Hi Canna, the pollinating tutorial was amazing. I am really excited to see the money you print...Uhhh I mean lovely seeds you produce

I am jealous you found the heat trays for under the pots. I am very happy with how my homemade ones are working. I know that a member named HashHound had roots come right out of his smart pots, I think it was suggested that the pots were close with a full canopy, so it was dark and moist enough I suppose.

This is the gangly looking white widow, her pistils want to push straight up for some reason

Plants are drawing increased amounts of nutrients as they build flowers....they want some nitrogen. Like I've said before, I like to give em some urine....diluted of course.....to zap em if I need a quick reaction!

Thanks Mcloadie, I will look into other kinds of nitrogen. Serious question here, chicken poo is full of nitrogen....think it would help if I added some of that to the top of the soil? I have a barn stall full of it. LOL

I've been reading that it can be diluted somewhat with water like a tea and added to the plants, providing you don't have any danger of diseases from your fowl. Which I did not. They were healthy as could be.
I might give it a try and see what happens. ;-)

I will try a very light mix and see what happens.

Dang I forgot one of the pics, nothing real different...but I feel like I cheated the thread. LOL

When I try to take pictures with my phone and use the zoom button, it turns the pictures into a greenish yellow cast. I have to go back to home and then start the camera function over to get a true color before that green/yellow tints starts. Anybody else have this problem?

I haven't as yet, but I will check that out. I have lots of velcro at home in all kinds of widths. This is a perfect opportunity to use up all the sewing materials I have left in the house. LOL
