CA215 Indoor #3

Fed the girls last night with their first real dose of some goodies.. about 1.5~ gal, 2-4mL b52, 3-5mL voodoo juice, 1mL-2mL ca/mag, and a tsp unsulph mollass, although pH was a tad low (6.3 with their first dose including their first round of RO water)! I think they loved it they look freakin healthy today, I am almost contemplating doing a nice flush here on the next watering? Any opinions? I remember reading on PeeJay's thread a nice little story on flushing and how he viewed it. For now I am going to pull each girl out of the tent and re tie their LST, they are stretching to the screens again! They sure liked that feed. Will see how they look here when they dry up, I may give them another small dose of goodies to try and get them accustomed to their tasties :Namaste: And I just recalled a test I have today in Socio, daaaaaamnnnn stoner noggin..

Sounds like progress is being made my friend and the girls are loving what you are doing!

Good luck with your test :)

:Namaste:

So I was thinking today, with these girls in 5 gallon pots at the moment, and their genetics being along the sativa dom side.. Would a transplant to 7 gal's prior to flipping to 12/12 be a good idea? The extra base soil would help throughout the remainder of the grow to keep the girls in tip top shape. BUT, with the training and lst to the current fabric pots, it could get a little messy.

Did I ever say I usually cannot decide upon one thing and roll with it....

I mixed up a t(r)ea(t) :) yesterday prior to leaving for my test, within 2 gallons I missed my liquids:
5-7mL ancient humic acid (microbe life)
small dash 1-2mL liquid seaweed
1 teaspoon to the mix of blackstrap (and another teaspoon 30 minutes ago when I woke up)

This was let to bubble while I mixed up my dry stuff:
1/3 red cup VF soil
1/4 red cup natures solution fresh worm castings
1 single pellet of Peruvian seabird guano
1/8 teaspoon Dr Earths nor cal bat guano
pinch of azomite
pinch of Bountea fungal spors

I added my dry ingredients to the bubbling liquid mix an hour and a half later and has since been going at it, definitely less bubbles than what I have been seeing in my previous mixes, but I am thinking this one is due to the cold (water is sitting at 66f).

If anyone has been making teas, do you think a submergible tank heater would be OK for a situation like this, or more preferably a germ pad that it can be rapped in or sit on instead of having the bene filled water in direct contact with that submersible heater?

Thanks for the likes, reps, and comments fellow growers! The girls are calling my name for some early morning tending! :Namaste:

I would go to 7 gallons if its not too hard. The tea you made sounds good. Water is a little cold get a germ pad and set the bucket on top.

I just made a nice veg tea. need to post my recipe today.

Ok Will do, thanks for the quick input shotta :Namaste: I have since moved the tea to a warmer area, germ pad is on order, and will be here for the next batch. I will look into some new 7 gal containers, i'm thinking square containers at the moment. But, with the first transplant we will see how it goes. I have a twist to a training method in mind that I haven't seen anyone use around the forums, so, I might have to put that to use as well... Picture update later today, I got a couple classes, some contemplating, and then I will act! Anticipating seeing how that veg tea turned out for your girls!

Stay safe :peace:

Woke up to some fun stuff, ran a single bag of fresh betsy. Some nice pictures, the water turned purple is was pretty damn cool, smelt delicious. Yield was ok but a lot less than what I was thinking, quality on the 90 and 73 looks, smells, and by the tackiness of it, should be some good potent stuff. I am looking around the house at the moment trying to come up with something to grade it down with.. almost grabbed the cheese grader LOL.. the hash is currently sitting in the freezer awaiting some kind of treatment. In the meantime some shots. Tent lights flicked off on me so half of them are in darkness. They look a little droopy from the watering but I think they will pull through a o k.. Letting them dry for a good 3-4 days maybe longer if needed.

Looking great CA. I gotta get me some of those bubble bags, so far I've just been saving kief and pressing that into a couple of grams, every few weeks. I saved all my trim from my last grow for when I get some bags in the not to distant future.

Good luck with the grow. ;)

Wow brother, I am envious of you! :)

:bravo::bravo:

Appreciate it Les, the fruits of our labor at work again, man, I am getting quite stuck on making hash, I know you get that feeling with qwiso as well, with growing for that matter! Cheers buddy :Namaste:

Get on the bubble stealth, I understand that's all I used to have for some extra stuff was kief from the daily grinder :) With our tolerances being so high that extra applied goodies to our bowls are serving justice. I recently today recalled I had some metal screens from my glass purchase which I proceeded to stick in the bowl, placed some of the 70 micron and watched it bubble away, and then the taste I will let you be the judge of that. I have to slap my damn hand, every time I want to smoke I am looking at the betsy 70 and 90 micron stuff, WOW :yummy:

that just looks awesome, happy for ya , to bad the hash wasn't purp, :bravo:

Thanks auto hoped yall would enjoy some of those pictures! Purple hash would have been out of this world :)
I just recently learned that all that hash water could have been used for some extra processes to make other goodies but all faith is not lost. I still have a good 2-3 oz of frozen betsy nugs and am going to attempt to see if we can pull out a purple tincture.
I am in the market for some 100 proof vodka and some everclear. Yum :partyboy:

That purple water looks delicious! Did you have a sneaky taste?

Mmmm, purple hash water haha :)

:bravo:

I really should have just taken a little sip! That picture of it going down the drain is a punch in the gut

I DONT KNOW IF COULD HAVE NOT TRYED SOME, it does look good

*cue sad violin music*

Looking great, just keep it up as your girls look healthy and happy.

They were showing some signs of burning on the older fans, i'm thinking it was from the foliar I did a couple days prior setting in, and/or the tea being introduced to the soil which might have threw some levels overboard + foliar. They are looking swell with all the new growth. Gave them some stress today though :)

Plants look great, not too much longer till the flip i bet :)

You couldn't be closer to the money! Haha, did most of the lolipoping today that I was figuring was needed.. Not sure small plants like this will take it in stride, but I am sure they will recover with some fat fan leaves to pull them along. :goodluck:
Anticipating flip at minimum 2-3weeks from today if tops are where they need to be :)

nice bushes. I wish all my plants grew this way. :thumb:

Thanks b! They are definitely liking the training, although, i'm thinking topping early on is the way to go due to the elongated growth towards one end :biglaugh: I am going to give the topping early in veg next go round. These girls are showing plenty tops at the moment just a mater of time before they reach themselves to the screens then booom, hid babies!! I may need to do some minor trimming in flower aswell, fingers crossed on theses girls going straight up instead of outwards or it might be getting a little crowded :)

I have pretty much lost count on the ages of my plants. Everything is spaced by a day or two from germination. These girls were grown from a window seal for almost a month LOL :adore: and have now been in the tent for around 36~ give or take days. With no prior strain knowledge I have no idea on a yield and with the plants looking to be different phenos I am expecting some different smells and tastes and numbers, don't you all love growing :thumb: I lollipoped these girls and left a few minor longer branches for hopefully some cloning action here a few before harvest. I am flicking the ballast to 600w after this post to ensure if these girls can grow after being lollipoped/defoled they will have that extra power to do so. Still contemplating the 2x 600w hps for flower which might bring up heat to 80f+ but would make for some nice colas on these small statured girls :Namaste:
