Hey canna, I do know that males are smoked when being considered as breeding subjects, IDK if we would notice the effects with all the top shelf weed we smoke....LOL!

Hey, just in case you might be interested Donpaul.p has a project/experiment going on that is focusing on super males....males that turn hermie and making seeds.

He's pretty busy with some things right now, but once he gets rolling this should be very informative and interesting to watch.

Okay, one thing accomplished this morning. I have my MK pollen all ready for storage. I put it in a small seed jar that I got from a nursery a and I put a couple grains of rice in it to soak up any moisture. I will put it in the fridge until I'm ready for it.

Are you actually going to make a run of seeds this first round? Your girls look very fertile at the moment. 24-32 days is a good window to brush on pollen.

I just can't sit still. LOL
I did get the veggie room completely scrubbed down and bleached up ready for the clones to go in there. I didn't want any pollen residue left anywhere! Three more Cannabags done. And a little defol here and there and tucking big leaves. The flowers are looking great! It's amazing how fast they mature.

I also hit the dollar store today and found some cooling racks with little "feet" and some long aluminum trays that have about an inch lip to them, they both came in two packs. I will set the fabric pot on a cooling rack that sits in the aluminum pan for drainage.

put a little ribbon or tie around the branch so you have it marked easy to identify should the timing of harvest and seed maturity be a hair off come Yuletide.

Rock and roll canna......get in there and do it! I got my plant stands from the dollar store, they had em with and without wheels. I only use stands for fabric pots....the nursery pots are set up for circulation underneath. I grew a plant outdoors in a fabric pot and it grew into the dirt and when I moved it I ripped the roots out of the soil...OUCH!
