Canada Guy's Perpetual Garden

Hey CG, I've never grown outdoors before and am curious about the outdoor grows in our short season. Could you give us quick off the cuff timeline on an outdoor plant? When to plant, when to transplant outdoors, when they start flower, whens harvest, etc.

I would be interested in hearing about that as well, especially up north there where spring comes later, fall comes earlier, but the days in between last longer...

The two LSD girls were cut off of their mothers on Nov 30. The BS sprouted Dec 26. You should go outdoors too, a seed in the dirt outside equals free bud at the end of the season. Thank you for stopping by Joe! Really happy to have you here.

Hey

I'm
Just trying to learn to better myself man nothing more. And if I can help others I'm
Here least I can for such a amazing 420 community .

Everyday we're alive should be a blessing we might take it for granted more then not all of us you and me but that just makes us humans .

We need to Have an attitude to help one another not to knock one and another down
So we can all get smarter and mend this world a better place ..

Cannabis growing my own meds is not just a love passion hobby but an art to each plant and the more we learn from one another the better we can all grow five star meds.

Then when we can find a better way besides combustible To consume it we save all the nasty stuff going into our lungs .

I will be picking up my vaporizer more these days .

Anyways ramble

My bad Canada guy

Buddy I'm honoured to be here ....

So in the garden this year you think I should have bushes rather than trees? I've never actually trained an outdoor plant. Without any training Big Stink should grow to almost 10 feet tall, produce 2-4 lbs, and finish in time before the snow flies. I don't know about LSD, I think it will be a complete write off.

On a side note, it looks like our AG is female!

Congrats on the girl! That's an interesting thought to train outdoors...hmmmm ...

I've heard lst then super crop them. You'd be surprise it's possible

I think sphynx grew bushes Even though they had the height of . ..

Hey SD! Alright so first of all get good genetics, I have lots of acclimatized seeds that are ready to go. They are just regular photoperiod seeds. Otherwise maybe an autoflower? As far as the timeline goes, this is my experience. Seeds can be literally dropped on top of the ground in the fall and they will sprout in the spring as nature intended. I grow in very rich garden soil that gets turned often and is full of bugs and slugs and nutrents. This is my preferred method. You can also just plant a seed in the dirt about an inch down around late April. I don't have a lot of luck transplanting to the garden from indoors so I try to stay away from it. I find it's too much of a shock going from paradise to the great outdoors, and it hurts yields. Early May the seed should be sprouted and starting to grow. Be careful to remove weeds from around her without damaging the little seedling. I actually dig a small trench about a foot or so round and 3 inches deep around her and water that to encourage the roots to spread out and find the water. To deter slugs i use eggshells broken into small pieces and I scatter it around the base of the plant. Between May and July you will see a ton of growth, just keep watering with plain water when there is no rain for a few days and it's really hot. Keep weeding as well on a regular basis, you don't want any nutrients going to the weeds. This is also the time to train if you are going to do it. The end of July you will find pistils all over and by late August buds should be well formed. September and October the buds will fatten to the size of a small child and around Halloween into the first week of November will be the time to harvest. A quick dry and a short cure later and it's time for Christmas Cannabaking. This is all completely dependent on mother nature cooperating as the plants are just left out in the 'wild' to grow. Some years are awesome, others suck. A greenhouse will help with bad weather or an early winter, but you still need good seeds to start with. Hope this helps. If anyone has a different experience please feel free to share it with us. Happy growing!

Also you guys should check your private messages more often ..

Little update. Yesterday the flowering girls got some Nutes. Everyone is doing well. My local hydro shop has some excellent seeds, I may pick up a chocolope or tangerine dream or maybe a northern lights.. too many to choose from lol.

Saw your question over on my journal and posted up a little bit about Chocolope. There are probably a few additional comments and of course tons of pics in my 2nd journal too. Bottom line, I’m a big fan, but it’s a certain type of sativa (focused and relaxed) that some people don’t go for in their sativa.

Well our little buds are now the size of a Bic lighter. Sure hope I can get some soda bottle size buds again!

They should continue to fatten and plump out for ya CG!

Does it actually taste like chocolate?

All I could taste was lavender with a cheesey finnish.... I told arctic bowl I was sure he gave me lavender plant. Haha

It's one of the most unique tasting nugs I have ever smoked. That's why it's so epic I think. It oozes these amazing complex smells

Lol I don't really love lavender.... any experience with tangerine dream?

Ahh yeah it kinda threw me for a loop. The cheesey undertone is really nice though!!

No, an orange strain is still on my to do list. I have smoked agent Orange which was stellar. Like drinking orange soda! But I have heard lots of good reviews on the tangerine dream! If it is anything like tangie it will be amazing. Tangie is one of the highest terp producers of any strain!!

It definitely doesn’t taste like chocolate, not my pheno anyway. I don’t know the lavender smell but it’s a very flowery smell and taste. Doesn’t taste like anything else of mine.

I grew out 2 phenos of 24K Gold which is Kosher Kush x Tangie too, one of which was Tangie leaning. Very strong orange smell and taste, almost sickly. Very strong buzz too and lots of resin production. I’d grow Tangie without hesitation but Chocolope is very good too.

I’ll be growing both again but probably not in the short term as I have plenty left.

I was thinking the tangerine dream for pain relief... Umm what u guys know about good strains for pain? Or should I be trying more oils and other extracts? My LSD had a very strong citrus smell growing, but when smoked I don't taste any citrus at all.

Best I could find by the looks of it more dominate indica offer more pain relief ?
