In the past when I've had rot indoors, I've managed to sort out by removal and close inspection. I've continued for several weeks after finding it with very little more loss. Now that your humidity is down, then it shouldn't spread too much further, if at all. The spores are all around us, but they only becomes a problem when conditions, ie humidity, are good for it.I knew this was gonna happen damn it. What happens if I cut it off and chop it now? Prolly wouldn’t be very good weed? I’m f- ing pissed! CL
So you have to cut off the whole bud or just 2” inches above n below? CLIn the past when I've had rot indoors, I've managed to sort out by removal and close inspection. Look for sugar leaves that appear dead and give them a little tug. If they come away very easily then that's a sure sign of rot inside the bud.
Wear gloves and clean all tools with alcohol.
The 2 inch above and 2 inch below rule used to break my heart. 6-7 inches out of my best colas! But smoking bud rot is no joke.
I really hope you can get it sorted brother.
Sorry been away from my phone for a while. Just cut out the rot, right down to the stem, 2 inches above and 2 inches below. No need to bin the whole cola. Must be sure to inspect all the plant and especially that cola often. So you have to cut off the whole bud or just 2” inches above n below? CL
I already dumped what I cut off and it was the tops of several fat colas. I also decided since they’re close to chop and everyone says how great droughting is that I’m not going to water it anymore. CLDid you look up botryprot? That's what it's called in Spain but there must be a similar product in the US.
If it can prevent it spreading further them it ought to be worth checking out.
I've been lucky that I've not experienced but rot in many years, but remember well how sad I was looking at several ounces of otherwise top quality indoor bud about to go on the bin.
I believe that you can do an extraction with rot affected weed, but I can't recall which one, ¿possibly bho or alcohol. I'm sure someone with more knowledge could answer that.
I looked it up and it’s in the Balkans so basically by the time it would get here it would be too late . CLDid you look up botryprot? That's what it's called in Spain but there must be a similar product in the US.

Copper sulphate is poisonous I believe and therefore I doubt it can be used in late flowering. I think some of the farmers here use it on their grapes but not during fruiting.I’ve been looking at copper sulfate spray and I think it’s a good treatment for it but I’m not sure about flowering. CL
Copper octonoate or copper soap it says. And it can be used up to the day of harvest. CLCopper sulphate is poisonous I believe and therefore I doubt it can be used in late flowering. I think some of the farmers here use it on their grapes but not during fruiting.
Please check it out though, as its only my belief; I'm no expert on such things.
I have a fan in there and an exhaust fan too. The RH doesn’t get above 52% now. CLCool! Though now your humidity is corrected it shouldn't be a problem.
It's worth perhaps upping the air circulation as well?. My old indoor room was like a hurricane in the end!
