CA215 Indoor #3

Wow, you have been busy! Tons of lovely new growth you have there. It is going to be a jungle in no time! I love the spidey web too! I got a 60-100x mag, soooo fun!

Last time I brewed my tea, I gave the molasses in stages. First after I aerated the water for a big, then a little at a time as it went. It was the first time I got foam actually. It worked great for the outdoor gang, but was way too strong for my little ones inside :)

Keep up the solid work, and I am glad to hear you are weilding that very green thumb of yours with tender care!

Caption: "enticing Santa to come early?"

You win the caption contest lol, I think santa would get a lil too baked and not finish his route if he stopped here
I have also been doing that, seems I didn't mention it. It looked to help keep the bubbles brewing longer, as compared to if you feed molasses once I saw the bubbles dimished after 8-10 hours~. But that's the thing, I don't know if that is what we are really shotting for in the tea, I just see everyone having great results with the foam :) I really tend to go off of the smell though that's what I read is pretty important, you want that rich soily earthy smell. I have also been diluting my teas about 1/2 just to be on the safe side, and trying to let them areate and bubble for 24-48 hours :Namaste: Thanks for stoppin' in RS!

theyre gonna grow into those screen thing like a vine :thumb:

I am hoping so, it has felt like slow growth but looking at the pictures, it's just me sitting there drooling over them slowing time

I have been busy today! Spun some nug/trim, trimmed some betsy nugs up for another hash run in the upcoming week~
Some stuff for you all to enjoy!

looking amazing and what nug is that!? it looks great, but I wanted to enter serious 6 lol as well :p what strain?

I'm not sure of the strain unknown bagseed from a dispensary, this girl blessed me with a single seed to keep on her genetics also. Pretty stocked from this seasons outdoor haul :) I cant enter either as it was a fresh un cured nug, and everything got pieced to little nugs for the hash run.

Now that's a nice amount of hash CA. The girls are looking lovely and green and healthey:). Love the single scrog idea.

We are hoping to keep the hash accumulating. They are definitely doing a lot better after the topping and trim stress, plain water is serving them good, although that un pH'd tea mishap may have stunted them a bit but not much. We will get some more shots tonight when lights turn on :Namaste:

Simply awesome work my friend love the look of that hash and damn NOTM winning looking buds!

Thanks LA, I am really liking the smoke, definitely nice being able to dab some hash again.
I am planning on doing the full nug run as soon as I can't hold out any loner.. This hash making thing is good fun :)

I like the tomato cage scrog. You could do a second screen on a 2 ring cage.:goodjob:

Thanks Jimmy definitely got to give PeeJay a pat on the back for that one. I also really liked the idea. I did contemplated that also but decided against it due to the lights being quite low (300W still), & I am also planning on flipping to flower within the weeks, as soon as we get some nice tops filin in those screens of course! :blunt:

Awesome man, just awesome. That hash looks amazing too! Also, don't worry about the temperature, ~81F is best for her, so you aint got to worry if it's just a bit under that. :tokin:

I think they actually liked 79f better than 75f so I can agree with that.. Weird to say but the leaves looked a lot healthier at the time. Could be due to the root zone staying nice and warm giving them a great pace to thrive, hence great leaves.. I have since shut my window to keep it a little warmer. :thumb:

Reps on your setup my friend.

Randomly found this new journal of yours and I like what i see.

those tomato cages are rad. next time invite me over wouldn't want to miss.

Thanks shotta, will give ya a holler next time! Going to try and fill this one up with plenty of pictures that will make your eyes red.
& I will give you a pat on the back for the tea talk on your thread, definitely made me take the jump into trying my own mixes which seem to be pretty good so far (minor burning), but nothing the little ones cant handle! :)

Looking very nice CA, those buds in the bag....yummy. :yummy:

Thanks much stealth :Namaste: They reak to high heaven I tell ya.. I am sure you can take one of those nugs and press it to the wall and it wouldn't fall down for a couple days LOL

It was sad when I forgot about the girl for.. a week.. She makes for some good tinder now sorry to say. Definitely a better way to get rid of it though instead of putting on the street, I think that would cause a little too much attention

very interested in the hash process , what is the cloth thing you used, and how did you get it done???? i really want to try this

I am using cheap bubble bags "grow your own", from ahmahzohn, they seem to have been holding up pretty well, I just try not to beat the heck out of the sides too much or the micron sifters at the bottom. The square piece came with the set, it is a 25 micron pressing sheet, I have been using it to place the hash and press the remaining water from it. I will explain below :)

Hey CA! How's those sage n sour coming along?

The bushiest girl is going amazing, all her tops are now thriving after the stress, she looks very lime green color though. The smaller statured girl is getting very very bushy but is keeping the small structure. I will give you my word, tonight I will pull them out and take some extensive pictures of these girls :Namaste:

Ohhhkay *cracks neck* ohhhh yeaa.....

So, I wanted to track my process today with the camera. (Hope they came out ok and are able to give you a sense of what I will be explain). This is my process of how I have gotten the hash, I watched videos and read plenty of articles and pretty much just went at it, it really is not that hard.. I would say the hardest thing it getting all the trim, and from what I have read, you want FRESSSSH TRIM straight from the dang branch with some minor manicuring. My betsy run will be the first go with fresh bud, so, this is why I am greatly anticipating it :)now lets get into it..

Make sure your 3x 5 gallon buckets, 5 gal bubble bags, surfaces of tables, everything needs to be super clean for a great product, that and the cold are going to be your best friends.

First I prepared with 2 cannasugar cookies and caffeine to wake my lazy butt up :nomo:
100_5557.JPG

Get your water ready! You want everything cold cold cold.
First
100_5540.JPG

100_5541.JPG

With the cold cold cold in mind, keep ice handy! And your trim and nug chilly cold :high-five:
This is what we will be using for this run!
100_5551.JPG
100_5552.JPG
100_5553.JPG

We start with our 220 micron work bag which I keep in my deep freezer to ensure COLD COLD COLD (although it is not exactly needed I had room in there so I did it) :thumb:
I start with ice on the bottom of the bag and continue with an inch or so layer of bud, to an inch of ice, etc. Not being exactly proportionate just making sure you get everything in the bucket
100_5559.JPG

100_5560.JPG

etc etc etc 3 times in a row without pictures :) And this is what I had.
100_5561.JPG

I then take my ice cold water that has been sitting for the last 10-15 minute and proceed to pour.
100_5564.JPG

Once I have enough water and it is right at the ice line, I add another small layer of ice to help trap more coldness. Make sure you leave atleast a thumb length for spinning purposes.
100_5565.JPG
100_5566.JPG

And add more cold ice water
100_5567.JPG
100_5568.JPG

I would say step one is done!
Good job, pat yourselves on the back :bravo: I then let this sit for 5-10 minutes, that top layer of ice fused and is like a big glacier.. Awwwyea freeze! (I was hitting the surface with the spinning utensil )
100_5569.JPG
100_5570.JPG

So, while everything is freezing, and you have your CLEAN buckets and CLEAN bags, get them set up.. placing the 190 and 160 bags together will save you time
100_5572.JPG

100_55771.JPG

100_55751.JPG

Now this is where I am still experimenting.. With the minor easy poing and proding of the mix I got some good good hash my first go, but the yield suffered I can see now.. With THIS attempt I spun aggressively but not beating the sides, or flinging water everywhere, nice circular spinning motions in a circle form around the bucket, whipping everything too and from! I proceeded to do this for a good 5-8 minutes, let it sit for a minute and went at it for another couple minutes, which resulted with this.

Voila. Work bag can drip in the third bucket, with your money in the middle bucket and your handy helping bucket to the left.

I wanted to do a second run on this, so I put a layer of ice and set it back in the deep freezer.
100_5586.JPG
100_5587.JPG

Back to it, sexy looking water. You take this and pour it into your 190 & 160 screens in the CLEAN buckets
Making sure to get the remaining trichs that stay in the bucket, I use my fawcetts pull out sprayer to help me with this, it works great. You can also use a new clean pesticide sprayer with water and ice in it and you can get the same effect.

But you are left with all of this, spray it again, accumulate it for a scrape!
100_56001.JPG

100_56011.JPG

100_56021.JPG

I then clean this with cold water with the squirter, and then soak it in a bucket of isopropyl!
100_56031.JPG
100_5605.JPG
100_5606.JPG

Yea I got cheap bags, and they seem good to me. I don't bend the micron sheet!
100_56071.JPG

And I hang them to dry.
100_56081.JPG

NEXT BAGGGG! Again, full process.

100_56101.JPG
100_56111.JPG

And then I make sure to press my yield, seems to speed the drying process. Make sure to keep moving it to dry spots on your paper towels.

That was a great tutorial Ca. Thank you.
Do you know what your % return on that run was? How much hash from how much flower and trim???

Your shit looks so delicious. All i can get around here is Butane extracted oil and hash :(

Thank you again for your hard work at putting that guide together!! Enjoy the fruits of your labor sir!!!:roorrip::bong::bigtoke:
