Carcass' $150 Low Budget Grow 2019

So wholesome I can hardly believe this is the internet!!
We've always gotten along great, but we've had a lot more contact since @13goody13 joined the forum-it's funny- I always knew he grew "a little pot" but now I can watch em grow- and learn from him- He's actually been growing a lot longer than I have...and he's real good at it- I turned him on to MegaCrop, now he's getting even better, and saving a crapload of money to boot!

Mrs.C. and I are on baby duty today, so I won't be updating till tomorrow (unless Nova takes a decent nap, which isn't really her style :))
Hope everyone has a great Monday- I'll see you tomorrow!

Tuesday update time !

Things have just been growing along like they should- the indoor box has only one
permanent occupant now- the Wedding Cheesecake auto-14 days old today, and topped yesterday-she started out real slow, but she seems to have found her groove now.

The 2 clones also share the box with her in the evening, but they've been spending the days outside in the heatwave we've been having for the last 6 days- it's actually only been in the mid 90's, but for here, that's hot!

The Alaskan Purple auto (she's not done quite yet) has been moved outdoors since Saturday morning - the power was out all day from a lightning storm that moved thru here, so I figured it was a good time to move her outside to finish up- she's pretty close, maybe 2% amber trichs.(84 days old, flowering for 58)
I think a couple more days should do it...but I thought that a week ago too...

Figured I'd throw in what's probably the final silhouette shot of the APa
1597776504099.jpeg

One of her buds- she's still putting out some pistils -she never went above 5g/gal of MC, because that was enough to give her a little tip burn,so that's where I left it.
1597775563074.jpeg

The Dr.S. clones are doing good-15 days since they grew their first roots- the topped one(R) is just a little branchier than the untopped one, otherwise they're about the same so far- they're both 11" tall. I'll be up potting them in about a week- I've only got 2 more 3 gallon pots, and the Alaskan Purple is still in one of them, at least until Thursday...(ish) Those are 1 gallon pots they're in now. ( 4g/MC/gal+4ml sb)

And then there's the 2 bigger outdoor girls- ChemDawg#4 left, Dr.S. on the right.
They look the same height in the pic, but the CD is actually 4" taller than the Dr.S. (34"/30")
1597775702473.jpeg

The CD is stacking up nicely- she's fed 6.5g/gal MC w/ 4ml Silica Blast every day.
1597775983543.jpeg

And the DR.S. -not flowering yet, she's been on the sun's schedule for 16 days now, so I'm not sure what she's waiting for...she's fed 5.5g/gal MC/4ml silica blast, also every day.

And that's about all for today-
I'll post up some pics on APa harvest day -should be a quickie because she doesn't have
many leaves left to trim (and she's a little tiny thing ;))

Thanks for looking, I appreciate the support!

I hope you're all staying safe out there...
And wearing a mask when needed to keep others safe-
Hopefully, it's a habit by now...:peace:

That AP looks tasty, Carcass! Great shots of the outdoor plants. :Rasta:

Looks awesome and smelly all around.
That Dr S, don’t worry that it’s starting to flower late- they say around 60 days flowering but mine is only halfway there and 50% of the flowers are already looking almost mature enough to harvest (probably only 7-8 oz at this point) Hopefully she catches up and surprises you though.

Thanks,GDB! - If she smokes as good as the last one, I'll be tickled (and real stoned)
That Dr S, don’t worry that it’s starting to flower late-
I was a little worried, then I checked the harvest date on a Cheese I grew outside in the ground last year- Nov 1st-
So she's got close to 10 weeks if she needs it...

That APa is solid! Someday you might even be able to harvest it ;).
I thought being out in the blazing hot sun might speed the ambering process up a bit, but so far all it's done is make her thirsty...

This morning the Alaskan Purple auto was showing enough amber to satisfy me (I think the heat did help)
So I stuck her in the (dark) vacuum cleaner closet till tomorrow morning at harvest time.
I don't usually do that, but it's supposed to be 96f here today- she needs water, but I don't want to water this close to harvest, and I don't think cooking out in the sun all day will do much for her, so into the closet she went...
I'll post up some harvest pics tomorrow- won't be much to it- she's pretty small. (but she stinks like a big girl ;) )

No Water! Very nice looking clumps on her, can almost smell the pic.

I'm going to need her pot (the one she's growing in, not her produce) in a few days for the clones, so I decided she's close enough- I'll take some bud pics tomorrow- lots of little foxtails on that one.

Looks like a chunky little girl.
She's got a lot of solid buds on her- almost no popcorn or larf down low, because she's so short there just isn't room for it ;)
But who cut a hole in the closet wall?
Mrs.C and I installed a shower years ago- that's the access to the water lines and faucet...we've been meaning to put a cover on it...for about ten years now....:cheesygrinsmiley:

The Alaskan Purple auto is harvested and hanging in the closet!
Easy to trim because she was a little gal.(12")...86 days old, flowering for 60 days- here's a few pics of the process:
Final pic before the chopping commenced...

Before trimming...
1597957572122.jpeg

And after... (14.6oz/409g wet)
1597957654522.jpeg

And hanging up to dry...till Monday or Tuesday.

Didn't have a bottle of beer, so a 12oz. cannabis cola will do for reference...(sorry for the blurry pic)

1597957921799.jpeg

And that's about all there was to it- an hour and a half, start to finish- the one advantage of growing a tiny plant...:)

Here's the one taking her place- Wedding Cheesecake auto from @13goody13 - lets see how this one goes...

Hope you're all having a great Thursday!

Love it! That’s not a bad weight. Sometimes the tasty ones don’t weigh as much, maybe that’s it.
Now to turn that WCC into one of these

Same light, same food, but 1100 miles closer to the equator. If anyone can beat my 944g it’s you!
