Canada Guy's Perpetual Garden

Happy new years to everyone here! Sending love and positive energy to all you guys for the new year. May your crops and children grow and be healthy. I will post a proper update later today or tomorrow. The unnamed freezer seed that we have been calling BS, will now be called Big Stink. This is because of the intense skunky smell of her massive sticky flowers and she should end up about 10 feet tall outside.

Hey guys, here is the long awaited big update. Both LSD girls is the flower tent are doing great, a couple or 3 days ago they got plain water and today they got 4 liters of nutrified water. AG is still growing and she also got a squirt of the flower water. The succulents are doing great, the pepper plant is happy as well. The catnip has been topped a few times from my cats, it will get a bigger final pot soon. The wandering jew has been up potted, and a few clippings from the mama jew made a brand new little jew. This will be a gift to my brother in law.

In the veg box both LSD girls have been taking very well to the training. LSD 2 had a secondary shoot and it is now growing into another main branch. I was going to just LST both of them and grow them in circles around the pot. I may also defoliate them to slow growth a little. Spring is really far away still, these girls will be massive trees outside if all goes as planned. Everyone just gets plain water as needed. Big Stink is also doing really well. Should I train her? She was supposed to go outside too come spring.

Once the girls are done in the flower tent, I will put the MH in and make a veg tent till spring.

Alright here are the pics everyone is waiting for.

Thanks for following along.

They are all looking awesome CG. They'll be monsters before you get them out in the spring.

Hope you're warming up too. We finally got a break yesterday from the cold.

Nice shots, those babies look super healthy.

How long will you veg and around what date will AG go outdoors for the season? I'm thinking I have to try a grow outside this summer but need to figure out timing.

Thanks DW.

I will veg the girls for probably a few months... I wasn't really planning just flying by the seat of my pants. AG will not be outside this year. She is going 12/12 from seed. Outside will be the trio in the veg box. LSD 1, LSD 2, and Big Stink. Unless something changes.. like my prescription lol. I finally got a container for my concentrates.

If you grow outdoors, drop a seed in the fall or after the last frost.. so like May long weekend lol. My best luck was with seeds that were on the ground the previous fall. Most people recommend autoflower because they want a crop now. With regular seeds that are not native to your climate it will take them a few generations to figure it out, get acclimatized, and finally actually produce a decent crop. Give it 2 or 3 years lol. This is my personal experience. Obviously seeds that are native to where you live will sprout and grow and produce just fine in the short season.

Yeah I have been considering buying some White Grizzly from Kootenay Seeds, those bad boys can grow well in Canada, big trees

Yep train her! Tie her down...when she's ready lol
So in the garden this year you think I should have bushes rather than trees? I've never actually trained an outdoor plant. Without any training Big Stink should grow to almost 10 feet tall, produce 2-4 lbs, and finish in time before the snow flies. I don't know about LSD, I think it will be a complete write off.

On a side note, it looks like our AG is female!

The two LSD girls were cut off of their mothers on Nov 30. The BS sprouted Dec 26. You should go outdoors too, a seed in the dirt outside equals free bud at the end of the season. Thank you for stopping by Joe! Really happy to have you here.
