So did you decarb it first or take the resultant and cook it down?
Yeah!!! Good to hear.. that's the plan.
Everclear is a bit much to add to anything but a tall glass of juice. But glycerin...man that stuff is tasty. I just wonder how long on the glycerin. The video I watched he said he was doing it 6 months turning it upside down daily. I don't mind the wait but I don't want to wait for no reason.
I bought out all they had at my Walmart and it wasn't enough for my jar. I found a gallon of glycerin on amazon for $14.49... So if all you do is as advertised and let it sit and you have stoney syrup you can drop anywhere well heck...Most people i think are using it to make vap oils for E cigs. So you can do what you like but a dab here and there on the go...sounds like just my thing.
I can't medicate right now anyway, probably not for another month and at that time my everclear should be good to go but it would be nice to have an idea about the glycerin.
I don't have my cheat sheets with me right now but if I remember correctly I believe I decarbed at 240 for 50-60 minutes. Not saying this is "THE" way to do it, just what I did.I have tried making vape juice with decarbed bud cooked in VG at 150F for 48 hours (using a light bulb as heat source.) I got a nice flavor but the pure VG did not seem to pick up any of the THC. A slight body buzz when drinking the VG. Chain puffing the vape just ended up burning my cotton wicks and creating lots of vape.
The Magical Butter basic tincture recipe suggests everclear and VG are interchangeable, so maybe it was a flaw in my decarb process.
