Hi backatcha CM. :) It was so disappointing when I couldn't get those to germ before. I tried every trick in the book to get those to open properly. I really wanted to grow that strain!
I believe Heirloom is giving it a try too. I'll have to check to be sure, but I'm pretty certain.

One more dude goes up in flames.

I was right on the money thinking that one plant at the pond (THC Bomb x WW x MK) was acting awfully male. No pistils after all this time, and it just looked male-ish. Yepper, it's got balls-o-fire now:

The one at the house is certainly female. So, I think I only germed two seeds on this home grown strain. 50/50 male to female rate. :laugh:

She has really stretched tall, just like the mother plant did. The mother THC Bomb was an outdoor girl last year until the weather got bad, it was 7' tall when I brought her inside and I had to do a major bend to keep her from hitting lights in the basement cuz she kept growing. Lanky, but she sure produced some beautiful buds. Hoping the same for this one:

Well, Blueberry Cheescake has split her britches already. She's in a hurry! :laugh: She will go into paper towels tonight.

Everybody else has sunk...except the Purple Paralysis. I believe I had that trouble with the other ones too. I still have my fingers and toes crossed.

Don't forget males have more thc ppm in them than females (foliage) so seperate but don't throw away you can make some good butter or hash

I don't have anywhere to keep a male right now with plants all over the place outside and two inside. I won't take a chance on it right now. Had it been a different strain, I may have thought about it for the pollen for breeding.

I'm hoping at least one of the three White Widow regular seeds I have germing right now turns out male, I have plans to grow it out for pollen.

I wish we could buy male seeds just for this purpose. What would they call them mascinised....male-inised? :laugh:

Auto Fast n Vast x Master Kush is picking up speed. The leaves are yellowing despite the nutes she's been fed, I have to believe it's because she is spending her energy on those buds as she nears maturity.
I didn't find one single critter anywhere. YEY!

This Custard Cream, however, has no excuse. She's just a picky brat despite the nutes. We had rain overnight, so I'll have to let her dry out again before I give her another shot.

I want to see that too! Will you be vegging for a while on it? I am really interested to see if yours acts more Auto or more Photo. Mine was kind of a combo I think. I was able to veg quite awhile, which I liked. Once the flowering started, it went pretty fast. And I like that too. I will be watching closely. :thumb:

Weeelllll, the prognosis on the Purple Paralysis seed is not looking good. It developed a cloudy, slimy film around it just like the seeds before it. Sooo.....been there done that, I tried something to help it along early this time. I scraped it ever so lightly along the edges and put in the paper toweling. I'll check it in the morning, if it hasn't cracked yet I'll try something else.

I'm growing it as an auto. The other seed has a short tap root in paper towels and gets one more day before it hits soil. So hopefully I'll have two and I sure hope to see auto. Otherwise, they will have a short veg life and goes 12/12 when the others are ready. In any event it will finish on 12/12 light schedule like my first autos.

Autos have their place in our grows but have a mind of their own as you already know.

Trust me....it has it's own array of....shall we say...opportunities?

I hate politics! But, yeah.....it's been challenging for sure. :laugh:

I was going to give a couple outdoor girls a shot of SNS nutes this morning, but it's looking like rain again.

I am going to add some Yum Yum to the pot on the Custard Cream, and will be gathering up some worm poo from the planter out front. We'll see what that does. I could use some of the poo on the two indoors as well I guess.

Well, as weird as it sounds...(and I've seen some very weird things lately...on site and off), I seem to have won the war on the Thrips on ONE plant. The White Cookies plant had zero thrips on her, and I went through every leaf and up/down the stems. This is weird because she is literally in touching range of the other plant. The other one had several that I had to squish (did you know those things can jump??) and I found several on the stems.

I took a cotton ball soaked with the sns 217 and rubbed it the full length of the stem to see if it will take care of what is remaining there. I think they will be gone completely within a couple of days between the 217 and the Neem oil mixture.

We're getting there.

I haven't found ANY on the outdoor plants. So I am convinced that these things got in here from a cutting of a flowering tree I got from my Mom a couple months back that had been sitting in the kitchen window to root.
That is planted outside now, I wound up with two cuttings that rooted incredibly well. But, there apparently was a small price to pay for that. :laugh:
