Candy Canna Multi-Strain In Candyland

OK Candy,
here's something that should work OK. It's still light on the N, but better than the other calculations. Unfortunately we need to take out the Silca, but that's OK for now.

The chart below uses grams, so you are not going to measure mLs for any liquids. The liquids are measured by weight as well. Round the numbers up or down for convenience. Following the chart below you would be feeding 3.6 grams of MC and 1.5 grams of Flora Micro, per gallon. That's it.

When you are about to flip to flower, or get the N supplement, let me know so I can redo the recipe.
:thanks: I’ve got the other two in the 2x4 that were behind the bigger girls. They were on the same ratio of calmag and silica but only on 3.8gr/g MC . The SD isn’t looking any worse but the CK is a lil and I’m not sure how to calculate out that feed
Here’s a few pics of what I’m looking at

why the heck did they have to go and mess with a near perfect formula :lot-o-toke: I wanted and needed something cheap and simple..I’ll definitely have to figure out some other nute line for future grows such a shame it WAS cheap and simple. :( :thanks: Again!!!

For growers in need of more nitrogen in their grows, could these also be used to supplement the chosen nutes? Google says these are natural sources of nitrogen.

  • Bone meal and blood meal. ...
  • Planting beans. ...
  • Coffee grounds. ...
  • Leaves for mulch. ...
  • Aged chicken manure. ...
  • Fish emulsion. ...
  • Rabbit manure. ...

So I went to hydro shop and all they had were Micros for nitrogen other than a box of Feather meal @MrSauga

I meant Nature's Nectar. I've seen great results with it. That's the stuff in the last picture. You wont use much so it will last a long time.
I’m a dumb dumb and missed this but I did finally find it on the Zon. I already got that feather meal but I can hopefully return it and if not it wasn’t that much and maybe can use it in the composter or find someone who could use it.
Should I go ahead and order that Natures Nectar since it readily available as opposed to the slow release with the feather meal? I won’t be able to receive it until 1/3/22 so I’ll have to use that Flora micro in the meantime which is no biggie!
Thank you again so much as I really appreciate you and everyone else! This has just thrown me for a bit of a loop! Also sorry for all the posts! I just keep thinking of stuff I may have missed.

why the heck did they have to go and mess with a near perfect formula
Well they are always tinkering with it. The ideal ratio for K.Ca.Mg is 4.2.1, so if you have 10 parts K you want to have 5 parts Ca and 2.5 parts of Mg. Since the Ca is over 7% it's about a 3 to 1 ratio to the Mg. The K is at 17%, so really your Mg should be at 4% where it's only 2.8. The higher you start feeding the harder it is to keep those numbers in line with what a plant needs.
So it's not that it's a bad product, it's just that it can only go so far before you encounter issues.

Thanks HG. For Candy, she needs a fert that acts right away. Those take time to build up the N and used mostly with organic growing.

Yes, if you can return it great!

Exactly! it has to be readily available to the plant.

You haven't missed much at all. Your plants look fine. You can feed them all that recipe I gave you. I don't see any issue in doing that. Mix the GH stuff first then the MC.

As far as I'm concerned, this is the main purpose of a grow journal: figuring stuff out with help from more experienced growers. No apologies are necessary.

Merry Christmas to you and the family, candy!

:ciao: Slight Update ! The girls in the 4x4 seem happier as I haven’t noticed anymore damage so I cleaned them up a bit yesterday to enable better airflow and took off stuff I knew for sure wouldn’t make it to the top.
They have had 2 feeds with the new feeding of
1.5gr/g Micro, 3.6gr/g MC , 1 tsp/g Aloe, 1/2 Tsp/g Recharge.
They were a bit droopy in the pics yesterday because they needed a feeding. But they are perky today!
I’m planning on starting to shorten their days starting tonight.
I’ll be doing the post with the 2x4 girls in a separate post.
I hope everyone had a great Christmas!

The 2x4 girls seem to be doing ok. They have had 2 feeds now of the same feed as the other girls.
I noticed a couple of funky spots on a few of the leaves of the SD that I don’t remember being there a few days ago :hmmmm: For the most part the rest of her looks good, just those few leaves.
Here’s some pics I hope they came out ok!

Thank you all for stopping by, for your company and for all your helps! I appreciate y’all so very much and hope y’all have a great day! :peace::green_heart::Namaste:

All the plants look great, candy! I love the little stands you have for each of them. The tree is pretty, too.

They are big plants Candy. What size pots you have them in? I'll get a new recipe for you by tonight for when you are ready to use it during flower.
I’ve got them in 5 gallon fabrics. I’ll be bumping the light down to 16 hours tonight, 14 hours tomorrow then 12/12. :thanks: Again for all your help! I should be getting that Natures Nectar Nitrogen in on Jan 5th.
All the plants look great, candy!
:thanks:
I love the little stands you have for each of them
:thanks: I made those back when wood was cheaper and I was still heavier in to woodworking.
The tree is pretty, too.
:thanks::love:

Everything is looking real good, candy!
That Natures Nectar Nitrogen should have everything greened up in no time!
I used a gram of 32-2-8 lawn fertilizer to do the same thing- took about 4 days for the yellow to go away...

I’m sure hopin so :)

Very clever! I wish my brain worked like that!
You bet, and as Carcass said, it should help a lot getting things in check.
I’m excited to get them dialed in! :thanks:
Here's what you can use after you go to 14 hours, unless the N is in by then.

Again, these measurements are all in grams per gallon, even the liquids.
:thanks: Again! Just to clarify that’s 2.7gr/g Silica, 4.4gr/g MC, 2.5gr/g Micro ?
