CaptainLucky's First Indoor Golden Tiger Grow 2023

He could probably use CO2 at 90ºF (32.2ºC), but I don't think a CO2 bag in there will do much to happy up the plants. I'd be happy to be proved wrong though!

You have to run it up way past very harmful to human levels (4000pm) before it becomes a detriment it my understanding. The higher temps, light levels, Rh are lacking its just a waste of perfectly good Co2 deployed ineffectively is my understanding. But some bags aren’t gonna hurt. Its just naturally composting organic matter like in nature.

The Shedster wrong? I don’t think so. Lmao 😂 CL🍀

Update: I received my fan hose pretty late so I didn’t have a chance to get them hooked up. I been having to open up my tent every 15 minutes to keep the temperature under 90! I also figured out that whatever plant is closest to the humidifier gets droopy so I’m now having to rotate them. I’m going to start training them tomorrow, it’s just been one of those days. Almost forgot to water them but they were all fed their usual diet of @Prescription Blend a little later than usual. They all are looking healthy n happy but will be happier with some training. So until tomorrow that’s it. Remember to support the sponsors and get involved in the community n nominate + vote the contests. CL🍀

I've got some training ideas you can consider:

Bend your two tallest branches into the circle but so they pass each other rather than bump heads:

LST train the top and tie it down with string or pipe cleaner. Bend it slowly over a few days(!) and push it gently over the side of your finger to soften the stem before each bending session. Not a supercrop:

Supercrop your two tallest branches into the middle like you did with the GT:

You're good without CO2 up to the mid 80s so don't worry about that. Plants actually prefer it over 80 during lights on, and ideally there's about a 10° difference between warmest and coolest.
I thought I would be wanting to open up the middle with carhooks or supercropping on my CT. Why do you think it’s better to fold them into the middle? Just curious Sensei. CL🍀

I also could use a better drawing of how the branches will look on my GT. Thanks CL🍀

I'm trying to fill in the center and keep everything from getting too wide. If the middle wasn't empty it would be different, but always keep in mind that car hooks and LST in general makes for wide plants. That's fine if you have the room though.

Many quadlines are grown straight up once they reach the edge of the pot to save space. Like Dutchman's here:

Assuming that the two with white lines are your tallest branches (hard to tell from the angle of that pic):

Now I know what we’re trying to accomplish and why. Your explanation was easily understood and I thank you Sensei. CL🍀

hey captain will u do a journal on your outdoor garden if so , plants under the sun are a joy to see :peace:
Yeah I’m going to do a Myco challenge/outdoor journal. I’m thinking about starting them under my @Mars Hydro TS-600 and then hardening off to move outdoors. CL🍀

Update: I did some training on my CT and almost snapped a branch but a little tape n she should be ok. I have both fans venting because with 80 degrees outside temp it just gets hotter if I try blowing outside air in. I fed all my ladies their usual diet of @Prescription Blend and they all look 👀 healthy. Still no change in the color of my CT but prolly going to be a few more days before I know the percentage change helped. I’m waiting on a perlite delivery before I start the Solo challenge. And one more day my popped beans will only be longer. I’m looking forward to flipping the girls then I won’t have so many hours of the light 💡 on. That’s all for now so until tomorrow remember the Sponsors and don’t be a dead beat member, get involved in the contests. Nominate, vote for your favorites. CL🍀

Update: I did a little training to my Panama today ( hopefully it’ll make her not so blah looking 👀).And of course all the ladies were fed their specific diet of @Prescription Blend. Tomorrow I’ll start doing more training on my GT. All of the girls are doing well and so far they seem to have adjusted well to the temperatures getting warmer in the tent. Ace seeds says that they all really have a high tolerance for heat and some are very cold tolerant also which is surprising considering that they all come from Tropical climates. I’m also considering starting all of them on the @Sierra Natural Science 209 Systemic Pest Control because I’m seeing a lot of insect activity outside on my deck. Spring is here in the Windy City and that means pests. Until next time please remember that it’s the Sponsors that make @420 Magazine possible for us and nominate, enter and vote in the contests. Wishing everyone a kick-azz weekend. CL🍀 :thanks: :cheesygrinsmiley::420:

After you bend on the GT you should probably figure out when you're going to upcan.

Also, can you slide the string further out on the Panama?

FFD9F652-7CB5-4CF6-8C49-819B2B5060A7.jpeg

The stem is thinner there so it will bend more easily, and the idea is to eventually get it lower than the nodes below it.
Yes on the Panama and I’m gonna have to order some lime first so I can reuse last year’s soil. I’m also still waiting on my perlite to be delivered. Zon are such liars with their delivery times. CL🍀
