Okay, so Mr. mole put a hole under the herbs this time. LOL I'm working overtime this weekend, but not as many hours, so major planting will go into effect.

Thanks Jamthe3, I like the castor oil mix the site spoke of.

I did go out and plant the Garlic and the chives (the site you provided also talks of Allium) around the perimeter a few minutes ago, lots of them along with the rest of my herbs.
I may mix up some of the castor oil and Murphy's oil soap mix and spray the perimeter with that over the weekend too, soaking the main travel hole (s) outside the haven too. I want to be sure it is far enough away from the girls though.

I will be putting some Juicy fruit gum down the main travel hole too. That's a long time method that my Dad has used.

Hey Hey, What Can I Do does it for me.....takes me back to good good sweet memories of my youth....I saw the Beatles live as a very young un....I was a singer and dancer in school, in rock bands as lead singer and the star in junior high plays...Bye Bye Birdie...music has been a huge part of my life....and has been part of the fabric of my soul....play me a song and it takes me right back to the exact place and time when I first heard it....just marvelous...

When it was a young girl my older brother got the bedroom in the basement. It was separate from everyone else, and therefore special. Bill's basement window opened onto the alley that ran between our house and the neighbor's. When he played music it reverberated up through that space and filled the house with whatever he was playing.

That was Bill's country western stage. I grew up singing all the classics. "Our little boy is four years old...." OMG, I love me some classic country western. Mother was into Jim Reeves at the same time. Then the Beatles hit and rock became the standard. I had an eclectic musical upbringing, especially when you factor in my A Capella religious experience.

I just recently allowed myself to return to music. All these years caring for Dale it got lost somehow. Now my soul wakes up every morning looking for the next song to sing. What a strange twist that this should be the case as he reaches his end.

I hate to admit it but classic old country and western makes my ears bleed...:straightface: I love most every kind of music from classical to hard rock but that twangy country stuff makes me want to scratch my ear drums out... You'll never guess what fella's favorite music is...:blushsmile:... Yep old twangy country and western....:circle-of-love:

I was watching videos of him yesterday and thinking how he makes my blood dance. :laugh:

This video of Beth gives me chills every time I watch it. The woman is amazing.

seeing the Beatles awakened my consciousness....then Viet Nam happened and my world exploded via music....I was a passionate activist from the get go....I wanted to go to Woodstock in the worst way, but I was too young, no license, from a very conservative midwest family....I remember the morning of Kent State like it was yesterday as a very young girl all plastered on the front page of the newspaper, I felt the seriousness of it....my rebel was born and really has never gone away...

we did, and I wear it like a badge of honor....I am so friggin proud to be a baby boomer...what a time to come up in....and what we went thru allowed us to change the world...and reinvent ourselves...and come full circle...and fight like hell in spirit....we have rocked it and I am so happy...the music left behind says it all.....
