My pretty convinced that PM is going to be consistent problem in outdoor grows in cities year to year. Too many dumbasses growing zucchini or global warming who the he'll knows. I'm definitely upping my spray game outdoors in town next year. I'm going to do the trusted worm casting tea with maybe some kelp and what ever.

Lots of experience growers on this Canadian page, any good casting tea recipes or links that you think prevent PM before it happens or any other goodies you like?? I know most topics covered forum but I can't search and roll joint at same time sorry

outdoor you can't avoid it. indoor you can manipulate ventilation and other factors. go check out @InTheShed 's spray recipes for dealing with it outdoor. he deals with it on near every grow successfully.

Some of us are trying this out.
And there's a thread with started by @Azimuth about it.

Looking mighty swell Bill, pun intended!

Cheers!
I imagine that one would have to be well over 50 years old to appreciate the word "swell". I got it off of the "Little Rascals" in black and white TV when I was a kid.

Hi... Folks for the time that I have been a member of 420 forums, I have seen a lot of fellow Canadian growers asking Canadian specific questions on sourcing seeds, growing nutrients, lighting , grow medium etc. I have not yet seen an area where Canadian growers can go and source information without having to jam up all the other area's of the forum searching for other Canadian growers to source information from. So I thought since there is so many of us on here, I would start a thread to support our Canadian Growers, a place to discuss growing in Canada, From sourcing products to battling our crazy weather across the nation. Don't get me wrong I love our amazing support from around the world that is in these forums. I Just though it would make folks lives a little easier when growing in Canada to have one area on here to go to and ask those crazy canuk questions we always ask on here eh! lol....All are welcome to share their knowledge on growing on this thread Canadian or not cause in the end we are all Cannabis people! :)

Love it

Much love from ontario

Anyone got any good substitute for foxfarm ocean forest. Next year i plan on using 4 50 gallon pots next year. In ontario at the moment a bag of fox farm ocean forest is roughly 26 bucks plus tax at my local hydro shop.

I plan on doing organic next year and am wondering if i could be adding in some triple mix to save a little money rather than filling the whole 50 gallon pots with ocean forest. Maybe a 2:1 ratio between ocean forest and a triple mix blend

If anyone has any cheaper Canadian brands that have similar growing mediums that would be great.

Hope everyone is having a good end to the outdoor grow season

I use promix organic potting soil. The batch of vegetable & herb mix wasn't as good as usual this year. I'm going to use the moisture control mix next year. My buddy had had good results with it for the last few years.
I'm in Ontario as well, and it's about $13 for a 25 litre bag, $30 for a 112 litre bale at a big box store.
