Cannabis Oil Users Cafe & Lounge

CCOiler, thanks for chiming in, Sue, thank you for your detailed attention to my dilemma, and Panacea, your pain is exactly like mine and here I have been alone suffering over this....today has been very eye opening and cathartic, like the dam just broke and I can allow myself to breathe again....talk about a load off.....I am so grateful to all of you....however, those of you growing in an illegal place, country, state, or province are the true heroes in my book....I have it easy and look at me whine.....oh lord, I just try the best I can and then think I'm never doing enough....thank you folks.... :thanks:

Excellent plan Shawnee. I knew I had a good chance to wake up the marketing genius. :laughtwo: I'd like to suggest a link to the thread on supporting the ECS without cannabis. These are things they need to incorporate anyway, so a little heads up and some encouragement to support the ECS with happier, less tension-ridden thoughts can go a long way, especially when offered with your special brand of compassion.

The loving guidance of a compassionate caregiver turns out to be more important in many cases than the medication being administered. Provocative thoughts.

Dang, Sue, I just noticed your new link....something else for me to educate myself with....thank you....I so love you and the people that contribute to this website....truly groundbreaking and cutting edge; it's tremendous to be on the leading edge of a movement that is not political for a change.....

When getting hay from my neighbor today (it's his sister who is coming over tomorrow) we talked about hemp becoming legalized in my state so I can convert my 10 acres from horse pastures to hemp growing and his mom and brother and himself, who live across the street from each other can convert their 100 acres from cow pasture and corn and soy to hemp.....theirs is a centennial farm where his grand dad used to have a dairy farm and all of the neighbors helped each other harvest back in the day.....we would all come together full circle over that and I would love love love to see this again in my lifetime....so old fashioned and such a throwback.....

Kingston, I think I've talked more today than I have since I joined 420 in 7-14...this has been quite the journey and as I evolve, serious issues have revealed themselves that are quite complicated....let that be mentioned on the record of this most incredible ride and making of history that I am so privileged to be a part of....

He can be hard to pin down, but Cajun mentioned something about Kentucky hemp being worth purchasing, despite his general admonition against hemp for medicine. There's something special about that hemp, but you know how cryptic he can be sometimes. Lol! Keeping us on our toes, he is. Haha!

Anyway, if you're planning a future in hemp I'd be trying to find out just what exactly makes that hemp from Kentucky something he'd consider and recommend.

Just a passing thought on my way to bed. Like KR I thank you for sharing this conversation with us today. It was very insightful, and gave me some thoughts in advance of my upcoming conversations in paradise. I want him to leave the island with a firm foundation of confidence.

Goodnight. That's about the fourth goodnight I've left. Do not return to Settings Susan! Go directly to bed woman! Lol! Signing off now. :hugs:

Now my moral dilemma is living in a illegal province and watching many people around my County being diagnosed with cancer and unfortunately passing away from it. I feel so compelled to help many of these strangers knowing the CCO protocol that all of you have put together could potentially save a life. Very frustrating when you are to paranoid to draw unwanted attention to your purpose in fear of prosecution. But it also sucks when you feel a little guilty that you did not bring the "CCO protocol" to someones attention after they have passed on, always thinking what if i knocked on the door and brought it to they're attention? would they of been sitting around the Christmas tree with the family this past holiday enjoying some drinks & laughs?...It can be very unsettling at times... Did not think being so compassionate can have it's consequences. /l\

This one I personally have no problem with, and it may be largely due to my spiritual nature. If you have no fear of death, but see death as a natural step to the beyond, then you feel no sense of conflict about anyone else passing. I figure if the universe brings us together there was something we each had to share. That doesn't mean any of my efforts, or lack of them, would have made any difference to someone else's longevity.

You can't carry the burden of life and death. That's not yours to control. You'll go quietly crazy holding on to that one.

Life and death go hand in hand. I've been lucky to be at peace with death most of my life. As I've gone along, caring for the grieving has evolved into its own art form.

We grow and we help where we're directed to. We do our best and we learn to let it go beyond that. It's more important that you keep your own emotional tone under control than you feel the need to save the world. Listen closely and you'll hear me giving myself the same pep talk. I still fall into patterns like everyone else. I just get out of there fast.

I very much to what you wrote.
I was in a VERY illegal state growing almost 70+ plants including clones/seedlings. Making CCO treatments too.
That alone was a 15 year min in state prison.

But, I had worked with quite a few people. I thought about getting involved with the legal med push, but what if I was spotlighted.

I moved. Lol.

I had a presentation plan, pertinent studies, oncologists' thumbs up, etc.
I'm surprised after all this time & so many patients that you are kinda where you are.
You should hook up with caregiver & mmj local groups asap. You can accelerate your knowledge 10 fold pretty quick.
Do you have terminal patients? What diagnosis do they have?

Have you gotten any local medical physicians to work with yet? That's usually a must.

:woohoo: I found my perch! Now I simply have to move heaven and earth, but that's child's play. :laughtwo: The hardest part was waiting for the perch to light up. :yahoo:

Ok, I'll settle down, but it's hard to contain the glee. It'll be in a legal state, and I'll be nosing around before I move about the possibility of starting small as a caregiver. Oooo..... So much to get done in advance.

Beyond terminal patients, I live in an area with a disproportionate elderly population and in an urban area wrought with poverty and all the attending maladies that accompany it. Before I fly off to my next perch I have a drive to at least develop some rudimentary informative packets on the ECS and the potential therapeutic values of cannabis to treat inflammatory response, not to mention the value of knowing you have this marvelous system inside you and ways you can support its function. I live within blocks of some major senior citizen organizations......

.....and I just realized I'm overlooking this population right in front of me because I don't really identify with growing older. :laughtwo: I've been actively growing younger since right before Dale died. Lol! How funny. Haha!

Ok, back to my sense of normal. I have some class ideas already forming. I'll be calling the head of the high rise residents committee. Hmmm.... I'll have to chase her down on the street.

See what you do to me mon ami? Always firing up these passions. :laughtwo: Stick around. You're a good influence. Now I get to develop that talk I keep giving to friends on the street. OMG, life is sweet. Teaching again in person. Oh my. That was unexpected. Lol!

Getting something very quick & to the point with survival percentages too.
Quick links to cases on social media.
Having the support of an organization like PACT, Patients Out of Time, etc. as well as caregiver groups that can give the latest info in this field.
An oncology nurse, nurse practioners, etc. on board is a must if you can.

Also, the amount of material available on current info about CCO as a treatment blew me away once I left my state.
Most of these publications have licensed physicians as contacts.
Most of these can be found online.
"Treat Yourself", "Doctors for Cannabis", etc. are some quick examples.

I see lots of folks getting wound up & caught in their own heads on lots of subjects. Makes it way harder than it needs to be.
Don't over think it too much.
But, honestly most of the answers are out there & progress every 3 months or so.

If you're not just caught up in the more vertebral issues too much, spend about 2 hours reading through the med journals & more importantly the current treatment info around the world today.
One publication will lead to several more sources.

It's seems like getting caught up how the ornamental stuff was attached to the first wheel.
Well, look at how the wheel is structurally & attached first right?
Anyway, I'll give anyone a few great sources of seriously interested. You'll freak out on how far this subject has actually come.
It makes Rick Simpson seem like from the caveman days.

Hizzy, you're a brave soul for taking all the steps that led up to this final step. May this be the last time you ever have to deal with this. May the CCO do all you need from it. This is so awesome I don't know what else to say!

Yeah, everything he said and more. :hugs:

Yes please. :battingeyelashes:  Anything dealing with the structure of that first wheel in particular. :cheesygrinsmiley: Trying to tie down the basics before moving on to those "ornamental attachments."
