Buds Buddy Does DWC: Critical 2.0 For The 1st Time

At this point I'm feeding all the soil plants @ 2 gr. MC per gallon & I do pH to 6.4. Only 1 Blueberry is getting nutes without pH-ing. That one's nutes pH is 6.8 . Both are about 450 ppm.
I'm only at 8 gr. MC per 3 gal. on the DWC Buckets. I've been going by leaf color & haven't seen a need to increase much since leaves have stayed pretty green. But now I'm starting to see the spots so not sure what it is. Afraid to do a 2 or 3 gram jump of MC at one time to be honest so just been increasing by 1 gram per 3 gallons every week. Should I increase it more ?
I'm going to add the Terpinator to my Top off water jug today to introduce it slowly. I'll start with 5 ml. & go up to 8 ml. next bucket change.
 
I was thinking about starting a soil plant or two to go with my few dwc buckets, how is it doing both? Do u use the same nutes for both? And ur plants r looking nice, I’m not sure about those couple spots on the leaves, they have some giant leaves though lol
 
Looks like splash, doesn’t look like a Deficincy. Just keep an eye on them, in case it starts spreading. They look really healthy overall.

Only reason I stated the soil plants now is because the 2 DWC plants are Auto's. Figured why not veg some soil plants since I have the room & the lights need to be on at least 18 hours for the Auto's. As soon as I harvest the 2 Auto's I can switch to 12/12 & start flowering the soil / Photo plants. About 2 weeks into flower I'll start a few more plants (4-5) in my little tent so they'll be ready to flower once the 1st soil plants are done. Able to harvest about every 2 months this way.

Oh, I'm using Mega Crop on both DWC & Soil plants. Just at different strengths & pH. I prefer to pH in soil even though they say it's not necessary. My mind may change on that after I complete ....
"The pH or not to pH Grow Journal" where 1 plant gets 6.4 pH'd nutes & one doesn't get pH'd.
Mainly looking to see if one gets tox.'s or def.'s & the other doesn't. If neither do ... no need to pH.
If the non pH'd one gets something & the other doesn't & it corrects itself by feeding pH'd nutes ... well, my feelings are "you need to pH". If both have problems the nute strength is probably too strong or too weak. That's kind of how I see it.
Again, not trying to prove a point. Just seeing what I prefer to do. Sure would be nice if there is no need to pH though. But I'll test it first & go from there.

I kind of thought that's what it was; but wanted a 2nd opinion.
Time to go up-pot the 2 bigger soil plants.
Adding the Terpinator to the DWC Top off Jugs too so I can get started with it.
Do you use this all the way to harvest ?

Basically yes. You just don't want to go too far outside of a 2:blushsmile:3 ratio of NPK. But at the same time there's certain limits the plant wants as well. If you just use MC alone or any other stand alone nute then you never have to worry as those NPK ratios are already set.
 
I did add 5 ml. of Terp. to the mix for now & then topped off the Buckets this a.m. Also jumped up the MC to 9 gr. for 3 gallons. ppm's are down to 330 already. Goes from 400 to 330 in about 2 - 3 days. They drink close to a gallon every 12 hours it seems. I use a 5 gallon jug every 2 - 3 days to top off the buckets so they are drinking a lot.
I up-potted to 2 gallon pots on 1 Blueberry & OG Pie Breath. Root Growth on these girl is amazing.
I could barely see the soil there were so many roots. About 3 weeks or so till the final pot. I'll probably Top again before then. Both these plants are on 3 gr. per gal. of MC. Fed both 36 oz. today after up-potting.
Oh well, time for a dispensary trip so see ya later.

Went to the dispensary. Got some Grape Ape, Skywalker OG, Banana Kush & some Purple Pennywise. Had to try it cause of the name ... lol.

It's Dark, compact, sticky buds. Has kind of a woody taste but while inhaling it sort of has a hint of a cool mint taste. Good Buzz but not Knock Out Weed. I think it will be my morning coffee weed.
 
Time for a plant update. Let's start with the 2- Blueberry & the SFV Kush. I up-potted these girls a couple of days ago. They are at their 3rd node so not too long til they get topped. Feeding these 3 at 2 grams of MC per gallon. All my soil plants are being fed nutrients at 6.4 pH except for the 1 Blueberry marked NO pH. I'm feeding 36 oz about every 3 days right now.

Next is the Blueberry & OG Pie Breath. These 2 girls are about 8 - 9 days older then the other 3 soil plants. They were topped about a week ago & the branches have grown out some so I started some LST on these 2. They are being fed 3 grams MC per gallon @ 6.4 pH. 36 oz. every 3 days so far.

And the 2 Critical 2.0 Auto's in DWC. So far I've upped the MC to 9 grams per 3 gallons with 8 ml. of Hydro Guard & 5 ml. Terpinator. Will go to 10 grams & 6 ml. of Terp. at Bucket change in a couple days. pH has been between 5.5 - 6.2 pretty much consistently so only having to adjust pH slightly.
ppm's have started out about 400 but drops close to 300 in a few days. Water temps have been between 72.5 - 75 F.
