There are some very disturbing things going on in our state with medical marijuana right now.....a meeting in Lansing on Tues had the head of the MI prosecutors and the head of the MI sheriff's department in a closed session with no citizens allowed wanting to do away with our state's medical model completely after legalization.....I came unglued and about had a heart attack....any growers must be registered as tier 1 (500 plants), tier 2 (1000 plants), or tier 3 (1500) plants with steep licensing fees, of course..... and charge 14% tax at the dispensaries..leave it to the law to want to screw up a system that is working 7 years in and allows caregivers to gift free meds to our patients while covering our overhead costs as we stock the dispensaries in the area....

I've dusted off my activist hat and getting back to the real work.......GGGGGGGRRRRRRR......I could set a forest fire with my anger......

Sounds like they have figured out that a lot of money is going to fly by them once...or if...this is recreational legal. You know it's all about the money.
If we have to have a minimum of 500 plants, with the steep fees...you can bet we will not be able to provide anything to our patients, it will have to go to the dispensaries where patients will have to buy it. State controlled dispensaries, they might just as well put state employees in them because anyone working there or owning one is going to be a puppet on a string.
Huge cost plus the astronomical tax, means only the rich will be able to enjoy the benefits of this medicine. How perfectly typical!
I wish I was closer to Lansing.

UPDATE FLOWERING GIRLS 11-15-15

I will probably do this in three posts, here are the girls in general.
First up is THC Bomb. This monster is constantly thirsty. I go down there every morning and see her wilting again, give her a drink and she perks back up until the next morning. LOL Every time I tilt the pot, it's light. Thirsty, hungry girl.

UPDATE FLOWERING GIRLS 11-15-15 ClOSE UP's

Harvest will be on Tuesday for two of the girls. White Widow Clone and Buddha. They both have some amber, and I found a danged nanner on White Widow, which I promptly removed. (only one and I scrutinized every bud on her after that one)

The really close shots of trichomes are blurry, but I posted them anyway because you can really make out the amber on them better:

Not real sharp on the photo, but White Widow was sticking her tongue out at me. I thought it was cute.

Ooops! I almost forgot the update on Lil' Purp!

She's recovering well and has shed her droopy drawers. Her leaves are growing out and she seems to be quite happy now.
If I didn't know better, I would think there are trichomes on those leaves already. They are awfully sparkly viewing up close. LOL I'm going in for a loupe shot shortly to see.....

Well, I still cannot discern whether those dots are very early trichomes or not. She is an Auto, and will certainly flower faster than regular plants.

One thing for sure, she is a hairy girl.

Ever have one of those days where you were enlightened to one thing, indirectly by another?
It's been an odd day.

I went on a memory lane trip for a few minutes and ran into these pictures. A reveg plant in June of last year, named "B59" in honor of Bassman59 when he fell victim to the drug laws. This brought very positive thoughts back to me on things I had been pondering.

Thought I would share, for those of you who weren't following along with me at the time, to enjoy the "true" colors:

Just beautiful pictures Canna. I drool when I see your photos.

When you get the Wild Thailand Ryder, remember she will add anxiety to your day. Mine took about 70 days from planting the seed to harvest. Lots of bud sites on my plant. Got about 5 pounds of butter's worth of sugar leaves in the freezer, I make mine potent too. I freeze and vacuum pack rather than dry. She didn't get as tall as my second Fast and Vast; 5'10", but gave nearly as much bud weight.

Remember to mix with an indica, mine is a Red Poison Auto by Sweet Seeds is also available from Herbies. She takes about 60 days from seed to harvest. The color is amazing. Mixing with Wild Thailand Ryder can be pretty psychedelic, hallucinatory. It calms down the anxiety when I use it 3 to 1.

I hope you can find the Magic Beans bag. It is about 15 years old, or more. Got it when the kids were small. Good luck.

Canna, your pictures are stunning. Your plants matured overnight, it seems! :laughtwo: It always seems like that to me. Excellent work girl.

I'm sorry to hear Michigan is going crazy. It's unfortunate that we have to go through these growing pains, but in the end I think th floodgates have blown open and it only a matter of time now. it's gonna be choppy now and again though. :straightface:
