Canadian Growers Group & Friends

They‘re looking good mate, another 2 or 3 weeks to go :)
ok awesome! Get so stressed about ruining the potency and flavour. All in all I'm pretty happy with them. This started out as a make shift setup and I have been adding better gear as I go. Next grow should be alot smoother.
I got some fem mamba negra seeds from blimburn.
Thanks for help, appreciate it

Generally speaking Purple Kush takes around 8-10 weeks of flower.

Ha. Generally speaking, near everything takes 8 to 10 weeks.. Maybe 11

But some..15. 16. Love those ones. Oh ya

Hey I'm new to the group here. From New Brunswick. How do I post a question just in this group? Maybe it's obvious lol should looked before my coffee(fat joint). I had a question about trichs.

Hi Foster420 welcome to group!.... I see you have figured things out on here, glad to have you aboard enjoy the knowledge of this thread we have some amazingly skilled growers on here. As for your purple Kush you still have a lot of clear trichomes and some milky, If you want a cerebral high i'd wait another 2 to 3 weeks and if you want a more sedating body buzz wait a month, for more amber trichomes to develop. :)

I didn't think they where ready but, it's nice to have some other opinions.
Back in the day when I use to grow(like almost 20yrs ago) I just always went by the hairs. When they where roughly 70% I chopped them. So you can see why I'm panicking a bit when I'm only 5 weeks into flower

Please offer us your insight :adore:.

And yes, I could offer a comment like yours, but I wanted to be helpful. So with my experiences with Purple Kush I figured I could add something useful. Not an ambiguous comment.
They were not asking about everything.

Good luck @Foster420
@Herby Paisley hit on the head.

everything is same as back in the day mate but now you have fancy bluetooth microscope for phone added to the mix,
1. bulk of hairs are curled in -check
2. 70-80 of hairs turned colour - almost
3. pull out the kick ass digital bluetooth microscope and smoke a joint because 20 pics later you got one that ain't blurry - not cloudy enough.
I bet you a blackberry hammer clone (thanks paisley) your cutting sept. 12 , book it :rofl::ganjamon:or when it's ready:laugh:

Well I'll be sure and let everyone know. And are we trading clones on here? Cause I'm definitely down for that.
I usuall do 130+ clones for may 24 and trade them with people. heres this years , i was dumbass and did 17 strains, one was sour diesel so only did 5 clones of because it doesn't finish to november so fingers crossed no frost till 2nd week of nov.

after november all get a mom room going and do 6 strains and some autoflowers in the room.

Bubba Kush clone, Canuk Seed, in ground june 4th. Easy to clone and very easy to grow, bugs are a little interested and very easy to water, you can forget a day with no problem.

I'm 180cm on driver lic. so maybe bubba kush is 7feet , i'm in contest so that is why cup is in hand.

G"Day Canadian Cannabis growers,

I'm curious as to what everyone in Canada uses as insecticides and fungicides for out door crops. Or indoor, didn't mean to leave you all out, just figured the out door growers deal with it more.

And of course organic/natural types of remedies/solutions. Lets keep it a chemical free zone, unless there is no other solution.

Or what home made concoctions you use for preventive or all out outbreaks.

I ask because alot of the products talked about on here (420 mag), or recommended by others are hard to find in Canada, from my experience.

i have used up until now that they are in flower
-Neem oil
-Castile soap (Bronners)
-Rosemary oil
mixed in sprayer with water
This was for general use as all around preventative bug spay, possibly killer.

Also used BTk for the odd caterpillar and other leaf chewers i seen over the summer, maybe four times.

Now that we are into the cooler part of the summer (its 30 plus humidity here today:rofl:) and Powdery mildew/mold will be the next fight...

Anybody use Safers brand products?

Stay safe out there...:surf:
:rollit:

Awesome grow you got going @Mustang92
thanks mate, these are all canuk seeds. we have been talking about on bean buyer page, they have 20% code for us at TNSB. Seems that they are bad at descriptions and sometimes the description don't match the planst. The plants are different so they just dumb. Don't like there pricing either but 20% makes it better and people don't trust their gentics, i'v never had a problem with their beans. They are also out of white widow as a freebie, i got green crack and gorilla girl sweet seed as freebie. I wanted bruce banner and they have a version so i was happy to get because i haven't found it for reasonable price and in stock.

I'm also growing obinwan kush and the true OG from canuk , both plants are very impressive.
