Double Chocolate

Day 41 Double Chocolate bud 3 Oct.jpg

Cheers

I wouldn't mix the woodchips in to the mix. Use them as a mulch maybe but they'll steal too much nitrogen from the rest of the mix in the first season or two if you mix them in.

i agree, i should have said as top cover about 2 inches thick. i make sure root ball is below the area mulch touches soil. the best mulch you can get is already around you. big plus, the crickets seem to love it.
- i have mate who grows clones outdoors and puts cardboard down then wood chips/mulch on top and swears by it. his plants are always monsters.

Cornell bulletin, a 15-year study using wood chips was conducted on a farm in NY. - wood chips were applied as a mulch, in others, the wood chips were plowed under. over time nitrogen increased in all areas wood chips used as mulch.

Hey OJ. Being the only person I've met here that grew Cafe Racer was wondering if it's only mine....
I am also growing two in veg and 2 in flower and when I get home from work, I don't smell them. Even my outside girls don't smell. ( Kind of a good thing considerring the size of them).

Is that normal? Although, when I trimmed them, my fingers or latex glove smelled pleasantly like old-school hash. I have about a pound to harvest. Any advice?

Cheers!

maybe you smoke to much and cant smell.. but its ok.. i feed my plants floralicious plus.. to enhance the aromas..

has molasses which has sulfurs i think.. to enhance.. indoors in winter if i turn off the blower carbon filter and
walk into house u would swear there is a gas leak and run.. did it myself lol...

Maybe so, bro! Maybe so!
I heard tell that molasses is good for flowering.
Where do you get that floraliciuos stuff, eh? That's "hein" in Quebecois, eh!
Cheers!

 I got booted out of the house because of the smell, now my nearest neighbor knows when my bud is ripening . Hemp field is unbelievable for smells, sure is a wonderland of stink. The racers I've grown never where much for smell but really potent. Critical Orange Puch really surprised. I'm not much for waxing poetic but the early rosin kind of leaves a citrusey thing for taste!

well it pays to read the label.. no molasse or sulfur.. in it .. but say s enhances aromas..

what will happen to my plants outside at -1 c ? anyone help me ?
Dont quote me here but i certainly found in my limited outdoor growing experience that the plant does not die but after a frost the plants growth stops immediately

what happens to the buds more importantly .. i dont know never grew in the cold ...

not ready for harvest.. only a few cloudy buds..

Most of mine have been done before the first hard frost, but a couple of light ones didn't do any harm.
You're pretty close to me, so I guess we'll both find out 😐
