Cajuncelt's Spring 2015 Grow - Blue Dream - Bubba Kush - Critical Cure - Etc

I find it interesting to consider the dichotomy that's bound to arise in you , at least for a while Cajun, until you've been at this a bit longer. At work there needs to be a certain dispassionate attitude that leads you to view the plant in production terms, but your home grow'd still engender the affection you feel for plants meant to heal you specifically.

I don't think I could be dispassionate about any living thing, but I can see how I'd have to develop a work mindset and a home mindset.
I also keep meaning to ask you what the energy of all these plants in one area feels like? I find they give off an energy field I don't pick up with other house plants and it occurs to me that a well-run commercial grow might be kinda electrical just to stand next to. :laughtwo:

Me being me lol, Ive totally ignored the types of oils suggested and gone for my own lot :)
To me were just talking immune systems, just like our bodies the plant tells when a invading toxin is present and simply reacts to this invader by protecting itself.
So without any data etc id guess that most if not all essential oils would work. Maybe some a touch better than others but id guess mostly a likeness.

Then if we follow this train of thought then the switch hitting makes sense. Any toxin within us normally will have a tolerance built against it over time. Plants (especially these :) ) have been round longer than us.... so why not credit them with an imune system just as efficient? ?????

All were doing in the end is purposely throwing our plants chemical balance out of whack! So in a way id go for oils at opposite ends of the spectrum as it were for max effect. Hence my pink grapefruit and spearmint oils :)

Just the way my noggin works, I could be wrong lol. :)

I think thats sounding correct to me to be honest the amount of time to us being here an the plant world being around :thumb:
Some folks say that the plant world does most what we do they simply feel in a different way and so yep makes sense brother I like the thinking behind that :thumb:

All looking great just passing through trying to get through some of my subs
Like L.A. said to have a guy say that to me an you said they looked healthy :volcano-smiley:well it would certainly get my back up as well:volcano-smiley:Have a great day top of the buds to you cajun :circle-of-love::Love::420::Love::circle-of-love:

See, we're all so emotionally attached. This just makes me laugh, because as sappy as I get, I can see myself in that position walking through a grow and ruthlessly culling left and right. Once you feel the plants at that level and can see them as much as commodity you don't want to subject the staff to wasted time and you're creating a space brimming with plants that hum with health instead of blocks of plants that sometimes limp along.

When you first mentioned this it rankled me. The more I consider it, the more I want to get to be that intuitive about the plants. In the same position I believe that would become one of my favorite jobs and as a cultivator under his watch I'd get really excited every time he wandered into my space. One more chance to watch the process up close and personal. I don't think it would take me very long at all to get used to it, unless he was always tossing too many of mine. :laughtwo:

There's always the home garden to pamper and love.

Well, home finally, whew.
I got hit on by a female cop today! Didn't come to a complete stop, pulled me over & started complimenting me. Asked me out!
I bout passed out. Talk about freaked out. I kept thinking I was going to jail for something any minute. I've never wanted to transport somewhere else so bad in my life. Lol.
Crazy day.

Well, the photo grow is about a month & 2 weeks in. I'm transplanting into 5 gal fabric pots in 2 weeks & flipping in 4 weeks.

Glad you survived it Cajun. Not at all surprised. :laughtwo:

Now you have me curious. You could PM you know. :battingeyelashes:

:bigblush: Aww shucks. ..your really sweet to say such kind words. I can assure everyone though, it aint out of wisdom more ignorance that I am the way I am.
Ive never researched much apart from when I first started out. Ive never researched anything off this site and thats a fact lol. Yet its all been about the journey for me. I like to bumble along and work everything out for myself. Ive never seen any failure as such just another lesson learned.
Everything has kind of made sense with me and this beloved plant of ours, then as said I love pushing stuff for the hell of it. :)
But mainly Im just ignorant as said :) take when I met REMO off YouTube at Spannabis. We just asked what he was eating on our first night. He was sat on next table with one of his group and my missus just leaned over and goes ooh that looks nice can I ask what it is. We had zero idea who he was lol. Then the next day we were walking around and noticed people like the owner of BFarm go running up to the chap to get a selfie with him?!?!? (Pestered everywhere)
Now I can call him a friend and its probs down to the fact we treated him like a nobody in the first place :) :)

Anyway lol Im over medicated on some of the Truth! and rambling on. :) sorry.

Oh and Cajun my friend, I wanted to inquire on wether re veg girls are ever used in professional growing?

I love you cuz you show your true colors. Whether they're black and blue or bold n beautiful! You don't sugar glaze anything but the plants. LOL
That line of thinking on the oils was thought provoking, a rambling certainly worth pondering.

:circle-of-love:

I seperated the Autos from the Photos. The Autos are in the flower tent now. The pics with the oils are there since they're the Autos. It's the journal under this one in sig.

Getting a lil size, so moved autos out.
The bigger girls will outgrow this space soon so I'll be moving them too.
All the germinating autos are up now too.

Cannot begin to tell you how delighted I am to see you growing your own again! Everything looks great.
Looking forward to the results with the oil plants.

so are you going out with her to make her happy
My exact thoughts Cronic. Did you at least exchange numbers Cajun?
By the way, I may have missed it but what medium are they growing in at the job? Specifics if possible.

No, I couldnt go out with a cop. I'm not "on the market" & politely let her know that.

:circle-of-love:

Thanx sis. It's been awhile coming huh? Lol.
I almost forgot how to grow.

Oh, I'd never date a cop.

I need stronger alcohol than what's convenient to buy to make the concentrated oil.
DIY project & all ingredients were in the bed of my truck.

The majority of the grows are in an organic soilless mix. A partial of the grows are hydroponic (flood n drain), but they're a very small percentage.

THAT'S what she wanted...some of that Moonshine!!

She didn't have a clue what she was looking at, but asked me if I had cows. All the corn I guess. Glad I wasnt back in the South.

I love a man who responds to the challenge with creativitity and fortitude.,

I know many cops. The one I think of as a son once told me all cops are pigs, even the female ones. He told me that with his big, charming smile and followed it up with a kiss on the cheek and a whispered "don't ever forget that" in my ear. I never have. Love every one of those guys and would trust them with my life. We tattooed many of them and they watch out for me. Never date one. :laughtwo:
