds- not real fat, but there's quite a few of them...
1600805419925.jpeg

Her doublewide bud is a little wider than it was a week ago...It looks cool , but really, there's not a lot of smoke there- just a lot of leaves...
1600805601214.jpeg

On to the ChemDog#4- this one is getting fat and heavy, and I think she's got about 2 weeks to go...
Found (and squished) a couple of big green caterpillars on her- they ate a few leaves, but didn't damage any buds. She's 121 days old, flowering for 55 days...still 36" tall
1600806056562.jpeg

Here's a view of her from the other side- looks like I've got a little staking up to do...
1600806239462.jpeg

One of her buds- this one's about 14" long...

1600806465011.jpeg

And then there's the 2 Dr.S. clones-48 days since rooting, flowering for apx. 25 days...
The topped one (right) is about 4" shorter than the untopped one, but she's got about 25% more buddage than the taller one...

These both also have PM problems, but not as bad as mom

So that's about it for today!
I'll post up some pics of tomorrow's Dr.S. harvest-probably later on in the day, because she's going to take quite awhile to trim...

I should be around more now that the family event is over- I know I missed a lot of stuff being off for a week, but I'll do my best to get caught back up!

Thanks for looking, I really appreciate the support!

Stay safe out there!..:peace:

Thanks, Boo! ...Yeah,I'm used to trimming up my little indoor plants...these outside ladies are going to give my trimming shears a real workout!
At least there'll be a few weeks between harvests...but either way,I'll be good and sick of trimming when they're all done...Actually, I'm sick of it already, and I don't even start till tomorrow....

these outside ladies are going to give my trimming shears a real workout!
Yes they are! :p With both of my outdoor grows this year I trimmed them pretty tightly the day before I planned to harvest because I knew/felt I couldn’t get thru the whole harvest in one day. Boy was I happy I did that! It allowed me to trim at will and let everything just fall to the ground to rake up later since I did not save the leaves. I still needed to do a little trimming but nothing like I would have been stuck with all at once. Enjoy!:cheesygrinsmiley:

So nice to see the sun out and the sharp shadows on the ground up there! Must be a lot easier to breathe as well. I bet the family had a great time together for a week.

Plants look great though I'm sorry to hear about the PM. Have you tried the citric acid spray I've been using? 13g13 is having success with it as well.

And it's a damn good thing there's only one plant in the box! That WCa really gets to spread its wings. 🪰

I did not save the leaves.
:( But the salve box...

one of those electric wood chippers for mine!
My brother and his partner have one of those and they love it. Deals with all the smaller woody prunings splendidly so it’d be perfect!

They all get along great, so it made for a real enjoyable time
a telling testament to the environment and guidance you provided for sure!

I'm glad you mentioned that- mine will get that treatment this evening after the sun goes down- I probably should have done it a month ago to help with the PM!
Should oof had a trim party when the kids were there.
I thought of that, but then the 4 year old granddaughter would want to help, and there'd be sooo many questions... :)
Have you tried the citric acid spray I've been using?
I've just been using a weak vinegar solution, which seems to work alright if you stay at it, but I kind of slacked off for the last 3 or 4 days...I may try the citric acid on the 2 clones, since they're going to be around for awhile...
I have saved a lot though.
I've got 3 or 4 bags of trimmins that I need to do something with. One of these days.....
I'm considering buying one of those electric wood chippers for mine!
If I start a salve bin, I'll probably just use the leaves...
a telling testament to the environment and guidance you provided for sure!
20-30 years ago, when they were growing up, I didn't really set a very good example- But it did teach them what NOT to do...;) (I think I'm much better now that alcohol and I have parted ways)
Was gonna try and sneak by without them.
Those bigger roots get pretty tough when they dry out- mine usually just get tossed into the greenwaste...

I cut it into pieces with a scissors over the bin.
Now it's starting to sound a lot like work!

If it'll work for flea bites, I may have to start making some salve...
My cat sleeps outside all day, and brings fresh fleas in with him just about every evening...
