Carcass' $150 Low Budget Grow 2019

I watched the news a short while ago. I got heartburn listening to the President. Five minutes on line, and a crunching a few numbers revealed that once again he lied to the American people. He said the US conducted the most Covid tests per capita. BAH!
USA - 2631.4 tests per 100K
Canada - 2907.7 tests per 100K
I didn't bother checking any further.

I’m with you OS.. fuckin trash out that fools mouth. We were eating dinner at the table when the thing came out about him telling people to inject themselves with sanitizer.

I stood up and turned the tv off. Haven’t put the news on much since. A pandemic I can eventually compartmentalize but a idiot in charge I cannot. Sorry for the rant carcass!!

Sorry for the rant carcass!!
No need to apologize- that was mild compared to one of my rants! (Mrs.C. is the lucky one that gets to hear those "live" ;) )
I can almost smell it from here
She's a real stinky one- thank goodness Mrs.C. stopped griping about the smell when I started making gummies -she realizes it's just part of the process. Our house does stink pretty good though....
There will definitely be a care pkg waiting for you next time you come down!
Your brother (P) picked one up just yesterday!

98 days old today, 62 days flowering...Seedsman says 63 days max, but she's still growing, so she's going to go a bit longer than that.
That AP looks great! I wouldn't put too much worry in what the breeder says. It seems they always under-estimate the time to harvest.
a somewhat runty Gelat.OG auto- 8 days old today
and still tiny
I've had challenges with my Gelat.OG so far this season. The first one took 4 days of soaking before it finally cracked open a tap root... then of course after 8 or 9 days, it just fell over! My second seed (to replace the first) has now been soaking for 5 days and still has not cracked open yet. I'm only gonna give it a couple more days til I give up on it.
I've got another Pink Kush seed in a solo cup that hasn't sprouted yet-I'll give it a few more days before I declare it a dud...
I got lucky with my Pink Kush, only had to soak it a couple days and then sprouted a couple days after putting into soil.

Thanks,Beez!
This plant has done everything a little later than expected-it didn't even start flowering till day 36,
so being late is just what it does . It's real close, but I'd like to see a little amber before I chop.

I saw that something ate the roots off of your first one- did you ever find the critter that did that?
That one of mine is 9 days old, and one inch tall- so it's alive, but that's about the only good thing I can say about it so far...plenty of root action underground, but nothing at all happening above ground.(yet)
I got lucky with my Pink Kush,
I got lucky with the first one- but the second one,not so much, so far,anyway...It's been in the cup for 5 days,so I'll give it 2 more days before I give up on it. Only one PK seed left if this one doesn't go,so I hope the last one is a grower..

Not sure if you’ve seen any of the new MegaCrop yet- White powder, no smell :yahoo:

I shouldn’t be surprised
You really shouldn't be...You actually had a lot to do with it -Your Blackberry Kush from last year is what got me started on that growing style...
I saw that beautiful plant, and decided I was going to try and do it that way...
So I owe you a big ol' Thank You, HH!

Ah yes, my queen BBK. Lol.
Aww carcass, that’s so touching! It’s a great style and I use it for every photo I grow, now that I think about it! :laughtwo:

Hi
Fun fun fun! What do you think will happen as the season moves forward and the duration of light increases? do you think that it will revert back to a veg pant at any point? I'm just wondering how this could work out. it does sound like the auto genetics have kicked in. Weird.

That's more than I do. I'm leaning towards just sticking them in a cup of water. I took some cuttings from my Tropicanna Banana mother and put them in a jar of water. It's been a few weeks but they're rooting. I'm not even putting them under any lighting. They just sit on the shelf out of the way of the kids. No direct sunlight or any such luxuries lol. They look a bit beat up but they're gonna make it. They're in the window for the pic to make use of the light but normally its up on the shelf away from destructive hands....

Hi Carcass, just trying to catch up. Do you keep your clone in that clear cup, or do you put the clear cup into a solo cup? Is that plain water, or do put something in the water?
I really like your simple do-or-die method. I'd like to try that.

Hi, John- Great to have you back!
That one started out in a little "vase" with plain tap water...when it started getting little root nubbies on the stem, I stuck it in the solo cup and fed it the equivalent of 1g/gal of Mega Crop.
I do keep that clear solo cup in a regular cup to block the light.

That particular clone is still at the "might live, might not" phase,so the jury's still out on that one.
@ProfessorFlora starts his clones in water before he sticks them into the soil, and it seems to work real well for him, so I decided I'd give that a try- although, I've also had good results (x2) just sticking them into wet dirt and forgetting about them for about 3 weeks (except to keep the soil damp) .

Hi john. Those all rooted fine in the end. It took 26 days with nothing but tap water (soft) and a glass. They just sat on the shelf away from direct light and children lol.

I still have 2 of those clones. One has become the new mother and the other is still in a glass and is growing very slowly. I just put some more cuttings from 2 different strains to see if it works again.

One has become the new mother
That's what my current clone attempt is for- I'll have to research how to keep it alive, healthy, and small
for an extended period. (if it makes it that far).
I wouldn't bother with it,but the "host"(?) plant turned out to be some very good smoke,so I'd like to keep it going for awhile if I can.

I'm finally seeing a little bit of amber on the Alaskan Purple ,so it looks
like tomorrow will be harvest day- It's a little late today, so it'll happen tomorrow morning first thing...

She'll be 104 days old,flowering for 67 days.

Sorry for the pic quality-had to use the camera because my usb microscope is a p.o.s.
apx. 5% amber right now, there might be a little more by tomorrow morning (these appeared virtually overnight)

So I'll post up some harvest pics tomorrow, after the deed is done.
I usually don't look forward to trim jail...but there's not a helluva lot else to do right now, so I'm going to do my best to enjoy it.... whoooppeee!!!
