Well alright then-Harvest time! Here's a few parting shots of the AP auto
Wow!! Those buds are stunning! :adore: It's hard to believe that came from an Auto. :bravo:
(that's a Gelat.OGauto bottom right)
I will have to enjoy Gelat.OG vicariously through you. :nomo:

I love your DIY grow tent. and your photos are the best
I'm subbed

After Wednesday, the "there's a newborn in da house" sleep schedule starts- so enjoy those last two!

Speaking of newborns....We're babysitting the 3 month old granddaughter today, so I'm going to wait till tomorrow or this evening to do my update...not a lot going on anyway, except watching the pot dry, which is about as exciting as it sounds...
Thanks carcass!! :circle-of-love:

enjoy your time with nova! I bet you and your wife are just smitten about her being there!! I bet she’s a cutie!! :battingeyelashes: @carcass (edited)
Congrats on the upcoming event. Lots of good positive energy coming your way.
thanks VG! Means a lot!! Getting down to the last stretch. I probably won’t be able to sleep very much! I’m already super nervous. Nervous for my wife, nervous for everything to come. I’m excited, but nervous as hell!

I will have to enjoy Gelat.OG vicariously through you.
Thank you,Beez!...and I'll have to enjoy the Pink Kush CBD vicariously through you-my last seed sprouted and died a day later...
I love your DIY grow tent.
Thanks Red! It aint much to look at, but it does get the job done!
Congrats on the upcoming event.
Nervous for my wife, nervous for everything to come.
As soon as you see the new little one, that will all go away....I cried like a baby when all 5 of mine
were born...
congrats on the upcoming sprouts.
Thanks for that,VG!...but I'm afraid there's no good news on those two:(
enjoy your time with nova!
It was great! It's only the third time we've seen her since she was born on Valentines day- soooo damn cute!

Tuesday update time!

Well...I had 2 seedlings a few days ago, the pink kush died yesterday ,and the chem dawg is looking like it'll be dead pretty soon...I think the soil I put them in has some kind of fungus in it or something....just my luck...

But,the Gelat.OG auto is doing well-I initially stuck it in a 1 gallon, because it seemed like it was a semi-dud,
but then It started growing well, so I transplanted it to a 3 gallon.
It was topped on Saturday

And here's the barely surviving ChemDawg- the cotyledons are turning brown,so I'm pretty sure it's going to die soon- It's got to be something in that soil that's killing them....so I chucked the rest of that bag and opened a new one-

So that's all for the indoor girl(s)

The outside clone is doing pretty good-not any taller, but the buds are starting to stack up

The tops are kinda "funny"-looks like she might be trying to re-veg- if she does, that'll be the second time for her

That's about it for this update...

To recap: 3 sprouted, and I killed 2 of them-so my brown thumb is still working...

Thanks for looking,I appreciate the support!

Have a great (and safe) week everyone!:peace:

Not the ChemDawg! lol oh well i guess it wasn’t meant to be. I had better luck with their seeds going straight from float into soil, could just be a dud too. My @SeedsMan order will be here soon and you’re welcome to a wedding cheesecake seed if you need something to replace that one. Your LRX seeds I got 2/3 to pop so far, and they seem to be doing well!

No,the seed was fine...pretty sure it was just something in that soil-it was the last of a bag
that I opened about 6 months ago, and I think some sort of fungus got in there-the stems turned brown on both of them, the Pink Kush just got it a little worse and died right away-the CD is lasting a little longer,
but the stem is brown,so it'll be "all dead" soon (just "mostly dead" right now) ;)

This last soil I got, I swear it came with gnats already in it.
Fungus sucks, it’s usually too late when you find it, too.

I can relate to your "bad soil" issue as I've had similar problems this year. I usually use "seedling starter" soil, but ran out so I decided to use some "used" soil from last year. A couple of weird things happened to my seedlings - one died, one stunted, and about 3 had funky/crinkly looking leaves. They all grew out of it evidently except for the one that died - hard to grow out of that. :eye-roll: I went out and got more "seedling" soil and all seems to be well again. I don't really know for sure if it was the soil, but that's what I'm blaming it on.

It is definitely weird when they pretty much just drop dead....

The soil I used had been sitting in the bottom of the bag probably for at least 6 months,so I figured I'd use it up for the seedlings....there must've been a fungus living in there...that's got to be it...I hope.
I've had bad luck getting them to sprout before, but this is the first time I've killed them after they sprouted.
The bad part is I had a new bag of soil just sitting there...shoulda opened it,and chucked the old stuff into the trash...
Oh well- win a few, lose a few I guess...
Nothing but new soil for seedlings from now on...or I might give peat pucks a try-they seem to work well for lots of folks...

Aloha Carcass! Holy jeeebus man what a epic plant! Congrats on the harvest! I’m shitty at trimming.. I use the quick and dirty approach most times. Hope all is blessed in carcass land!! Stay safe and A hui hou!

Congrats on the harvest! I’m shitty at trimming.
Thanks for the compliment,Sunny!
I don't defoliate at all while the plant grows, so my plants are usually a pain in the butt to trim-I start out doing a pristine job, but by the end it gets a little shitty, so I always have to do a bit of dry trimming to get
everything that I let slide initially - that way I get a 3 or 4 day break before I have to finish the trim.

Sorry to hear about the seedlings
Thanks,Candy!
I think some bad soil killed them,so I've got a cookie sheet full of soil in the oven right now
to hopefully kill any bad critters lurking around in there. I'll know in a few days if it helped...
I'm going to try some peat pucks, but I haven't ventured out to Home Depot yet to get them,so I'll give
the sterilized soil a shot and see if anything changes..

Speaking of trimming....The Alaskan Purple auto is dry, de-stemmed,trimmed, and ready to jar up.
Here's what I ended up with: (zeroed for the pan)
1589998216669.jpeg

6.2oz / 173.6 grams -so, a tiny bit more than the last auto...
That's it for that one- I've tried a few testers, and it works very well, but tastes pretty bad right now-should mellow out after a month or so in the jars.

I'm trying to get another one going so the Galat.og auto doesn't get lonely in the box, so I'll know in a day or 2 if it's going to sprout (and stay alive) :( ...

Thanks for looking-
I appreciate the support!
Have a great day,and stay safe out there...:peace:

What a haul my Braddah! I’m only hitting ounce and a halfish on my autos.. I think I’ll do a little better on the amnesia haze after she finishes drying.

Always inspiring carcass!

What a haul my Braddah!

Thanks,Sunny !- that one did surprise me- it started off soooo bad, I actually thought about culling it and starting over...glad I didn't do that!
