If any of you are going to do the fabric grow pots that I did the DIY write up on, just a heads up that I was a wascawy wabbit and scwued up on the type of thread I said to use. Should have been to use the Polyester, not the nylon thread. Polyester is what resists mildew and weathering etc.
Unfortunately I can't change that little error on the DIY thread, there is no option to edit it now.

my bad I may have suggested that... I used it on my cammies and tactical gear when repairing them nylon does with stand a lot apparently not mildew

Actually, it was an error on my part USMCO...I had used the polyester thread on my cannabags..but when I did the write up I got it backwards and said to use nylon.
So it's MY Bad and you CAN'T have it!

I have read only one person mention that, I think it was Mcloadie yesterday. I will have to wait and see, but I think with the bottom lifted off the surface...it might prevent that? Not sure. I'll pop around the net tonight and see if there is any feedback on that subject.

When the first round of bad storms got us this afternoon, the sun peeked out for a while and blessed us with a beautiful double rainbow! The sunset right now is tremendous in color. More storms coming. ahhhhh pbbbbllllltttt!!!

About your question regarding the roots growing through the bags you will be fine with the cooling racks...as long as the bags aren't sitting in water or soil and they are large enough for the plants root ball you won't have a problem with them growing out of the bag

When you have the bags completed also think about some sort of stand you can place under them to allow for better drainage. If you place them directly on the drain tray the bottom of the bag will stay saturated and I have found the roots will grow through the bottom of the bag making for a messy clean up when you go to use them again

But there are many things that will work...I'm sure you will come up with a great idea

Just giving you a heads up...and another project

My flowers are starting to get brownish pistils, I assume that's normal for the flower period I'm in? Day 31-ish

Round 2 is hitting us now. Geez, that wind is incredible. One half of an oak tree down in the back yard.....

Thanks Danklover! I was getting a little nervous that eveybody thought OH OH on me. LOL I'm looking forward to this part too. Colorful and I'm noticing a much different aroma...can't explain it yet. But it isn't unpleasant by any means.
