I have consistently found autos inconsistent when grown outside. Tent Box growers seem to have much better luck than I do!

Hey I feel ya, I have a few 100 day old autos outside right now. I want to believe that in the next few years those genetics will clean up and a plant will either be an auto or photo, not some random kindauto. I mean I still get plenty off of them to press etc, but now my plan to grow normal autos this summer outdoors are over.I have consistently found autos inconsistent when grown outside.TentBox growers seem to have much better luck than I do!
That's a high bar -as long as she gives me a little time before she starts flowering I might be able to come close...but ya just never know with these damn autosIf anyone can beat my 944g it’s you!
She'll have plenty of room to stretch out- I just hope she uses itNow let's see what the Wedding Cheesecake can do!
I always figure I've got 21 days with an auto before flowering- anything more than that is bonus time...lately they’ve been starting bloom at 3 weeks..seriously? Hmmmm.
I'm going to try at least one auto outside next season- I could probably try one this season, but I've already got 4 outdoor plants now, which is 2 more than the original plan...I know you know how that goes...Box growers seem to have much better luck than I do!
The longest any of my autos have waited to flower is 41 days- most seem to do it at 3 weeks-genetics will clean up and a plant will either be an auto or photo,
Mine was cheap ass genetics. That’s what happens when you buy from the very first breeder that popped up on google last year! Their ChemDawg photo was fabulous but their autos are lacking. The longest any of my autos have waited to flower is 41 days- most seem to do it at 3 weeks-
If they could breed em all to go 40+ days before flowering, I think autos would be a lot more popular.
She didn't do squat for the first ten days, but she's catching up pretty fast (day 16 now)The replacement is looking perky!
Gotta try a Dr. S auto outside next year!I'm going to try at least one auto outside next season-
Thanks, Mr.S.!That's a hard act to follow carcass. I'm sure you'll do it though!
Thanks, HH!I’m sure I already mentioned, but that was Mr. H’s favorite for a good while. Are you thinking of making some gummies with it? Yum yum
Looking forward to it!Gotta try a Dr. S auto outside next year!
You're not kidding about "bigger"! Very impressed how large they got in such a short time. And then there's the 2 bigger outdoor girls-
My Dr.S was the first of my three to start flowering by about a week. It is really stacking up quickly, and I feel it will be the first to harvest. The breeder says October, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's ready by the end of September. That Dr S, don’t worry that it’s starting to flower late- they say around 60 days flowering but mine is only halfway there and 50% of the flowers are already looking almost mature enough to harvest
That AP sure looks a lot bigger than 12"! Congrats on the harvest!Easy to trim because she was a little gal.(12")...86 days old,
Thanks,Candy!Congrats on the yummy harvest!
She had no flowers on Monday, but today she's covered with 'em..she's also the branchiest plant I've ever grown- she's gonna have about 60 buds on her by the time she's done- I'm impressed as hell with the way she's shaping up...My Dr.S was the first of my three to start flowering by about a week.
She looked just like a pot plant, only smaller! That AP sure looks a lot bigger than 12"!
I remember the days we sat looking at a lanky male on this porch, shooting the breeze on the dirty little sods plans to rape and seed all those innocent ladies , now look at what your doing constantly. Love it Cass. Peace and love brotherTuesday update time !
Things have just been growing along like they should- the indoor box has only one
permanent occupant now- the Wedding Cheesecake auto-14 days old today, and topped yesterday-she started out real slow, but she seems to have found her groove now.
The 2 clones also share the box with her in the evening, but they've been spending the days outside in the heatwave we've been having for the last 6 days- it's actually only been in the mid 90's, but for here, that's hot!
The Alaskan Purple auto (she's not done quite yet) has been moved outdoors since Saturday morning - the power was out all day from a lightning storm that moved thru here, so I figured it was a good time to move her outside to finish up- she's pretty close, maybe 2% amber trichs.(84 days old, flowering for 58)
I think a couple more days should do it...but I thought that a week ago too...
Figured I'd throw in what's probably the final silhouette shot of the APa
One of her buds- she's still putting out some pistils -she never went above 5g/gal of MC, because that was enough to give her a little tip burn,so that's where I left it.
The Dr.S. clones are doing good-15 days since they grew their first roots- the topped one(R) is just a little branchier than the untopped one, otherwise they're about the same so far- they're both 11" tall. I'll be up potting them in about a week- I've only got 2 more 3 gallon pots, and the Alaskan Purple is still in one of them, at least until Thursday...(ish) Those are 1 gallon pots they're in now. ( 4g/MC/gal+4ml sb)
And then there's the 2 bigger outdoor girls- ChemDawg#4 left, Dr.S. on the right.
They look the same height in the pic, but the CD is actually 4" taller than the Dr.S. (34"/30")
The CD is stacking up nicely- she's fed 6.5g/gal MC w/ 4ml Silica Blast every day.
And the DR.S. -not flowering yet, she's been on the sun's schedule for 16 days now, so I'm not sure what she's waiting for...she's fed 5.5g/gal MC/4ml silica blast, also every day.
And that's about all for today-
I'll post up some pics on APa harvest day -should be a quickie because she doesn't have
many leaves left to trim (and she's a little tiny thing )
Thanks for looking, I appreciate the support!
I hope you're all staying safe out there...
And wearing a mask when needed to keep others safe-
Hopefully, it's a habit by now...
Thanks, syenite!Beautiful plant and yield
I drink about 1 soda a year- this year, that was the 1..There's nothing like a satisfying cola!
You mean "effing with my plants"? (as Mrs.C. calls it)now look at what your doing constantly.
Lol I get the same. They just don't understand us falling into the branches of these ladies mate!!. LolThanks, syenite!
