Bux's 252W LED Micro Bloom w/ CO2

How close are those lights to the buds - it looks like they are touching. I have mine at about 6 - 8 inches and am wondering if it would be wise to lower mine.

Slimm the closer to the light you get it the bigger the buds will get. With the HGL I'd get it as close as you can while still covering your screen.

I understand the recommendation to be no closer than 6" except you can go as low as three in the final few weeks of flowering.

You've tried lower than this and not had bleaching?

I have, though not purposely. The bleaching if I remember Cammie's posts, only happens in the first few weeks of flowering and is sometimes strain specific (though I take that with a grain of salt). My LAW had one cola grow basically right into the light. This was the cola that grew the largest and really started to swell the closer it got to the light, it finished up about 1"-3" below the light. I'm not sure how early you can lower it that low, but my best guess is after stretching is done. I'm sure some of us will have to walk the line on this to see how and when the best time to lower them that low is.

Yea I ran out of room on that side. They are touching and they are doing much better then the ones that are 6 inches away from the light. I would get them as close as possible and if you see any signs of bleaching back it up.

The bleaching only seems to happen the first few weeks of flowering. The WW (plant on the left) has been really close to the light for most of the grow. The first few weeks was the only time I had it 5-8 inches away. The closer you can get without it bleaching the better.

Yea I agree. Let it finish stretching then drop it down as low as possible. I think the reason these vendors tell you 6-12 inches is because they need the extra coverage area you will gain by having the light that far above your canopy.

I think you are right with the bleaching, as I have noticed the same. First few weeks it should be further away.

I also agree they want you to have the most coverage so 6" is what they say, and even at that with the HGL 6" doesn't give you much coverage. I have 3 of them, and from what I have seen you couldn't cover a 2'x4' area with even 3 of them, and have enough light to get you decent stuff, worth the money and the bitch of hanging those bricks.

Sorry, I have not posted in here any other time, but just came across it. I still have some early searching to do in this thread. Curious as to what has happened to all of us who own the 126 units.

Seeking a general consensus.
Peace all!

Hey green. Thanks for stopping by. If you scroll up and read some of my rants its pretty clear what I think about the light. I will be able to elaborate more soon.

i got bleaching on my hindu from it only being 1-2" from the light. seems when the plants are this close the light works great, but at 12" not so good.

12" is way to far away for the light to be even in veg. I think 6" is perfect for veg and the first couple weeks of flower then dropping it down to 0-4" for the rest of flower will give the best results. My plant that is 5-6" away is not nearly as dense as the plant that is right on top of the light. I would lower the light if I could but because both plants are not the same size its not an option.

So does Dr. Pepper pay you for product placement? =)

"This message brought to you by Carl's Junior..."

LOL, I couldn't find a bud light can so I had to use the Dr.

One day Carl's Junior will take over the world. Or at least the Midwest. When I was living in Las Vegas I had a CJ down the street. All the bums would sleep on there lawn. Once while I was ordering food the manager must have had a bad night at the tables or something cuz he told an employee to cut the sprinklers on. The homeless scattered.

I just went back and read a bit between you and scoob, bux. I can relate to both of your situations, but I feel more like bux does about the situation. I am out about 1400$ to HGL, and there is not much I can do about it, but we shouldn't have to be eating dirt while the formula gets changed, and we are offered some ridiculous discount, which I guess it better than a swift kick, but once I am out that kind of dough, it's kind of hard to get it back in a timely manner.

In dealing with the 3 companies I have dealt with, I have no other complaints about PS or Lumigrow, as their service is great, and I haven't had any bad experience with their products.

I think to keep it realistic we all just need to decide what works for us, in this case, I feel we got the shaft on overprice prototypes, or beta's if you will. Then once we, well not me, but they, posted results, shit starts changing. Uhg. So I am mad, bux is mad, there are a few of us in disbelief and dislike towards a certain company. To all that has experienced this, I feel ya.

It is nice to see you and scoob kept things respectful and were able to state your points about the light. I think we were lied to at best...

I am glad you have found a way to make it work for you scoob, and as long as you are happy, that's what matters, right? Your not hurting or upsetting anybody, so grow on!

Bux, you and me may have to have some sideline chats about this, I don't want to start a big ruckus on the forums over said company.

Hit me up bro, lend me your thoughts.

All's well dudes! Keep growing!

GG - I would say I'm making the best out of a bad situation. I'm in for 3 - 126w's so I have a few pennies invested. None of you will have the pleasure but I can guarantee you I'll hit the roof when the BB - cfl dries and get's weighed. Something will get broken that day for sure. Live and learn.

you crack me up bro. i will laff my ass off if the cfl dose better. not at your lesson but my own. i will be pissed if the CFL beats the 126w. i am already mad about my grow, but then to know the CFL would have done better on my grow, that will piss me off.

There is still hope for the placement of these units. Beginners, rich ones, and uhm...perhaps an addition to HID setups, but then again were talking the added weight, and the sheer bulkyness of the panels.

One panel to replace one light....why is it so harddddddd??

Take that day off work bro...have some good bong-age...then hit the scales...take it out on the bong...lol

Good times guys...good times....

Re: The Flush

No disrespect WAR but I see plenty of problems with your plants. For you to only get .5gr/w would lead me to believe the light was not the culprit here and you will do better with more experience. I can tell you the plants ledtester grew under the LED's hardly showed any signs of yellowing when they were done compared to HID grows....your leaf tips are all yellow and brown . Your also not going to replecate what Cammie did until you get another 10 lights...LOL
I started the flush on Thursday adding only final phase to the reservoir. I intend to flush for 7-10 days. They are getting close to being finished. The hairs are turning red and I am starting to see Amber. Not much else to update.

No suggestions?

Re: The Flush

I just seen some shit where Cammie is ripping into Ed Rosenthal. Saying he doesn't know how to grow weed! Very funny stuff. How can you claim that the person who taught like 50% of the community to grow weed doesn't know how to grow weed.

Hey Scum. Not really sure what problems you see with my plants so please point it out. The only issue I have been able to find is the old Cal def that was fixed weeks ago and maybe a little bit of nute burn from keeping the plants @ the edge of over nuting. My plants are being flushed right now. They are not getting any nutes at all and are at the end of there life. I would expect them to yellow some but haven't really seen any yellowing to speak of. Where do you see yellowing?

LOL.... I saw that post.. She should be careful what she say's...

The fact that he took bag seed lol and used her 600w worth of LED' made me laugh so hard..

Do you know how many lights she would of sold had he done a 100% Ed Rosenthal grow...LOL.... I'm just guessing here but if I was a vendor trying to get ED to test my lights so I could post the pic's up on a fourm I pay for and sell thousands of lights based off his grow... I would imagine it would run me as a vendor somewhere in the neighborhood of $250,000 at the least.. Not 600 watts of led's that everybody and their brother has on ebay... Nooooooo Way.. Ed's not stupid.. Just my thoughts not yours..LOL

I think the 126w will win but I don't think it'll be by much. considering the plant left under cfl was the worst of the bunch and the cfl was a total afterthought ......

I can confirm that.

the cfl shouldn't come close to the leds. if so that would be real sad. why buy leds when you can use less watts of cfl for allot cheaper cost. that wouldn't be cool. man i really hope someone gets this led stuff down so we can all grow some fat buds. i am getting real tired of seeing not HID comparable buds. i don't want to give up on leds, but $hit.

hey i wanted to ask you how do the buds feel for you? are they solid and dense?
or fluffy not to dense?

Your leaf tips right to the very top scream out nute problems...it could be potassium or mag. defeciency or a ph problem that caused the defeciency by nute lock out. Either way your plants are not as healthy as they could be...sorry for pointing that out I know it's a mortal sin on these forums!...LOL
