Candy Canna Multi-Strain In Candyland

:ciao: I know I’m early for an update just trying to keep a good track of how the girls are doing. The 4x4 girls seem to be doing ok, nice and perky and I think the new growth is good from what I can tell. I had to put KKF on a shorter stool to make her the same height as the rest. She’s definitely growing different from the last one I grew. I think her her nodes are finally starting to get tighter.
They have had one feed of the new dose 2 days ago of 2.7gr/g Silica, 2.5gr/g Micro, 4.4gr/g Silica, 1tsp/g Aloe, 1/2 tsp/g Recharge.
They will have their 2nd dose tomorrow. They are also on day 3 of 12/12.
I’m gonna drop another round of pics and hopefully get some opinions of what y’all think. :nerd-with-glasses: I’ll have to make probably 3 posts so I apologize ahead of time for the amount of pics, I was trying to get different lighting angles to get the most accurate colors.

The 2x4 has me slightly anxious..:hmmmm: The leaf damage seems like it’s in more places now and she’s just not super perky.
The CK seems fairly discolored but it doesn’t seem as bad under different lighting. She is also just petite..like her stalks aren’t as big as they normally are at this stage of growing. She is the same age as GSC. She started out abnormally like I didn’t think she was going to make it cuz all she had was a lil bit of green on a stem not even an actual full leaf but then finally starting growing so I gave her a chance but now kinda wishing I would have kept the other one that I had. Not sure if it’s genetic or something I’m doing. :hmmmm:
They were originally on 3gr/g MC, 2mls/g Calmag and 3mls/g MC but started showing that they were still hungry and CK started doing what BK was doing so I bumped them to 3.8gr/g MC, 6mls/g silica,5mls/g calmag (they had one feed of that). I put a couple gallons of RO water thru them right before I fed them the new dose.
They have only had 3 feeds of 1.5gr/g Micro, 3.6gr/g MC, 1tsp/g Aloe, 1/2tsp/g Recharge
So as of today 8 days since first dose.
I could be anxious over nothing that’s why I’d like to get some thoughts on them.
Thank y’all for stopping by, your company and all the help! I hope everyone had a great Christmas and have a very Happy New Year! :peace::green_heart::Namaste:

Happy New Year to you and the family, candy :thumb:

That's a lotta pics!
The 4x4 girls look like they're doing well, the new growth looks good!
2x4 girls look a little hungry (pale), but pretty healthy otherwise...have you given them the shot of nitrogen yet? or maybe a little more MC?

They 2x2 girls are saying they are in need of some help. They are huge plants Candy. How often and how much are they being watered? They look like they could drink every couple of days, 1/2 gal to 3/4.
Maybe go back to just the MC for now until the N comes in on those ones.

Happy New Year while I'm here. Best wishes to you and yours for a great 2022!

:thanks:Still waiting on the straight nitrogen says it will be here on the 5th. I’ll be increasing the MC I reckon :nerd-with-glasses:

They go two days between feeds and drink 1 gallon.

:thanks: I reckon go to 4gr/g MC?

Was this like a flush? I missed this
Kinda like a lil rinse cuz I was worried about that 6mls/g of silica I gave her along with the calmag after I learned the K and calcium numbers were to high on the new MC to be able to mix those numbers in.
3 feeds in 8 days, so around every three days or less. OK, I worked out half of it, now it's understanding the amount.
Feed skip two days feed and it’s about 1 gallon each time.

Thanks Candy.. I'm with Carcass where it needs more food, and I don't think 4g is going to cut it.

My gut says you need to be up to 5g/gal since she's falling behind. The droopiness I'm not sure about. Your feeding is fantastic so it's not from lack of water. I'd like to suggest to give one feeding at the equivalent of 5g MC and see how she responds. When I say equivalent it means we try and use the MC N values that they suggest but cut back on the K and Ca. This is what I would suggest:

Thinning her out a bit may help the droopiness, but normally it's from temps, roots, or watering.

As soon as you get the N things should balance out. The high Ca is also an issue in their formulas.

:thanks: I’ve got that new dose making up now. I think since I overfed that one time quite awhile back I’ve unfortunately been too gun shy when upping their feeds which then leads me to keep trying to catch up sometimes because I psych myself out.:lot-o-toke: I truly thank y’all for everything!:green_heart::hugs:

Happy New Year, candy! I hope you have a wonderful 2022 filled with lots of bountiful harvests, love and happiness!

Let's just wait and see. You have some of the toughest issues, yet some of the most beautiful plants I've seen. Almost a Jekyll and Hyde thing going on in the two different tents.

Hey Candy lookin good over here! I think Mr S has you on the right track as far as what those girls need food wise.

I’ll throw my 2 cents in with your 2x2 girls. Looks to me like an issue I’ve had in the past which I thought was a potassium deficiency. First thing I would do if you haven’t already is dim down your light in the 2x2 until you can get there feed sorted out when you get that extra N food your waiting for. With my plants when the light was too intense I could not get in front of it with the proper feeding until I used a par reading app on my phone to get my light intensity more dialed in. Once I did that things went much smoother.

:thanks: Yeah it’s been a crazy run thus far and thank you for all your help!

While I’m here I do have an Update!
The Nitrogen came in early!

The 4x4 girls seem to be loving life and we’re super perky this morning but I had to run off to an appointment so I didn’t get to get those pics but I got some mid-day at least!
The 4x4 girls are now drinking at least a gallon every other day! They are on day 7 of 12/12 .

I tried not to go to crazy this time with photos! :nerd-with-glasses:
The 2x4 I don’t think is any worse..a lil more perky maybe. They got an early feeding yesterday because of my out of town appointment today so they have had 2 feeds of
4gr/g MC, 4.75gr/g Silica, 1.5gr/g Calmag, 1/2tsp/g Recharge
So today is only the 4th day since the first dose of that concoction.

Thank you all for stopping by, for your company, and for all your help! I really do love this community! :peace::love::Namaste:

lol, that's a perfect way of describing it. Let me get you some stuff together now as well. Does the N smell like ammonia? I'm trying to determine if it's nitrate or ammoniacal.

I think the CK looks much happier, or perkier. No progression is good, and stopping any new problems is even better. The damage there is, well there, and it's going to haunt you until you pluck 'em. I would leave them if they are not bothering you.

I’ll see if I can find that app and in the meantime dim the light down a bit! Nice to see you popping in!
No problem, dimming the light down a bit should help those girls recover a bit quicker. Here s a link to a video which helped me figure out which phone app is the most accurate, the guy in the video really knows his stuff! I use the I Phone app he recommended and it’s been very helpful.

Good to be back, I don’t have anything growing at the moment but should in the next little while.

OK Candy, try this out for the 2x2 which is the equivalent of 5g/gal of MC.
The first table shows you the targets we are trying to achieve and the actual results we got from the nutrients we are using.
The second table is the amount you need to use to get that. Again, it's all in grams per gallon.

Now, you can use this on the 4x4 girls as well since they are in flower. I don't recall if everyone was being fed that last concoction.

The order of mixing is important too.
1. Cyco Silica
2. Calmag
3. Nitrogen
4. MC
