I hate these kinds of fungi!!!
And the bud was outstanding, like f@cking thing doesn’t feed on the lower buds it goes straight for the AAA.

I hope you can get it under control. The plant should be isolated to avoid proliferation in other plants. And I would even empty the grow space and sanitize with isopropyl or any other product that can kill 99% of spores… because the spores are their brother.

I can’t isolate without it being under any light but I removed more than was necessary. Anything above the rot was removed. I have a copper soap spray coming Tuesday. And I have a big oscillating fan in there now. I removed the yo-yo’s and wiped with alcohol. I also wiped down the whole closet. I have the humidity under control now so I think I’m gonna be alright. Fingers crossed anyway. CL

Sorry to read this Capt. I hope you can cut it all out. I have never delt with rot before so I do not even know what you can do beside cutting. With all the time and energy, you put into your plants you do not disserve this. I will pray for your plant.

Hope you have a most super excellent day today and yesterday was just a lesson learned and any negative energy has moved on and away from you.

Gosh, I know I had to cut like a quarter to .5 OZ off one of Spicoli's big old mains a few months back...sucked but it happens sometimes in the big buds like was said, usually....mind you, I had fans and a dehuey and my exhaust and it still happened.

I never lost anything to bud rot until then but because I was told to look every day when the tent is so packed, I found it and found it early and that's what matters. You found it early and it didn't spread far and you can move gingerly on your way now through harvest

Hey Jersey have you ever used Capt. Jack’s Copper Spray? It says you can use it up to harvest. I’ve used his Neem but never needed the Copper. Btw I was so pissed yesterday I went overboard on the removal. 2” below and everything above is gone. I wasn’t going to chance it spreading. I took the entire tops of the colas off. Poor plant looks uglier than 3 legged hairless dog. lol CL

Morning Update: The oscillating fan wouldn’t work in the closet so I replaced it with a small box fan. The aftermath of me getting rid of the fungus makes my poor Panama look deformed. But I think now at least I got a handle on it. I also have a copper soap fungicide coming tomorrow, not taking any more chances with that . Hope everyone had a nice weekend and a great week. Morning Update: I’m very happy to announce that my exhaust fan was an overnight success and that the RH is no longer a problem. I have to admit that it makes hearing the T.V. a bitch but the white noise makes me sleep longer so it was a double success. My closet Tiger is now acting like my tent Tiger with some of the sugar leaves drying out. I’m not sure if this is just something that Golden Tiger does but it takes away from its beauty. All of the buds are getting heavier and I’ll have to be tying up branches. But it’s not a bad problem to have. lol I’m going to scope my Chocolate Thai and Panama later today and I will post some pictures. I hope everyone is having a great weekend and grow. Sorry buddy haven’t had any experience with it.
Citric acid and SNS I used.
But it’s a serious problem so take it seriously.
Don’t be shy about attacking the issue head on , eradicating is paramount.
I lost a few pounds to it last year.

I’ve been looking around @ different sites and I don’t think you should use it on buds. I’ve read about using peroxide and an other about baking soda but Idk. CL

I used baking soda on my plant last year and the pistils turned brown. I may have used to much, but I will never use it again in flower.
