Carcass' $150 Low Budget Grow 2019

I get a lot of requests for cbd from the rest of the family, so I figured I'd try and grow a bunch- I had to get stingy with my last cbd because there wasn't much there.
And we all know I'm too damn cheap to pay $55 an eighth for it at the dispensary....
I don’t think (at least up here in WA) they have anything near 30:1 either. Most of the ones I see are 3:1 at most

I did buy some "Ringo's Gift" 24:1 cbd at the dispensary in A.G. about a year ago, but they only carry 1:1 or 2:1 now.
I like 30:1 because I can blend in my own percentage of thc, or just smoke it as-is if I want to.

Spot on all 'round, and the ® symbol (for those that are using the official version) is ALT-0174. Or you can just keep this bookmarked and copy and paste.
Thanks for the link! :D I use OPTION+R on my Mac keyboard (ALT+R on windows?) but can’t do that on the phone... so the link will be fun to have!

Topped clone#1 (left) above the fifth node today, so in a few months we'll see how yield from a topped plant compares to an untopped one

When window shopping for seeds, I've seen descriptions saying, "this cultivar does not do well with topping", or the opposite. I didn't realise this was a thing!

Topping is about the easiest training there is - 1 snip, and you're done..
I've only grown a few plants that weren't at least topped- indoors I do a lot more training, but
outdoors, that one little snip can make a plant into a bush with more budsites than if it were just left alone to grow naturally.
It also helps if you'd like to keep your plants below fence level...even if it's legal, you don't really want the whole neighborhood to know you're growing- especially the neighbors who know what a "ripe" pot plant looks like....

Thanks for the link!
The only ones missing in that link are ♪ (alt+13) and ♫ (alt+14) - in case you
want to sing a little when you post..;)

And lastly- The harvested Gelat.og auto is dry, so it got de-stemmed and jarred up this morning-
ended up with a little more than I thought...
3+ ounces for that auto seems pretty decent to me. :thumb: Nice looking buds too!
First, the Alaskan Purple auto- 76 days old, flowering for 52 days and close to being done- just waiting till I see a few amber trichomes...she's still only 12" tall, but a little fatter (and a little yellower) than last week...
That AP is looking great! My son is growing a photo period version of AP, so I'm looking forward to giving some of that a try.
So- on to the outdoor ladies- they're both doing well out there...no bugs on them yet, so that's a good thing..
I'm relatively bug free so far on my three big girls, but I know the caterpillars are coming eventually. I've got BT ready to go when needed. Just not sure when I should start spraying, because once you see caterpillar damage, it's kinda too late. They're everywhere at that point.
The Dr.S is starting to stretch a bit- she was put on the sun's schedule 8 days ago so she's getting ready to flower...not doing it yet, but hopefully soon... 58 days old today. 27" tall.
Excellent work getting Dr.S large enough to flower so quickly. You should still have plenty of time for her to flower and ripen before fall weather sets in. :welldone:
And the ChemDawg#4- 79 days old, flowering for apx. 13 days- 34" tall (probably about the limit in that 3 gallon pot) Her and the Dr.S. drink a gallon each per day.
ChemDawg has a wonderful size and shape to her - especially for just 3 gallons!

Thanks for the kind words, Beez!-
but I know the caterpillars are coming eventually.
I move the outside ladies into my patio room at night..so last night, I noticed a solitary moth flying around in there-
so I'm out in the patio room on a midnight moth hunt- finally got him with the flyswatter- It reminded me of Walter White shutting down the meth lab till he killed a fly that was buzzing around in there...

Next year I'll go with bigger pots- they grow ok in the 3's , but that little pot blows over sooo easy in the wind-
I had to tie her down the other day-she did blow over, but I just happened to be out there and I caught her
before she hit the ground....

Yeah, even my 5 gals have been tipped over in the wind. I've out them on a pallet and strapped them down. That is one thing that has worked for me! Plants look awesome btw.

:laughtwo: I can relate!
I'm thinking probably next week I might spray the plant that's furthest along as a preemptive strike. I've never sprayed my plants with anything before.

Yeah, even my 5 gals have been tipped over in the wind.
I tie mine down on top of a wine barrel- that's where it was the other day when I happened to catch it on the way down...coincidentally, that's the same time I started tying it down...:)
I've never sprayed my plants with anything before.
The BT is pretty benign- I had to spray my Cheese plant with it every day last "moth season"it really works well- every morning,I'd go out and pick 4 or 5 dead or dying caterpillars off of it.
It doesn't leave any residue at all that I could tell.
The only thing is that the caterpillars have to eat some of it before it kills them, which means they also have to eat some of the plant before they die..

A preemptive strike is a good idea- kill em before they find the buds- because, like us, they just love them buds!

That Dr S comes in an autoflower now, I got some for us on their 5 for 5 deal (got 5 Green Crack auto freebies!) so we can give those a try for the next round if you want, or just keep them in your bank for later :surf:

we can give those a try for the next round if you want,

Oh, hell yes!
That would be great!- I've got a couple of auto seeds left, but I've already grown both of those strains,
So I could use something different when your WCC finishes (that'll be awhile- just up-potted it today)
Thanks, Son!

Also got Amnesia and N. Lights Autos (they are a great company for freebies) and Wedding Cake auto. We should be set for a while lol

We should be set for a while lol
I'm tentatively planning on only growing one at a time in the box from now on, so 3 or four seeds will be like a years worth for me...

Well you know how it is with them, I ordered 8 seeds and got 19. I do about 10-12 a year (plus clones) between outside and inside, so these extras need to go to someone that can love them.
Also, I’m investing in my own care packages for when I see you on my trips to CA, then I don’t have to travel with anything ;) Everyone wins. Hopefully the brothers will like some of the new variety.

They're not too picky when the price is sooo right ;)
(Sorry I didn't respond a bit sooner- I didn't get a notification when you posted this)

" Them" I assume, is the seed supplier that shall remain nameless?:)

Yes, I have been warned for mentioning the name (and tagging) but I like their deals and I don’t mind the wait because I’m ordering way in advance. They also take debit/credit through an off site vendor now and it made it incredibly easy to order.
