Carcass' $150 Low Budget Grow 2019

Those diaper blow outs are dangerous lol They sure give it all they got don’t they? Congrats again on the harvest my friend. Nice chunky buds for the jar to cure. Your plant training is inspiring as always. I wanna make my plants look like that all the time! :adore: I hope all is blessed In carcass land!

Thanks, Sunny!- I was thinking the same thing about your plants! :adore:
Whatever you do to get those foot-long colas is something I'd like to get figured out- I'm going to try to train my next one a little less wide, and a bit taller to try and stretch stuff out a little more.

Sunny's got a secret and I think a lot of us are trying to figure out what it is! :Rasta:

Nice plant Carcass!

No secret! I’m just as surprised as you guys and gals

I honestly don’t do nothing special besides top and train the branches out and down. Mine might be a foot long but you got a lot more half footers in the end.. That’s sounds bad. Maybe not in the end but when we both get to the finish line? Ah crap for get it:rofl::rofl::rofl:

All this foot long talk makes me hungry for a subway sandwich. A pastrami with all the veggies with extra olives and jalapeños.

:passitleft:

Sunny's got a secret
Maybe just a good old fashioned green thumb...but, like everything else, even the thumbs are greener over in Hawaii...:D
Mine might be a foot long but you got a lot more half footers in the end..
Both would be great... an 18" plant with 18 or 20 foot-long colas....could happen with the right late-flowering auto...probably ;)

Happy Monday ! Time for a little update...I've actually got 6 plants going, so we'll take a little look at all of them..

First, the Alaskan Purple auto- 76 days old, flowering for 52 days and close to being done- just waiting till I see a few amber trichomes...she's still only 12" tall, but a little fatter (and a little yellower) than last week...

The Saugaview®:
1597082595736.jpeg

And a look through the door- the little one is the Wedding Cheesecake auto seedling- a week old but still tiny...
1597082697815.jpeg

And the 2 Dr.S clones- they got up-potted to 1 gallon pots on Friday (ProMix HP).
1597082983625.jpeg

The WCCa Seedling seems pretty small for 7 days old- not sure yet how this one's gonna go....
so far I'm not getting that warm, fuzzy feeling about her...but she may surprise me.
1597083297699.jpeg

An APa Bud-no amber yet,but it's got to be close to that time...
1597083385368.jpeg

And a silhouette(ish) shot...
1597083474681.jpeg

So- on to the outdoor ladies- they're both doing well out there...no bugs on them yet, so that's a good thing..
The Dr.S is starting to stretch a bit- she was put on the sun's schedule 8 days ago so she's getting ready to flower...not doing it yet, but hopefully soon... 58 days old today. 27" tall.

1597084036073.jpeg

And the ChemDawg#4- 79 days old, flowering for apx. 13 days- 34" tall (probably about the limit in that 3 gallon pot) Her and the Dr.S. drink a gallon each per day.
1597085072455.jpeg

Side by side...that Dr.S is a lopsided one...
1597085584054.jpeg

That's about all there is for today- I think the Alaskan Purple will be coming down this week, so I'll post up some harvest pics if it happens..She should be an easy one to trim- a lot of her leaves are already falling off
and she wasn't very leafy to begin with....

Thanks for looking- I appreciate the support!

Hope you're all staying safe and maintaining a positive attitude through all of this...:peace:

WooHoo that alaskan purple is a sweetheart man! I hear she's a good smoke. Enjoy!

Thanks,Mr.S!
Oh good, you kept the ®
Gotta have that ! Although sometimes my old laptop just doesn't want to cooperate- I try to make the "®"
and it just takes me to"the google" ;)
I hear she's a good smoke. Enjoy!
She is! - I hadn't smoked any of the first one till a few nights
ago- I got waaaayy more stoned than I meant to...:lot-o-toke:
I'm trying to decide what training route to go down.
I'd recommend quadding her- I have no problem keeping them a lot shorter than I meant to...

Thanks, syenite!
Shit. My SaugaView doesn't have the ®. I think I got mine off the black market
You've got to watch out for knockoffs- like the SaugaView©...cheaper, but, of course not as good...
Everything is looking good I especially like the Alaskan purple.
Thanks, smokey! She's still getting a little more chunky every day...
My WCC was a total runt too, and now 55 days later she’s a tree
I thought I'd heard you mention that- I think/hope she's just growing roots before she makes her big move!
Spot on all 'round,
Thanks,Shed! Those pots the outdoor ladies are in are starting to look real small...not as small as a big gulp cup, though...:cheesygrinsmiley:

I thought I'd heard you mention that-
She doesn’t look so bad here, but she was way behind the others (Dr in the back)

I'm sure she'll get with it in a day or so- I thought a couple of my other ones were runts too, and they all proved me wrong!
I'll be back in a little while- it worked out that 5 of my plants all need water today- It's hot today, so I'd better get that done before I kill something.... ;)

I'm going to do a little comparison thing with the 2 Dr.S clones-
Topped clone#1 (left) above the fifth node today, so in a few months we'll see how yield from a topped plant compares to an untopped one.
They're both in 1 gallon pots now, but will be up potted to 3 gallon pots when they need to be.
They're outside plants now, but will get some (4 hours) supplemental light indoors after dark so they don't start flowering till they get a bit bigger.
They're the same age, close to the same size ,and from the same mom, so they're as close to identical as they can be. #1 was a little taller, but now they're about the same height. They were both clipped from the mom 22 days ago. That's her on the table behind them.

The tomato plant in the garden is from some Pantano Romanesco seeds that @13goody13 sent along with the Dr.S , ChemDawg#4, and Iced Grapefruit seeds.- should be some big ol heirloom tomatoes on it pretty soon
Thanks again,Son!
So that's what I've been doing so far today- Hope everyone is having a nice Tuesday!

Success on my Dr S clone (only 1) as well. It was kind of an afterthought and I took it 2-3 days into flower, but it seems like it’s fine now.
Glad you got some cuttings to root, I know you go through a lot more CBD than I do up here.

Tomatoes looking good too!

I know you go through a lot more CBD than I do up here.
I get a lot of requests for cbd from the rest of the family, so I figured I'd try and grow a bunch- I had to get stingy with my last cbd because there wasn't much there.
And we all know I'm too damn cheap to pay $55 an eighth for it at the dispensary....
