You can rehydrate it like that or apple or bread but once you dry it the cure is done you can't restart it the bacteria have died.
Makes sense that's why you get the apple or orange or bread smell on the buds after lol or whatever wet thing you used to rehydrate your buds with. Wonder if there will ever be a way to restart the bacteria for the cure?

I've done orange peel but then it smells. My aunt told me the sweet potato won't leave a smell in it, guess i'll try and see.

I'm more trying to take the harshness when you smoke out of it. It's real dry and i think it burns to hot and thats why it's harsh, hoping it will burn better maybe not so harsh.

Has anyone heard of putting a sweet potato slice in over dried weed to bring little moisture back ?
I over dried my broken branches weed because i forgot about it(didn't care). But it turned out to be some pretty good stuff to smoke. Just a little to dry and want to take harshness out because it good stone but puff, cough, cough, cough, puff, cough, cough , cough :cough:

You can also take a piece of paper towel, wet it a bit so its just damp, put over top of your jar, then put the lid on. The weed inside will absorb the moisture. Just keep an eye on it, you dont want it to absorb too much.
You dont want the paper towel wet to the point that its dripping either. Just damp

Hey was just thinking for those people that use boveda packs to dry/cure buds if they couldn't get a hold of boveda packs wonder if a piece of ladies pads (Maxi) would work to control mositer in the jar ...lol... It helps the ladies down there to control moister away from thier parts why not same for bud moister? Any thoughts? ;)

Not a good idea @Herby Paisley, they have some sort of gel in them that absorbs moisture, but doesn’t release any moisture, it would likely just dry your bud out. We were told not to use them for pressure bandages when I took a 1st Responders course 20 years ago, just for that reason. They will keep absorbing blood and not allow clotting to occur.

Aww ...yes forgot about the gel part inside, Good to know thanks Celt... Bad for blood and buds good for spills lol ;)

Serious lack of updates on my part, better late than never I guess ...My two big outdoor plants both got mold when they were very nearly finished and ended up getting tossed in the compost pile. Had a week or so of very wet windy cold weather and decided to put them in a shed with no air circulation, bad idea..
My two tent dwellers are looking good though , this is day 30 since the flip.. Cheese is on the right and the close up. The other is Gorilla Zkittles. Starting to get sticky and stinky :peace:

Yeah me aswell, slow going waiting on my other 5 to finish up that I have to keep stashing in there - I dont have proper lights to be growing with. Just 3 regular household led bulbs, do what you gotta do. So theyre not getting enough light, slowing down the process.
I am looking at lights for inside, but even if I were to order it today, and receive tomorrow, I dont think id be comfortable with putting it outside in my shed.

I have a 1000w Led in my shed right now growing my ubc chemo strain and its fine and temps got a lil cool for awhile here is a pic of a cold day. I also grew until November 6th last year in the shed with a 1500 watt led with no ill effects to the light.... So giver invest in a Led for your shed you put so much effort in your grow this far always good to have for the future grows too. ;)

Yeah, fair enough. There is some truth to your statements!
I just wouldnt want to risk anything happening to it is all. It was a cheap shed thrown together by my landlords buddy, probably for beer. I couldnt be bothered putting it together - was missing lots of the hardware. I dont have alot of trust with it. Water runs underneath (no floor) if decent amount of rain. Gets pretty damp in there, I keep a fan going at all times when the plants are in there.
I dont know, if once I had my lights for inside, and I could afford a spare one, id probably forsure do it. Until then, no dice

Well in the future consider it, cause as long as your power cords are up off the floor away from the water you should be ok. When it was in November there was snow on the ground outside the shed and the light was fine no condensation on it at all just kept the air moving with fans. I would be worried about water coming from above more hows the roof on your shed?
