Canada Guy's Perpetual Garden

You know, CG, I don't think you're much of an autos fan, but I've sitting here reading in Jorge Cervantes' Encyclopedia how C. ruderalis evolved to enable cannabis to grow in northern regions with short growing season, and you're situation sprung to mind. (But then the canna caps kicked in and first I was too high to read and then I was too high to play guitar so I guess it must be time for TV. ;))

Lol. I'm actually thinking about just staying indoors with my grow and not taking it out to the garden at all... I like the idea of harvesting potentially a different strain every month. Any thoughts on the subject? I can't legally grow indoors and outdoors at the same time.

I was thinking the tangerine dream for pain relief... Umm what u guys know about good strains for pain? Or should I be trying more oils and other extracts? My LSD had a very strong citrus smell growing, but when smoked I don't taste any citrus at all.
ATF is supposed to be superb. I just dropped 3 beans to cross with strawberry kush, also good for pain. White widow also. Anything naturally high in cbd and cbn. Cbn helps if your pain keeps you from sleeping.

I take ibuprofen for pain relief. Cannabis does nothing for me in that department.
Then your not doing it right. Have you tried topicals? I my honest opinion it depends on the type of pain. There are things I love IBU for and others it doesn't touch with a 10 foot pole.

Me thinks (that's for you sci), that you need to start a few autos indoors as your last flower wraps up, then throw them outside as soon as the climate permits and your previous grow is complete? I am in Alaska and an auto is my only 100% assured way to work in an outdoor season.

My only outdoor spaces are a small deck and a plot at my community organic garden, neither of which are exactly ideal grow spaces, so I have been growing my big outdoor plant by proxy in your back yard. For that I would suggest a 20' sativa! ;)

People tell me that about a lot of things. ;)

Only rubbing homemade cannabis-infused coconut oil on my arthritic neck. All that did was make me smell tropical. I welcome suggestions!
Hmmm. I love the lotion for muscle pains and spasm. As far as your bone and or joint pain, I don't have experience with cannabis and either of the former. I'd stick with the IBU, but there may be a benefit to using cbd to lessen inflammation.

I mentioned earlier that I'm curious about what it would be like to have a short season but really long days. Even here just 47 degrees north, our summer days are long. Methinks a shade-free spot in summer in AB would be interesting, and in AK would be awesome. ;)

Hmmm. Sounds like something else to try next time I visit the dispensary...

So CG, you have so much stuff going now, when you minute could you list what's going and what stage it's at?
Hey, so right now in veg I have 2 LSD, and 1 bagseed from the 90's called Big Stink. In flower I have 2 LSD, and 1 AG. I'm not doing autoflowers outside, it's gonna be trees or nothing lol. Inside I can just shorten the veg time so photoperiod will be just fine.

This was my logic exactly CG. Indoors won't yield the same but will keep me in constant supply with a variety.

That said... I wonder how everything will play out with legalization. Maybe our wives can grow our outdoor plants without subverting our medical registration in any way?

Wow, thats an excellent point Dobe, I hadn't considered that. Theres no reason that a medical ACMPR grow should interfere with another legal aged householder from growing 4 recreational plants for themselves. Bet we'll see that one in the court sooner or later.
