Cajuncelt's Spring 2015 Grow - Blue Dream - Bubba Kush - Critical Cure - Etc

Motoco is on a sabbatical of sorts right now. He & the Mrs. are hitting the road & off the grid for awhile & just travel.
He will probably respond soon though.
I've checked with most of the medical routes I know & quite a few other professional mmj caregivers. Nothing new yet. Most agree to treat with mmj like we would for Parkinson's.
I can get you going on that route if we don't get any new news if that helps your friend SG.
Let me know & keep us in the loop.

Reg has me conscious of the LED pink light, so I switched em off. Lol.
Month 1 down, autos are in flower now. I'm switching to Bloom nutes, but keeping the lights at 18/6.
Still cruising....

I'm germinating some Blue Thai, more Kosher Kush & a mystery frijole from Vietnam. That's what's in the covered cups.
I'm going to start taking cuttings for clones in another week or so. I'm excited to get the bubble cloner I put together last year back out.
Raining tomorrow & down to mid 30's still, but no freeze yet.
It's in the 80's where I moved from.

Have you ever wintered over anywhere before Cajun? This is going to be a big shock to your system. Good quality long underwear and possibly look into flannel-lined jeans? The warmest winter I ever got through included a pair and I've always wondered why I didn't buy more. Now that I've lost weight I should get some. Hmmmm. Sorry :laughtwo: Got lost there.

Where did you get a mystery frijole from Vietnam, if I may be so bold? This isn't something one typically comes across, is it?

Well then allow yourself to go all the way to hopeful. Life is a celebration. Dare to be active in that joyful dance. It WILL make a difference in how this plays out.

Thank you Sue. You make me smile. :peace:

I'm glad. This stuff kinda falls out of me sometimes like it has a mind of its own. I made a promise to myself that I'd try not to censor it because it appears to do a lot of good, but I'll be honest, sometimes I post stuff and go away wondering if you all think I'm a nutcase. Then I have to take a deep breath before I dare come back to see the reaction.

I was always the weird kid on the block. I made up for it with passion. And hugs. They've always been my thing.

I want you to stay grateful. Grateful that you and she have this rare opportunity to learn so much more about the body's natural tendency to heal than you ever imagined. Couple that with the healing potential of cannabis and I believe you have every reason to be filled with hope. Fill the journey together with love. None of us lives forever. That's the only guarantee, so love every minute of it. Even the tears. I'm writing this through tears and celebrating my ability to feel so deeply that this could move me like that.

It's a wonderful life. It's going to be ok, no matter how it plays out. The virtual hugs are so insubstantial, so use the imagination. Warm, soft, loving, feels like you don't want to leave just yet. Got it? Ok. Go.

:hugs:

I lived in southern Germany (Bavaria), not far from the Alps & there were blizzards. But it was a controlled environment. Not up in the mountains kinda secluded & by myself.
My neighbor lost 2 dogs to bears last winter. He buried then, but the bears dig the bodies up.

The Vietnam strain came from another Cultivator here. She's real into landraces & breeding.

Thanks guys (and gals :) ). Moto sent me an email. I am waiting to here back again. Thanks D or Canna or whoever got a message out to him.

So Cajun. Just to have a place to start, what is the best way to treat Parkinson's? Mind you, her worst symptom at the moment seems to be the rigidity. I am feeling less hopeless by the moment. :) :peace:

I belong to PACT. They're the ones that sent me here for Cannabis Cup for the med seminar. This is a published study from them. I'm posting so you can know the how's & why's.

The activation of CB(2) receptors leads to a slower progression of neurodegeneration in Parkinson's & similar disorders. This effect would be exerted by limiting the toxicity of microglial cells for neurons and, in particular, by reducing the generation of proinflammatory factors. It is important to mention that CB(2) receptors have been identified in the healthy brain, mainly in glial elements and, to a lesser extent, in certain subpopulations of neurons, and that they are dramatically up-regulated in response to damaging stimuli, which supports the idea that the cannabinoid system behaves as an endogenous neuroprotective system. This CB(2) receptor up-regulation has been found in many neurodegenerative disorders including HD and PD, which supports the beneficial effects found for CB(2) receptor agonists in both disorders. In conclusion, the evidence reported so far supports that those cannabinoids having antioxidant properties and/or capability to activate CB(2) receptors may represent promising therapeutic agents in HD and PD.

So, the illness is in the brain which usually calls for high THC, but not so with Huntington's, not Parkinson's.
Your friend needs high CBD & lots of it.
I would suggest the CannaBudwig protocol for bioavailability and tacking CBD oil for immediate CB2 receptor activation.
Parkinson's & similar have a decent success rate in slowing the progression of the disease.

I'm glad I stopped here first. I was going to text Motoco just in case he hadn't logged in to Skype. Sounds like Dennise got through to him as well. YEY!
Hopefully he will be helpful in shedding some light, as well as our goodly dude Cajun Man. :)

Hugs and more hugs.:hugs::hugs::hugs: (I find cyber hugs better than real people hugs in some cases) Stay positive, if you are positive that will bring hope to the loved one as well.

Thanks mate, that means to me so much! :circle-of-love:

A plant canopy is your classic Xmas tree. Natural plant structure for height, life, growth... but not producing as much fruit as possible.
Now turn the triangle the xmas tree forms on its head, 180°.
The pointy end is on the bottom, but now the top (the canopy) is wide & even. Structure to produce the most fruit, not vertical height.
Look at LA's plants. The epitome of a fruit canopy (thanx spell check).

My brother-in-green, when I saw that 1st plant of yours, I knew you had something special & I was right.
Others, hell everyone saw what I saw.
You single handedly changed 420. You did.
It's been my extreme pleasure to watch you become Prof. Flux.

Jaga! You feeling better over there?

Hey Jason. Recognize the pink light on the right? The Spider with the correct lenses are perfect for seedlings, clones, juveniles. You Twilighters don't mention that. You should. It's gotten me out of a bind now that I'm poor. Lol. True though.

So, I like these autos I'm growing. These strains are the most vigorous autos I've grown. They're preflowering already which I wish was delayed another couple of weeks. But, they've got good height & the laterals are growing out. If they stretch with control, I'll definitely be back on board with autos.

The organic mixes I'm growing in are surprising. I thought things change from the grows at work to my house. Well, the mixes don't. It's weird not feeding them. They're about 2 weeks slower than hydro & salt grows, but worth it.

Bonjour mon ami. Still smiling? Yeah, * giggle * me too. :battingeyelashes:

I'm getting ready to redo the lighting in my tent so my girls stand some decent chance at a harvest, and that means I'd miss you at my place. I wasn't happy about that possibility so I brought coffee with fresh roasted chicory to you. Let me set your cup over by the stove. It won't get bumped there. I didn't know if you take anything in yours - we didn't share coffee yesterday - so it's black.

You have a marvelous day coaxing more out of your plants now, hear? Are they keeping you excited at work?

Here, a hug to hold you through the day. :hugs: :kisstwo:

Go get 'em Tiger. :battingeyelashes:

The Domina is changing colors. Black & purple. She's gonna be pretty.

Check out the big ol floppy elephant Indica fans on the little Bubba Kush seedling....
My favorite phenotype from Bubba.

Sweet. Is the color change strain-specific or is it the chill of approaching winter?

Bonjour mon ami. :hugs:

I sent you a PM on Thursday with my email. I'd appreciate those ebooks on oil at your convienence, thanks. No rush - I won't have much time for a bit longer, but I'd like to begin studying.

You stopping for coffee later? Good, I'll watch.

Thank you for that smile super. :circle-of-love: I've kind of made it my goal in life to make him smile more. I'm not giving him much say in the matter, and he's being really good about it. :laughtwo:
