oh, I left one without any defol for a end comparison on yield.

While I've not done that little test myself, I've seen it done quite a few times.
I suspect you be doing regular defoliation in the future.

I defol in a random/organic way. When I dig into the bloom or veg room for any reason, I keep an eye out for fan leaves blocking lower growth and pull them as I run across them. It's less dramatic and I don't feel so bad about doing it.

i repotted 6 more clones i got 10 clones going in veg. and i have 5 going on in bloom, fixin to be six after i take critical+ #2 in there tonight

Having some camera issues, pics soon i hope. I have a issue with lighting. Should i leave the Mars Hydro 900 going or should i put the 600 HPS back in. The temps are starting to drop and i have to keep the intake turned off with the LED. I have a brand new bulb for the HPS and i can run intake with it turned on. I have 6 plants under the one light and they are a little crowded. I have plenty of room in the 4x8 tent but the light coverage seems a little less with the LED compared to the HPS. I want to spread the plants out but i feel like running both lights would be overkill. What would ya'll do in this situation?

Run both lights, get the best from both of them. Worst thing to happen is you get bigger buds and more lol. Peace!!

Damn! I guess i will hook up the HPS tonight and do some rearranging. Gonna be a busy night and a bright tent!!!

As long as you can manage the heat off that hps i figure both will be fine if you think your plants can manage all that light as well.

ok, i hooked up the HPS. By the end of the week the temps outside are going to be 35/20 for highs and lows. My intake comes from directly under the house, i could redirect it to come from inside the house but i would have to put some kind of filter or screen in it seeing how i have pets. I dont want lots of hair sticking to my buds. Anywho, there is now plenty of light in the tent, there are three plants under each light.

I would suggest if your worried about pet hair in the first place you should go to youtube and search pigeons420 budwashing, he is a fellow grower here on the 420 mag and has been doing a video journal/tutorials for awhile now

i am having to water everyday now. The Hempys are really drinking heavy, if i skip a day the leaves start drooping a bit and the bucket is very light. I am going to buy a new camera to update some photos, please be patient with me, sorry its been so long.

Hey man its all good we will all be here waiting lol. Ya don't give hempys a dry period like in soil bad things happen i been there myself walked into the veg box one day and found a super drooped plant that i went to long without watering lol

Im gonna switch up a little on this Hempy grow. I bought some Jiffy seed starting mix. This stuff is really nice, its about 5 buck for a 12 quart bag but i think it will be well worth it. I will mix it 50/50 with perlite when i transfer my clones into it. Has anyone else had experience using Jiffy Seed Starting mix? Let me know your results.

well i finally have a few photos for yall. I have the Swiss Cheese clones that are now 40 days in flower. I also have 1 mataro blue, 2 critical +, and 1 lemon skunk that are 9 days in flower. I had to take the plants out of the tent because lights are out so they are droopy from being asleep. I will take more photos tonight with the lights on.
