Does that mean I have to go back to all the posts where I refer to you and add an update?

I'm still calling you 'OilCan' cuz you can't stop me!!!
My newest friend with cancer OD'd on the oil her very first time. High anxiety. She's been smoking since the 60's and thought, even against my warnings, that her tolerance was high and she could do a large tack to start. She fell asleep and wakened 3 hours later, anxious as hell and not liking it so much as she thought she would! She wants to take a few days off to clear her system and start again with half or less a dose size. We'll see what she does, but what a bummer for her. She has breast cancer that has metastasized all over her body. She's between chemo and radiation for the third time and doesn't want to continue with that option. She's a hundred miles away from me, but we spent a lot of time on the phone and she read the tacking thread here, so I don't know what else I could have done to prevent the OD. She's a retired physician and has read about the oil, but obviously didn't think it was so strong. I see we must be careful of folks having a little information besides what we present to them. I sure hope she gives it another chance.
Any input on what I might have done better with her? I thought I had it covered......not!

I just made up a couple pints of Glycerine Tx. yesterday and now I see why someone mentioned just turning the jar upside down everyday as opposed to shaking it up. This is some seriously thick gooey syrup, you couldn't shake it if you tried. If you let it sit for an hour or so the cannabis rises to the top and I have about 3/4" to 1" of brown oil on the bottom. I'm hoping this method eliminates all of the chlorophyll taste. As far as pressing goes...
Which makes sense as that is very dense syrup.
The everclear however is very thin so I am seriously thinking a french press. At least to get the bulk of it out.
Hey john buddy. I had the same issue with a lady with lung cancer. I opted for Cajun's Canna-Flax-lecithin protocol, even thou he stated the "high" will be more immediate and onset. I used 1/2 gram caps opposed to the 1 gram caps which she could take several times a day without feeling Uncomfortably "High". I was using a Cannatonic strain with a bit of Blue Dream so it was not overly over powering, she now has made the transition to CCO but continues to take the flax caps also. Doctor was only giving her a month back in October and here we are in March, I dear say something is working. Another lady with breast cancer ( which I substituted the flax with extra virgin olive oil) had an issue with "burping" up the oil since she was receiving Chemo at the time of taking the the caps, so I we went with the CCO only till symptoms of the poison has subsided considerably. This is just a suggesting since peoples tolerance is difference as we all know but it worked for her. In the words of Cajun....Keep on Keeping on!My newest friend with cancer OD'd on the oil her very first time. High anxiety.
