Cannafan's Perpetual Grow - Where Everything Changes - Autos - Photos - Seeds & More!

re: Cannafan's Perpetual Grow - Where Everything Changes - Autos - Photos - Seeds & More!

Ya know, there is a sponsor here, SCROGCO, that sells ready made Porta-SCRoG rigs and they look very nice. Four of the 21" x 21" units would be fantastic in a 4 x 4 grow space.

SCROGCO

Kind of a crazy web site. There is no online ordering or pricing that I can see.

I'm going to stop and see my Hero (my Pops) on the way to work today. I just KNOW he has some fencing around there that isn't chicken wire. ;-)
We'll see what I can scrounge up from him.

Those scrog units at that site are awesome PeeJay!

Sue, obviously this is a test function going on....so don't follow my model with any major work. LOL

I should have chopped those two plants on Tuesday, like I wanted.
I absolutely have to get them chopped tomorrow. The amber is spreading, but in addition to that I was right on watching those tippy tops on the Buddha plant.

See the nanners? (near top and below)

I'm resizing some pics, will have them up shortly. :)

WARNING

The following images contain plant nudity, and suggestive violence.

Viewer discretion is advised.

Chop day is here. Some fairly quick pics. First up, I have taken the bondage off Buddha and have removed the larger leaves. She'll be cut shortly, trimmed up some more and then hung to dry. Seems a shame for her to finally be released from her bondage and then just be kilt.....

Next, White Widow Feminised Clone. This plant is just wild. I haven't chopped the leaves yet, but will be doing that shortly. I wanted to get a before/after pic to see what happens after the haircut:

I hope to get more pics posted after they are complete. :)

great looking specimens you have there, Canna....what a great day for a chop...on a quiet insular day in the middle of a snow storm....

I'm going to install a new T8 in the veg room and move the spendy LED into the flower room with the others.....then, whip up a batch of 5 alarm chili with some crusty bread, light a fire, and then tune in to the MSU/Ohio State game.....GO GREEN!

Here's White Widow after clipping all the larger leaves. There is so much sugar on the leaves that are remaining...I'm thinking I'll just cut the little tips off and leave it be.

Wow, T8. That's nice. :) I really miss my T5 light, it was so versatile and did a great job for vegging.

You reminded me that I needed to get something going for dinner. I came up with a "throw this and that in" goulash, and it wasn't bad at all. Thanks for the push. :)

The snow has ended for the moment, but Lake effect will take over soon. Not too much on the ground, couple of inches at the most, but it's a heavy wet snow. Would be awesome for a snowman or two!

Keep warm and GO GREEN!

Oh, for the rest of the gang as well here. When I started snippin' the leaves on the Buddha I found several more seeds started. They were quite small and green yet. I couldn't have let it go much longer, I'm glad I chopped today.

I want to see what happens to those now that the plant is chopped down. I'm a curious monster.....have you guessed that? :tokin:

I'm pretty sure another White Widow feminised is coming down tomorrow as well. I don't have to work until early evening, so there will be plenty of time.

Looks like a beautiful many headed Japanese style dragon. I can practically see faces. Thanks for such great viewing! They are absolutely gorgeous!

dang, Canna, lots of luscious buddage on that plant...yum yum....8 + inches here and still falling....I had to drag a full size ladder out (after a 3 step ladder) to broom off my TV and internet satellite dishes 4 times today!......

Let me run something by you....this T-8 fixture has either the worst engineering housing for the 4 actual lamps, or I am dumber than a mud fence....you tell me.....my first foray with this type of fixture....instructions say, put the 2 prongs into the vertical slots on each side and rotate 1/4 turn....okay, fine.....

I did that when the fixture was upside down, so I put the cross hatch cage in place, flipped the light over to hang, and all 4 bulbs came out of the housing....couldn't secure them on both sides to save my life and when I half assed did, fired it up and couldn't get any of the bulbs to fire up full throttle.....they are definitely the right size....I checked the packaging and the sales guy helped me select both from Home Despot....GGGRRRRR

There was no "click" to let me know that the bulbs were secure in the housing....and it was so loose that I wondered if I had to tape them in place.....not a good idea when dealing with melting and electrical inside the house....your thoughts.....?

Hey Sis, I had a little trouble with installing the bulbs the first time on the T5 as well. Is it the bulbs that seem loose or the connections they go into? If it's the bulbs, then you haven't inserted those pins on both ends correctly.

Be sure you are inserting each end the same when you start them, push a bit to be sure they are in there and then turn the bulb being sure both ends are turning. Mine didn't click either, I had to look at the positions of the pins when I had done the turn. It seems I had to go a half turn....not sure on yours without being there to see it.
It can be tricky.

That's about all the help I can give over the net. LOL

You'll get it going, sometimes it helps to just walk away for a little while when things are frustrating, and try again later.

:circle-of-love:

Oh, just a thought...check to be sure the opening for the pins on the bulbs is in the correct position (open position) at the insert connector. Seems like mine had something like that, I had to turn it to the open position.....I think....
